Nathan MacKinnon C | COL
Avalanche's Nathan MacKinnon: Pots empty-netter
MacKinnon scored an empty-net goal on two shots and went plus-2 in Saturday's 2-0 win over the Stars.
MacKinnon remains hot with six goals and two assists over his last six games. That's not even his peak pace on offense, but the Avalanche can afford to take it easy since they're three points gained (or lost by the Stars) from securing the Presidents' Trophy. MacKinnon has matched his career high with 51 goals and is up to 122 points, 327 shots, 60 hits, 35 PIM, 34 blocked shots and a plus-57 rating over 74 appearances in an MVP-caliber season.

Drake Batherson RW | OTT
Senators' Drake Batherson: Nets lone goal in loss
Batherson scored a goal and added two hits in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Wild.
Batherson has four goals on eight shots over his last five contests. The 27-year-old winger is up to 31 goals, 65 points, 158 shots on net, 115 hits and a minus-6 rating over 73 outings this season. His goal total is already a personal best, and he could still push for the first 70-point campaign of his career with a strong finish to the regular season.

Jared Spurgeon D | MIN
Wild's Jared Spurgeon: Snags helper in win
Spurgeon recorded an assist in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Senators.
Spurgeon recently missed a game due to an upper-body injury, but he's been back in a bottom-four role for the first two games in April. The 36-year-old defenseman is a prime candidate for rest prior to the playoffs, so fantasy managers should approach with caution. He's at 20 points, 85 shots on net, 79 hits, 130 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over 75 appearances this season, his most games played in three years with time left to pass the 79 regular-season outings he had in 2022-23.

Jacob Middleton D | MIN
Wild's Jake Middleton: Ends slump with goal Saturday
Middleton scored a goal, blocked two shots and added 10 PIM in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Senators.
Middleton had gone 16 games without a point prior to that third-period insurance tally. The 30-year-old continues to see steady bottom-four minutes, providing physicality rather than offense for a Wild blue line that has plenty of the latter from other players. Middleton is at 15 points, 58 shots on net, 82 hits, 74 PIM and 105 blocked shots across 69 appearances this season.

Jonas Brodin D | MIN
Wild's Jonas Brodin: Opens scoring Saturday
Brodin scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Senators.
Brodin ended a 30-game goal drought with his first-period tally. He missed 18 contests due to two lower-body injuries during that stretch. The defenseman has four goals, 17 points, 69 shots on net, 117 blocked shots and a plus-14 rating over 57 appearances, serving as a shutdown blueliner in the Wild's top four.

Dan Vladar G | PHI
Flyers' Dan Vladar: Facing Bruins
Vladar will patrol the home crease against Boston on Sunday, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Vladar is coming off a 21-save performance in Friday's 4-1 win over the Islanders. He has a 25-13-7 record this campaign with a 2.47 GAA and a .905 save percentage through 47 appearances. Boston ranks eighth in the league with 3.30 goals per game this season.

Linus Karlsson C | VAN
Canucks' Linus Karlsson: Scores twice in loss
Karlsson scored two goals on three shots in Saturday's 7-4 loss to the Mammoth.
Karlsson found the back of the net for the first time since March 19, when he scored a goal in a 6-2 loss to the Lightning. The 26-year-old forward recorded only one point in the seven games between the last two in which he scored, so he's been far from reliable in most fantasy formats. His bottom-six role in one of the worst offenses in the league doesn't really help his fantasy prospects, either. With 33 points (15 goals, 18 assists) in 73 games, Karlsson isn't much of a fantasy asset outside of the very deep formats.
-
Nikita Tolopilo G | VAN
Canucks' Nikita Tolopilo: Suffers fourth straight loss
Tolopilo stopped 17 of 23 shots in Saturday's 7-4 loss to the Mammoth.
Tolopilo got another start due to the absence of Kevin Lankinen (illness), but he struggled between the pipes once again. The 25-year-old has been far from reliable in most fantasy formats and has allowed three or more goals in six games in a row while allowing at least four goals in the last four. Tolopilo has posted a 5.69 GAA and an .819 save percentage during an ongoing four-game losing streak.

Dylan Guenther RW | UTA
Mammoth's Dylan Guenther: Another multi-point performance
Guenther recorded an even-strength goal and a power-play assist in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Canucks.
Guenther has recorded multi-point performances in three of his last four appearances, and the 22-year-old winger is ending the regular season on a strong note with eight points (four goals, four assists) over that stretch. Guenther should continue to find ample opportunities to score regularly as a top-six forward who also skates on the first power-play unit.

Lawson Crouse LW | UTA
Mammoth's Lawson Crouse: Scores, assists in win
Crouse scored a goal and added an assist in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Canucks.
Crouse went pointless in his previous three games, but he bounced back admirably in this one and left his mark in a big win for Utah. Crouse has shown some inconsistencies lately on a game-to-game basis, but he remains productive as a top-six forward with eight points (five goals, three assists) over his last nine appearances. He also has 22 PIM, 19 shots on goal, 25 hits and eight blocked shots over that span, so he's making his presence felt on both ends of the ice.
