Drake Batherson RW | OTT
Senators' Drake Batherson: Buries goal Monday
Batherson scored a goal on three shots and added five hits in Monday's 3-2 double-overtime loss to the Hurricanes in Game 2.
Batherson has six shots and nine hits over two playoff contests. The 27-year-old winger is a lock for top-six minutes and power-play time. Batherson is in his second playoff run after racking up two points over six outings during the 2025 postseason. He had a career-high 71 points (30 on the power play) over 79 regular-season games this year.

Logan Stankoven C | CAR
Hurricanes' Logan Stankoven: Opens scoring in Game 2
Stankoven scored a power-play goal on five shots in Monday's 3-2 double-overtime win over the Senators in Game 2.
Stankoven is shining with three points over his first two games this postseason. He has gotten on the scoresheet in each of his last 10 games, earning nine goals and five helpers in that span, including five points on the power play. Stankoven had a 44-point effort over 81 regular-season contests while primarily centering the Hurricanes' second line, so he'll be counted on for key top-six minutes this spring.

Sebastian Aho LW | CAR
Hurricanes' Sebastian Aho: Tallies in double-overtime win
Aho scored a goal on four shots in Monday's 3-2 double-overtime win over the Senators in Game 2.
The tally was Aho's first point in two games this postseason. He sat out three of the Hurricanes' last four regular-season contests, wrapping up the campaign with 80 points in 79 appearances. Aho's a near point-per-game player in past playoff runs, totaling 34 goals and 51 assists across 89 postseason contests in his career.

Luke Glendening C | PHI
Flyers' Luke Glendening: Pots empty-netter in Game 2 win
Glendening scored an empty-net goal on two shots, blocked three shots and added two PIM in Monday's 3-0 win over the Penguins in Game 2.
Glendening had gone without a point over his last four games. The 36-year-old forward has the experience and defensive acumen to be a fourth-line mainstay during the playoffs. Over seven previous playoff runs, he's earned 10 points across 50 appearances, so he's unlikely to be a source of steady offense.

Scott Wedgewood G | COL
Avalanche's Scott Wedgewood: Slated to start in Game 2
Wedgewood is expected to start at home in Game 2 against the Kings on Tuesday, per Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette.
It's no surprise Colorado is going back to Wedgewood for Game 2, as the 33-year-old is unbeaten in five straight starts. He has turned aside a combined 111 of 114 shots (.974 save percentage) during that time. The 2010 third-round pick made 24 saves on 25 shots in Sunday's 2-1 win in Game 1, and considering the Avalanche were the highest-scoring team during the regular season, Wedgewood is in a strong position to wind up in the win column Tuesday if his team can muster up more than two goals.

Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen G | BUF
Sabres' Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen: Set to start Game 2
Luukkonen is expected to protect the home net in Game 2 against Boston on Tuesday, according to Justin Alpert of the Sabres' official site.
During his NHL playoff debut, Luukkonen stopped 17 shots in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Bruins. Boston took a 2-0 lead at the 1:08 mark of the third before Buffalo rallied for the victory. Luukkonen had a shaky showing, but the team earned the win, and the experience he gained could be valuable as the series progresses.

Jeremy Swayman G | BOS
Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: In goal versus Sabres
Swayman will be between the pipes on the road for Game 2 against Buffalo, per Russ Macias of The Hockey News.
Swayman stopped 34 of 37 shots in Game 1, falling to the Sabres 4-3 along the way. In his last six outings, the 27-year-old backstop has managed just one victory, going 1-4-0 despite a decent 2.60 GAA and .908 save percentage. If the Alaska native drops another game, the Bruins could decide to give Joonas Korpisalo a look in the crease.

Adam Henrique C | EDM
Oilers' Adam Henrique: Suffers injury Monday
Henrique (undisclosed) suffered an injury in Game 1's 4-3 win over Anaheim on Monday, according to Jamie Umbach of the Oilers' official site.
Henrique left the game and didn't return after getting tangled up with a teammate in front of the Anaheim net. He had one shot on goal and one hit in only 2:56 of ice time before leaving the game. The Oilers expect to know more about the 36-year-old forward's status ahead of Game 2 on Wednesday. If Henrique misses time, Curtis Lazar and Josh Samanski are potential candidates to enter the lineup.

Lucas Beckman G | OTT
Senators' Lucas Beckman: Pens ELC with Ottawa
Beckman signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Senators on Tuesday.
Beckman was selected by Ottawa in the fourth round (97th overall) in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft. The 18-year-old netminder is currently playing in the postseason with QMJHL Chicoutimi -- he's undefeated in eight playoff games while posting a dazzling 0.75 GAA and .962 save percentage. The Senators didn't make it official in their announcement, but Beckman's entry-level deal will presumably begin during the 2026-27 campaign.

Jason Dickinson C | EDM
Oilers' Jason Dickinson: Lights lamp twice Monday
Dickinson scored two goals in Monday's 4-3 win over the Ducks in Game 1 of their first-round playoff series.
Dickinson is not known for being an offensive force, but he found the back of the net on his two shots in this game and played a big role in a game where Connor McDavid went pointless for the Oilers. Dickinson is expected to play a defensive role in the playoffs, as he's key in penalty-killing situations, and he probably won't be a scoring threat for the Oilers in most games.
