Brandon Saad LW | LV
Golden Knights' Brandon Saad: Produces assist Tuesday
Saad logged an assist and two shots on goal in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Ducks in Game 5.
Saad was in the lineup for the second time this postseason as he continues to fill in for the injured Mark Stone (lower body). In the regular season, Saad was limited to nine points, 78 shots on net and a minus-7 rating over 49 regular-season appearances. He's filling a bottom-six role for now. Saad has extensive postseason experience prior to this year, having earned 57 points over 111 games across nine previous playoff runs.

Jack Eichel C | LV
Golden Knights' Jack Eichel: Dishes two assists in Game 5
Eichel notched two assists and six shots on goal in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Ducks in Game 5.
Eichel has six helpers over his last four games, with three of those assists coming on the power play. The 29-year-old's goal drought is up to eight contests, but his playmaking continues to be a standout area. Eichel is up to a total of 15 points (six on the power play), 31 shots on net, nine blocked shots, eight hits, 10 PIM and a plus-4 rating through 11 playoff outings.

Tomas Hertl C | LV
Golden Knights' Tomas Hertl: Goal, assist in overtime win
Hertl scored a goal, dished a power-play assist and added three hits in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Ducks in Game 5.
Hertl's now scored in back-to-back games after going 29 contests without a goal. This was also his first multi-point effort since March 4 versus the Red Wings. The 32-year-old center is at five points, 18 shots on net, 26 hits and a minus-2 rating over 11 playoff outings. With three of those points coming over the last two games, the floodgates look to be opening for Hertl, though his spot on the third line could continue to limit his production.

Pavel Dorofeyev RW | LV
Golden Knights' Pavel Dorofeyev: Two goals in Game 5 win
Dorofeyev scored twice on four shots and blocked two shots in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Ducks in Game 5.
Dorofeyev's first tally, a power-play goal, tied the game at 1-1 in the first period. The winger then missed part of the second period after blocking a shot off his leg, but he returned and was ultimately the hero with an even-strength tally at 4:10 of overtime. He's looking like Mr. Game 5 so far -- he had a hat trick in Game 5 of the first round versus the Mammoth. The winger is up to seven goals, two assists, 29 shots on net and a plus-4 rating over 11 playoff contests in a top-six role.

Carter Hart G | LV
Golden Knights' Carter Hart: Picks up overtime win in Game 5
Hart stopped 34 of 36 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Ducks in Game 5.
Hart continues to alternate wins and losses in the second round. The Ducks put up a series-high 36 shots against him Tuesday, but they were battling back for much of the third period and didn't get a shot to land in overtime before Pavel Dorofeyev won it for Vegas. Hart is now 7-4 this postseason with a 2.49 GAA and a .909 save percentage across 11 games. If he's to help the Golden Knights avoid Game 7, he'll need to be sharp again in Thursday's Game 6.

Huang logged four assists in QMJHL Chicoutimi's 5-4 overtime win over Moncton in Game 3 on Tuesday.

He's earned five helpers over three games in the QMJHL Finals, which Chicoutimi leads 2-1 after this win. The Nashville prospect has had some positive moments this season after going 122nd overall in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft.

Ryan Poehling C | ANA
Ducks' Ryan Poehling: Leaves Tuesday's game
Poehling (upper body) won't return to Tuesday's Game 5 versus the Golden Knights.
Poehling was hurt on a heavy hit by Brayden McNabb in the first period. For now, Poehling can be considered day-to-day ahead of Thursday's Game 6. If he has to miss time, Jansen Harkins or Frank Vatrano would be the top candidates to enter the lineup.

Penguins' Sergei Murashov: Earns shutout in AHL win
Murashov recorded a 24-save shutout in AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's 2-0 win over Springfield in Game 1 on Tuesday.
Murashov earned the first playoff shutout of his AHL career. He's gone 4-1 with a 1.59 GAA and a .947 save percentage over five playoff games. Murashov will continue to backstop WBS during the club's postseason run, in preparation for the 22-year-old getting a chance to claim a full-time NHL job in 2026-27.

Charlie McAvoy D | BOS
Bruins' Charlie McAvoy: Lands six-game suspension
McAvoy received a six-game suspension from the NHL Department of Player Safety on Tuesday for slashing Buffalo's Zach Benson.
The incident occurred in Boston's series-ending loss to Buffalo on May 1 during the first round of the playoffs. As a result, the 28-year-old blueliner will serve the suspension at the start of the 2026-27 regular season. McAvoy achieved a career-high of 61 points in 69 regular-season games last season. He could replicate this performance once his suspension is over, provided he remains healthy.

Islanders' Mathew Barzal: Won't play in World Championship
Barzal (undisclosed) won't participate in the 2026 IIHF World Championship because of a minor injury, Hockey Canada announced Tuesday.
Barzal will skip the tournament to recover, but he should be ready for the start of the 2026-27 NHL campaign. In 81 regular-season appearances for the Islanders in 2025-26, he produced 19 goals, 72 points, 184 shots on net and 50 blocked shots.
