  • Capitals' Jakob Chychrun: One of each Saturday

Chychrun tallied a goal, recorded an assist and fired two shots on net in Saturday's 6-2 win over Buffalo.

Chychrun found the back of the net just over three minutes into regulation before sliding the primary helper on Connor McMichael's goal two minutes later. With the pair of points, Chychrun is up to 25 goals, 59 points, 214 shots on net, 56 hits and 107 blocked shots across 75 appearances this season. The veteran blueliner has been hot as of late with eight points and eight blocked shots over his last five games. He's on pace for the first 60-plus point regular season of his 10-year career and remains a strong player to roster in all fantasy formats for the foreseeable future.

  • Wild's Cal Petersen: Cruises to AHL shutout

Petersen posted a 14-save shutout in AHL Iowa's 4-0 win over Rockford on Saturday.

Petersen is up to four shutouts this season. He improved to 12-15-2 with a 2.71 GAA and an .896 save percentage over 31 games. Petersen provides the Wild with goaltending depth, but he's unlikely to see significant NHL time.

  • Capitals' Logan Thompson: Shines in Saturday's win

Thompson halted 37 of 39 shots on goal in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Sabres.

After struggling in Thursday's outing, Thompson was dominant in Saturday's contest from the second period onward. Overall, he now has a 28-21-6 record, a 2.52 GAA and a .910 save percentage across 55 appearances this season. The 29-year-old netminder has been a workhorse for the Capitals as of late, appearing in 16 of Washington's 18 games since the Olympics. He has a strong floor for the remainder of the fantasy playoffs and has a chance to reach 30 or more wins for the second consecutive season.

  • Colten Ellis G | BUF

Sabres' Colten Ellis: Yields three goals in relief

Ellis turned away 20 of 23 shots on net in Saturday's 6-2 loss to Washington.

Ellis entered Saturday's contest in relief of Alex Lyon and put together a fair outing despite the loss. Overall, Ellis now holds a 7-4-1 record, a 3.13 GAA and an .895 save percentage across 14 games this season. Saturday's outing was the 25-year-old netminder's first appearance since the Olympic break, and he should likely see some more playing time now that the Sabres have qualified for the playoffs. His next chance to take the ice is Monday's home game against the Lightning.

  • Alex Lyon G | BUF

Sabres' Alex Lyon: Gets hook Saturday

Lyon allowed three goals on five shots in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Capitals.

Lyon struggled in Saturday's contest, allowing two goals across 20 seconds early in the first period before surrendering a third just over two minutes later. He picked up the loss and ultimately pulled in favor of Colten Ellis. The 33-year-old Lyon now has a 20-10-4 record, a 2.77 GAA and a .906 save percentage across 36 outings this season. After posting a six-game win streak to resume play following the Olympic break, Lyon has struggled over his last three outings, going 0-2-1 with a 6.24 GAA and a .772 save percentage across three outings. His next chance to get back on track before the playoffs is Monday against the Lightning.

  • Blue Jackets' Mason Marchment: Adds helper in return

Marchment logged an assist and two blocked shots in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Jets.

Marchment missed one game due to an undisclosed injury but was back on the top line for this contest. However, the Blue Jackets haven't won any of the last six games, so it's possible the lines will be shuffled heading into Tuesday's game in Detroit. Marchment is now at 41 points, 109 shots on net, 54 PIM, 69 hits and 26 blocked shots over 63 appearances between the Blue Jackets and the Kraken this season.

  • Bruins' Casey Mittelstadt: Gets 15th goal of season

Mittelstadt scored a goal Saturday in a 3-1 loss to the Lightning.

The goal was Mittlestadt's 15th of the season. He has 41 points and 76 shots in 67 games this season. That mirrors Mittlestadt's output last year in fewer appearances. He had 40 points, including 15 goals, and 105 shots (81 games). The 27-year-old has reached the 40-point mark for four straight regular seasons.

  • Penguins' Rutger McGroarty: Pockets three points for WBS

McGroarty scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's 6-2 win over Lehigh Valley on Saturday.

McGroarty is up to eight goals and 29 points over 27 appearances this season. It won't be long before he's an NHL regular, but with the Penguins pushing for a playoff spot, he may stay with WBS to help the farm team in the AHL postseason.

  • Jack Williams RW | CLB

Blue Jackets' Jack Williams: Trio of assists for Cleveland

Williams logged three assists in AHL Cleveland's 6-5 win over Milwaukee on Saturday.

Williams has a goal and six assists during a five-game point streak. The 24-year-old has racked up 14 goals, 22 helpers and 135 shots on net over 67 appearances as an AHL rookie this year. He will need to stay consistent with Cleveland to have a chance at a call-up to Columbus.

  • Blue Jackets' Hudson Fasching: Gets two goals for Monsters

Fasching scored twice in AHL Cleveland's 6-5 win over Milwaukee on Saturday.

Fasching has had an unremarkable AHL campaign with just 16 points over 60 appearances. That's the most games he's played in an AHL season since 2018-19, as he spent a lot of time in the NHL while with the Islanders over the last three years. However, the 30-year-old would likely need to land with a team that lacks forward depth to get back to the NHL at this stage of his career.
