  • Anthony Mantha RW | PIT

Penguins' Anthony Mantha: Finds back of net again Saturday

Mantha produced a goal and an assist in Saturday's 9-4 win over the Panthers.

Both points came in the second period as Pittsburgh blew open a 2-2 tie. Mantha has caught fire of late, lighting the lamp in four of the last five games and getting onto the scoresheet in all five while racking up five goals and eight points. On the season, the veteran winger has already produced new career highs with 31 goals and 61 points in 77 contests.

  • Penguins' Rickard Rakell: Point streak at seven games

Rakell scored a power-play goal and added an even-strength assist in Saturday's 9-4 rout of Florida.

Both points came in the second period as the Penguins broke open a 2-2 tie. Rakell has gotten onto the scoresheet in seven straight games, piling up eight goals and 11 points over that stretch, and on the season he's contributed 22 goals and 46 points in 56 contests.

  • Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Two helpers in big win

Crosby collected two power-play assists in Saturday's 9-4 rout of the Panthers.

The 38-year-old superstar had a hand in tallies by Erik Karlsson in the first period and Evgeni Malkin in the second. Crosby has delivered a goal and 10 points in nine games since returning from a lower-body injury in mid-March, and after 65 contests on the season, he sits two goals short of his 14th 30-goal campaign, and one point away from reaching 70 for the 16th time.

  • Penguins' Erik Karlsson: Four points against Florida

Karlsson scored a power-play goal and added three assists, two with the man advantage, in Saturday's 9-4 rout of the Panthers.

The veteran defenseman has delivered at least three points in three of his last six games, although he was held off the scoresheet completely in the other three. Since the beginning of March, Karlsson has been on fire, producing 10 goals and 28 points in 19 games to help put the Penguins on the verge of locking up a playoff spot.

  • Penguins' Evgeni Malkin: Strikes for hat trick in rout

Malkin scored three goals, one on the power play and another the game-winner, and added a power-play assist in Saturday's 9-4 win over Florida.

It was the 14th career hat trick for the future Hall of Famer, and his first multi-point performance in three games since returning from an upper-body injury that cost him the final four contests in March. On the season, Malkin has 18 goals and 57 points in 53 games, and he blew past the 1,400-point mark for his career as part of Saturday's eruption.

  • Penguins' Arturs Silovs: Cruises to win Saturday

Silovs made 19 saves in Saturday's 9-4 rout of the Panthers.

The game was actually tied 2-2 heading into the first intermission, but Pittsburgh blew the game open in the second while chasing Sergei Bobrovsky from the Florida crease. Silovs has been getting plenty of offensive support over the last month, and he's needed it -- over his last eight starts he's gone 5-3-0 despite a rough 3.92 GAA and .842 save percentage.

  • A.J. Greer LW | FLA

Panthers' A.J. Greer: Two-point effort Saturday

Greer produced a goal and an assist in Saturday's 9-4 loss to Pittsburgh.

The 29-year-old winger got Florida on the board midway through the first period after his team had already fallen into a 2-0 hole, before things completely fell apart for the Panthers in the second. Greer has put together career-best offensive numbers in 2025-26, delivering 15 goals and 28 points in 72 contests with 187 hits, 111 PIM, 94 shots on net and a plus-9 rating.

  • Panthers' Daniil Tarasov: Needed in relief Saturday

Tarasov turned aside nine of 12 shots after replacing Sergei Bobrovsky midway through the second period of Saturday's 9-4 rout at the hands of the Penguins.

Neither goalie had much success behind the Panthers' injury-depleted blue line, as the two-time defending Stanley Cup champions were officially eliminated from the playoffs. Tarasov has just one win in his last six outings, going 1-4-0 with a rough 4.46 GAA and .873 save percentage.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Gets hook as Cats get eliminated

Bobrovsky gave up six goals on 19 shots before being replaced by Daniil Tarasov midway through the second period of Saturday's 9-4 loss to the Penguins.

In the process, the Panthers were officially eliminated from the playoff race, ending their chance at a Stanley Cup threepeat. Bobrovsky is limping to the finish line of a disappointing campaign, allowing at least four goals in three of his last six starts while going 3-3-0 with a 3.24 GAA and .871 save percentage.

  • Stars' Casey DeSmith: Takes tough loss against Avs

DeSmith stopped 20 of 21 shots in Saturday's 2-0 loss to Colorado, with the Avalanche's final goal getting scored into an empty net.

DeSmith and Scott Wedgewood were locked in a scoreless goaltending duel for 50-plus minutes, until Martin Necas tapped home a slick pass from Artturi Lehkonen midway through the third period. DeSmith has been playing well over the last few weeks but hasn't gotten much offensive support, posting a 2.61 GAA and .901 save percentage over his last five outings but going 0-4-1 as the Stars have averaged just 2.0 goals in those contests.
