  • Neal Pionk D | WPG

Jets' Neal Pionk: Not expected to play

Pionk (undisclosed) isn't expected to play against Utah on Tuesday.

Pionk also sat out Monday's 6-2 loss to Vegas, and it's unclear if he will be ready to play in Thursday's regular-season finale against San Jose. He has contributed three goals, 12 points, 97 shots on net, 75 blocked shots and 111 hits across 51 appearances this campaign.

  • Alex Iafallo LW | WPG

Jets' Alex Iafallo: Set to miss out Tuesday

Iafallo (undisclosed) is not expected to be in the lineup versus Utah on Tuesday.

With the Jets officially eliminated from playoff contention, the team has no reason to try to rush Iafallo back into the lineup. As such, the 32-year-old center should probably be considered questionable to face the Sharks in the season finale Thursday. If that's the case, Iafallo will end the year having notched 13 goals and 16 assists, including five power-play points, in 79 contests this year.

  • Evander Kane LW | VAN

Canucks' Evander Kane: Likely done for season

Kane (upper body) will most likely miss the Canucks' final two games of the 2025-26 season, Farhan Lalji of TSN reports Tuesday.

Head coach Adam Foote said that Kane is done for the season unless the team runs into a lot of injuries before its last game Thursday in Edmonton. As such, Kane seems poised to finish the campaign with 13 goals, 31 points, 171 shots, 111 hits and a minus-20 rating over 71 appearances. The veteran winger will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

  • Sam Malinski D | COL

Avalanche's Sam Malinski: Scores in shootout win

Malinski scored a goal on four shots and blocked two shots in Monday's 2-1 shootout win over the Oilers.

Malinski tallied the opening goal at 9:05 of the second period. He has five goals, five assists and a plus-6 rating over his last 11 games, which has helped the Avalanche remain strong even in the absence of Cale Makar (upper body). Through 80 appearances this season, Malinski has eight goals, 39 points, 158 shots on net, 92 blocked shots and a plus-42 rating. With no healthy extras on the roster, the 27-year-old appears poised to play in all 82 games unless the Avalanche call up reinforcements for one or both of the final two regular-season contests.

  • Josh Dunne C | BUF

Sabres' Josh Dunne: Struggling for playing time

Dunne has been scratched 19 times in 24 games, including in Monday's 5-1 win over the Blackhawks, since he returned from an undisclosed injury.

Dunne hasn't been able to crack the lineup often, as the Sabres have rolled with their winning group of forwards to the top of the Atlantic Division. They are locked into their seeding now, so it's possible Dunne could rotate in if the Sabres rest players for Wednesday's regular-season finale against the Stars. If he doesn't get in, he'll finish the year with four points, 28 shots on net, 39 hits and 38 PIM over 33 appearances. Dunne is unlikely to see playing time in the postseason.

  • Daemon Hunt D | MIN

Wild's Daemon Hunt: Earns assist Monday

Hunt notched an assist and three shots on goal in Monday's 6-3 loss to the Blues.

Hunt got into a top-four role with power-play time since the Wild had four regulars on the blue line out of the lineup for either rest or injury management. Hunt can be penciled in to play again Tuesday versus the Ducks in the regular-season finale, but the 23-year-old is unlikely to see much action in the playoffs. He has earned six helpers, 19 shots on net, 21 hits and 41 blocked shots over 31 outings this season.

  • Wild's Michael McCarron: Buries shortie in loss

McCarron scored a shorthanded goal on three shots and added two hits in Monday's 6-3 loss to the Blues.

McCarron has scored in back-to-back games. He played on the third line Monday as the Wild rotated many players out of the lineup, but he'll be a fourth-line fixture come playoff time. He's earned eight goals, 17 points, 107 shots on net, 203 hits, 77 blocked shots, 91 PIM and a minus-16 rating over 78 outings between the Wild and the Predators this season.

  • Danila Yurov RW | MIN

Wild's Danila Yurov: Tallies on power play

Yurov scored a power-play goal on two shots and added two PIM in Monday's 6-3 loss to the Blues.

Yurov centered the first line in a heavily rotated Wild lineup. The 22-year-old will likely be back in the bottom six to start the playoffs. His goal Monday snapped an 11-game slump that also saw him sit out twice as a healthy scratch. Yurov is at 11 goals, 26 points (three on the power play), 76 shots on net, 58 hits, 43 blocked shots and 28 PIM over 72 appearances. He has the potential to become a multi-category contributor in fantasy, but it could take a couple more years for that potential to be realized.

  • Blues' Jonathan Drouin: Registers helper in win

Drouin picked up an assist and two shots on goal in Monday's 6-3 win over the Wild.

Drouin has failed to make much of an impact since he was acquired from the Islanders in the Brayden Schenn deal. Through eight outings with the Blues, Drouin has two points and 10 shots on net while filling a middle-six role, but he's also been out of the lineup 10 times since his St. Louis debut. Overall, the 31-year-old has just 23 points, 83 shots on net, 32 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating over 63 outings this season. That suggests his success from the previous two years had more to do with the winning environment he was in with the Avalanche rather than anything Drouin was individually accomplishing.

  • Ryan Pulock D | NYI

Islanders' Ryan Pulock: Sitting out season finale

Pulock (undisclosed) will not play in Tuesday's home matchup versus Carolina.

The Islanders relayed in their announcement that Pulock has been contending with several injuries. The right-shot blueliner will now turn his attention to healing up in the offseason in order to be ready for training camp in the fall. Isaiah George will draw into the lineup in the Isles' regular-season finale.
