On the same topic where head coach Paul Maurice stated that Balinskis is questionable, he noted that Michael Benning, who was called up Thursday, will likely suit up and make his NHL debut. Balinskis has 10 assists, 15 points, 66 shots on goal, 71 hits and 42 blocked shots across 54 games played this season. His status will be monitored during Thursday's morning skate, but if he can't go, it would likely lead to Benning taking Balinskis' spot on Florida's second pairing.

Benning was recalled from AHL Charlotte on Thursday.

Following Thursday's move, Benning will have the opportunity to make his NHL debut after posting a solid trio of seasons in the AHL. Across 56 games with Charlotte this season, he has eight goals, 23 assists and 110 shots on net. The 24-year-old defenseman has been a steady contributor from the blue line with 89 points across 182 career games with the Checkers, which should help him carve out a role with the Panthers if his name is called upon.

Larkin (leg) is expected to miss the remainder of Detroit's upcoming road trip, per Helene St. James of Detroit Free Press.

Larkin has been held out of the lineup in the team's last two games with a leg injury he sustained in Detroit's clash with Florida on Friday. With the 29-year-old center expected to miss the final two games of the upcoming road trip, the earliest he could return to the lineup is Monday's home game against Calgary. In the captain's absence, the Red Wings called up Sheldon Dries, John Leonard and Eduards Tralmaks to Detroit's roster under emergency conditions Wednesday and have a strong chance to finish the upcoming road trip with the NHL club.

Laczynski notched three assists in AHL Henderson's 7-6 overtime win over Tucson on Wednesday.

Laczynski has six helpers over six outings in March. The 28-year-old forward continues to be productive at the AHL level with 16 goals and a career-best 53 points through 48 appearances for Henderson. He's also earned five helpers over 10 NHL games this season.

Holtz logged three assists in AHL Henderson's 7-6 overtime win over Tucson on Wednesday.

Holtz has four helpers over three contests since he joined the Silver Knights after passing through waivers Friday. The 24-year-old is eligible for the AHL playoffs with that move, but he'll also be organizational depth for the big club should any injuries take out a forward. Holtz had nine points in 28 games with the Golden Knights prior to his demotion.

Lavoie scored three goals in AHL Henderson's 7-6 overtime win over Tucson on Wednesday.

Lavoie has seven goals and two assists over his last seven AHL outings. The 25-year-old forward is up to 29 points in just 28 contests this season, surpassing his point total from 42 regular-season appearances last year. He's yet to record his first NHL point, though he's drawn into just one contest for Vegas this season.

Stutzle logged two assists, including one on the power play, in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Canadiens.

This effort extended Stutzle's point streak to 14 games. In that span, he's earned eight goals and 11 assists, including six power-play points. The 24-year-old center has reached the 70-point mark for the fourth year in a row with 30 goals and 40 helpers in 64 appearances. He's added 157 shots on net, 98 hits, 40 blocked shots, 31 PIM and a plus-7 rating.

Batherson scored two goals on four shots, added two PIM and levied six hits in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Canadiens.

Batherson's goals came 1:59 apart in the first period, with the first one being a power-play tally. He has six goals and two helpers over his last six contests while continuing to offer both scoring and physical play from a top-six role. For the season, the winger is at 25 goals, 57 points (21 on the power play), 134 shots on net, 93 hits and a minus-3 rating across 61 appearances.

Ullmark stopped 20 of 23 shots in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Canadiens.

He allowed a goal in each period. Ullmark hadn't taken a regulation loss in his last 13 appearances, going 9-0-3 in that span. He's now at a 19-9-7 record with a 2.85 GAA and an .883 save percentage over 36 starts this season. Ullmark's save percentage is unusually low, but he's just a win away from reaching 20 for the fifth year in a row, so he's still a decent No. 2 goalie in most fantasy formats.

Texier scored a goal on two shots and added four hits in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Senators.

Texier had been a healthy scratch for the last five games before jumping into the lineup for Cole Caufield (illness). The 26-year-old Texier took a top-line spot and made the most of it with a tally at 17:29 of the second period. Texier is up to eight goals, 20 points, 61 shots on net, 45 hits and a plus-10 rating over 40 appearances between the Canadiens and Blues this season. He's not a guarantee to be in the lineup, but he has produced fairly well when given the chance.
