  • Matvei Michkov RW | PHI

Flyers' Matvei Michkov: Post-Olympics team scoring leader

Michkov had a goal and two assists in Tuesday's 4-2 win over Montreal.

Michkov's goal in the second period stood as the winner. He grabbed a loose puck in front of the Montreal crease and whipped it with Jakub Dobes out of position. Michkov closed the season with goals in three consecutive games (three goals, three assists). He finished the regular season with 51 points following a serious post-Olympics run. Michkov led the Flyers with 22 points, including seven goals, in 26 outings since the Games. Prior to that, he had 29 points (13 goals, 16 assists) in 55 games.

  • Oliver Bonk D | PHI

Flyers' Oliver Bonk: Record-setting NHL debut

Bonk scored a goal and added an assist Tuesday in a 4-2 win over Montreal. It was his NHL debut.

Bonk is the first Flyers defenseman to score a goal in his NHL debut and the third to have a multi-point effort. Gord Murphy (1988-89) and Behn Wilson (1978-79) are the others. Bonk came into Tuesday with six goals and 13 assists in 44 games in his rookie season with AHL Lehigh Valley.

  • Bruins' Viktor Arvidsson: Nails down another 25-goal season

Arvidsson scored a goal Tuesday in a 4-0 win over New Jersey.

Arvidsson missed one game to rest for the postseason. He returned with a bang, scoring for the 25th time this season (54 points; 69 games). He doubled his point production from the 27 he managed in 67 regular-season games in Edmonton last campaign. He has five 25-goal seasons in his career.

  • Canucks' Braeden Cootes: Two goals in Raiders win

Cootes scored twice in WHL Prince Albert's 4-0 win over Saskatoon in Game 3 on Tuesday.

Cootes hadn't scored since the Raiders' first postseason game. He's now at four goals and six assists across eight playoff outings. He's helped get the Raiders on the verge of the WHL's Eastern Conference Finals -- they're up 3-0 over the Blades in this second-round series.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Nets 39th snipe of season

Geekie scored a goal Tuesday in a 4-0 win over New Jersey.

Geekie's goal, which came in the first minute of the game after the Bruins pinned the Devils in their own zone, stood as the winner. He finished the regular season with new career marks in goals (39), assists (29), PPG (12), PPP (24), game-winning goals (six) and shots (181). Geekie's previous career mark came last season when he potted 33 goals and had 57 points total.

  • Flames' Zach Whitecloud: Exits early Tuesday

Whitecloud (upper body) won't return to Tuesday's game versus the Avalanche, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.

Whitecloud took a puck up high in the second period and couldn't finish the contest. He'll be questionable to play in the Flames' regular-season finale versus the Kings on Thursday. The team is also missing Kevin Bahl (lower body) and Jake Bean (undisclosed) on the blue line, so a roster move might be in order if none of the injured defensemen can return.

  • Bruins' Mark Kastelic: Finishes season with goal flourish

Kastelic scored twice Tuesday in a 4-0 win over the Devils.

Kastelic heads into the playoffs on a two-game, four-point scoring streak that includes three goals. This run was preceded by a 16-game point drought; his last goal came 23 games before this outburst. Kastelic is a fourth-line stalwart who managed to set career marks in goals (12), assists (22), PIM (140), PPP (one), SHP (one), game-winning goals (four), blocks (64) and shots (100).

  • Sean Durzi D | UTA

Mammoth's Sean Durzi: Questionable to return

Durzi (upper body) is questionable to return to Tuesday's game versus the Jets.

Assuming Durzi doesn't get back into the lineup, he can be considered questionable for the regular-season finale versus the Blues on Thursday. The Mammoth may opt to be cautious with the 27-year-old blueliner, though they'll likely still be playing for seeding Thursday. If Durzi misses that game, Nick DeSimone or Dmitri Simashev will get into the lineup.

  • David Pastrnak RW | BOS

Bruins' David Pastrnak: Hits 100-point mark again

Pastrnak delivered an assist Tuesday in a 4-0 win over the Devils.

It was Pastrnak's 100th point of the season, a plateau he has hit for four consecutive seasons. Pasta is an elite player, but he has backed into the postseason on a 10-game goal slump. Yes, he put up 10 points in that span, but the slump is real, especially coupled with his lowest goal total -- aside from the COVID-shortened 2020-21 season -- since 2015-16. Pastrnak will carry the Bruins as far as they will go this postseason. He is still looking for his first Stanley Cup.

  • Devils' Nico Daws: Recovers after rough first period

Daws made 22 saves in a 4-0 loss to Boston on Tuesday.

Daws had a rough first period. The first goal got past him with just 53 seconds ticked off the clock, and the gates opened. Daws allowed all four goals in the first frame, including two in a 2:10 span at the end of the period. He found his feet after the first intermission, but his teammates didn't show up offensively to help bail him out. Daws delivered a 15-16-8 record with a 2.84 GAA and .891 save percentage in the AHL this season, and he's at the end of his current contract. He'll likely be renewed in his current role for 2026-27, as both Jacob Markstrom and Jake Allen are inked for several years.
