    Stars' Roope Hintz: Remains unavailable

Hintz (lower body) won't play in Game 3 against Minnesota on Wednesday, per Owen Newkirk of DLLS Sports.

Hintz hasn't been skating and has been out since March 6 against Colorado due to the injury. It remains unclear when he will return to the lineup. Hintz concluded the 2025-26 regular season with 15 goals, 44 points, 126 shots on net and 60 hits in 53 appearances.

  • Stars' Jake Oettinger: In goal for Game 2

Oettinger will patrol the crease at home for Game 2 against Minnesota, Stars radio analyst Bruce LeVine reports.

Oettinger was shelled in Game 1, giving up five goals on 28 shots (.821 save percentage) in a 6-1 defeat. During the regular season, the 27-year-old backstop went 35-12-6 with a 2.59 GAA and four shutouts in 54 appearances. Even with the poor performance in Game 1, Oettinger is unlikely to see himself dropped from the starting role in favor of Casey DeSmith.

  • Lightning's Charle-Edouard D'Astous: Doubtful for Tuesday

D'Astous (undisclosed) is doubtful for Game 2 against Montreal on Tuesday, according to Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times.

D'Astous was absent from Monday's practice after being injured in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Canadiens in Game 1. Based on Monday's session, Declan Carlile appears poised to replace D'Astous in Tuesday's lineup, but Max Crozier is also available.

  • Oilers' Connor Ingram: Set to face Ducks in Game 1

Ingram will patrol the home crease against Anaheim on Monday in Game 1, Tony Brar of Oilers TV reports.

Ingram is in line to make his fourth NHL playoff start. He went 0-3-0 and allowed 14 goals on 161 shots in four appearances with Nashville during the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Ingram had a 16-10-3 record with two shutouts, a 2.60 GAA and an .899 save percentage in 32 appearances with Edmonton during the 2025-26 regular season.

  • Oilers' Jason Dickinson: Status uncertain Monday

Dickinson (leg) will be a game-time decision for Game 1 versus Anaheim on Monday, Mark Spector of Sportsnet reports.

As is typical in the postseason, head coach Kris Knoblauch wouldn't reveal whether Dickinson or Leon Draisaitl (lower body) will be ready to play Monday. Still, Dickinson has been working in the third-line center role in the lead-up to Game 1, which would seem to indicate that he'll be ready to go.

  • Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Game-time decision Monday

Draisaitl (lower body) will be a game-time call for Game 1 against the Ducks on Monday, Mark Spector of Sportsnet reports.

Draisaitl has been reportedly working hard in practice in order to get back into the lineup for the start of the postseason. If the 30-year-old center does play, he figures to slot into his usual second-line role in addition to linking up with the No. 1 power-play unit. In order to suit up Monday, Draisaitl will need to be activated off of long-term injured reserve, which will be the final step in the process.

  • Tyler Kleven D | OTT

Senators' Tyler Kleven: Won't play in Game 2

Kleven (upper body) won't be an option for Game 2 against Carolina on Monday, Julian McKenzie of The Athletic reports.

Kleven hasn't played since April 2 against Buffalo due to the injury. He was a full participant in Monday's morning skate, but he worked as an extra and isn't quite ready to return yet. He registered three goals, 18 points, 90 shots on net, 94 blocked shots and 126 hits across 70 appearances during the 2025-26 regular season.

  • Artem Zub D | OTT

Senators' Artem Zub: Game-time call Monday

Zub (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision for Game 2 against the Hurricanes on Monday, Julian McKenzie of The Athletic reports.

Zub was injured during Game 1 on Saturday, logging just 7:44 of ice time before being forced to leave the contest. If Zub does miss out, it appears that Nikolas Matinpalo will step into his top-four spot in the lineup, while Lassi Thomson could play after sitting out Game 1.

  • Capitals' Rasmus Sandin: Set to miss start of 2026-27 season

General manager Chris Patrick said Monday that Sandin (knee) is expected to miss a "decent amount of time" to begin the 2026-27 campaign, Sammi Silber of The Hockey News reports.

Sandin missed the final two games of the regular season in 2025-26 due to a knee injury, and he's expected to continue to deal with the injury over the summer and into next fall. It's not yet clear when the 26-year-old will be able to make his 2026-27 debut, but Patrick said Monday that Sandin's injury will factor into the Capitals' offseason plans.

  • Penguins' Stuart Skinner: Starting Game 2

Skinner will protect the home net in Game 2 against Philadelphia on Monday, per Michelle Crechiolo of the Penguins' official site.

Skinner is coming off a 17-save effort in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Flyers in Game 1. If the Penguins fall behind 2-0 in the best-of-seven series, head coach Dan Muse might give Arturs Silovs a turn to start Game 3 in Philadelphia on Wednesday.
