  • Golden Knights' Matyas Sapovaliv: Three points in AHL win Friday

Sapovaliv scored two goals and added an assist in AHL Henderson's 4-3 win over Tucson on Friday.

With the effort, Sapovaliv is up to 15 goals and 13 helpers through 65 appearances. He's made some gains compared to his 19-point rookie season over 71 contests last year. He has four points over his last two outings.

  • Niklas Kokko G | SEA

Kraken's Niklas Kokko: Earns AHL shutout Friday

Kokko logged a 21-save shutout in AHL Coachella Valley's 2-0 win over Abbotsford on Friday.

This was Kokko's second shutout of the season. He's struggled quite a bit this year, going 18-10-2 with a 3.10 GAA and a .903 save percentage over 34 appearances despite similar a similar workload to last year. Kokko has improved lately with seven wins over his last 10 outings, but he's allowed five goals in each of his three losses in that span.

  • Islanders' Simon Holmstrom: Adds helper in return

Holmstrom notched an assist and three shots on goal in Friday's 4-1 loss to the Flyers.

Holmstrom played 20:09 in this contest after sitting out Tuesday versus the Sabres due to an upper-body injury. The winger has five goals and two assists over his last 10 outings to provide solid scoring from a middle-six spot. He's reached the 40-point mark for the second year in a row with 19 goals, 21 assists, 95 shots on net, 43 blocked shots and a plus-10 rating over 74 appearances.

  • Islanders' Jean-Gabriel Pageau: Scores lone goal in loss

Pageau scored a goal in Friday's 4-1 loss to the Flyers.

Pageau ended an 11-game goal drought with the tally. He was limited to two assists and 11 shots on net in that span. The 33-year-old isn't a steady source of offense, but he can go on hot streaks to provide depth scoring for the Islanders. He's at 16 goals, 33 points, 75 shots on net, 106 hits, 49 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating through 69 outings this season.

  • Ilya Sorokin G | NYI

Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Falls to Flyers

Sorokin stopped 17 of 21 shots in Friday's 4-1 loss to the Flyers.

Sorokin is struggling with 14 goals allowed on 82 shots during his three-game losing streak. He's played in 10 straight games, going 4-6-0 in that span, but the Islanders need to ride him to have their best chance of holding onto a playoff spot. Sorokin is down to 28-21-2 with a 2.62 GAA and a .909 save percentage over 51 appearances this season. Head coach Patrick Roy didn't name his starter for Saturday's game in Carolina, leaving the door open for Sorokin to potentially start again, which would be his third complete back-to-back set in a row. If Sorokin rests, David Rittich would get the nod.

  • Owen Tippett RW | PHI

Flyers' Owen Tippett: Pots opening goal in win

Tippett scored a goal on three shots, added three hits and blocked two shots in Friday's 4-1 win over the Islanders.

Tippett has a goal and an assist over his last two games. He was surging for a bit in March, earning seven goals and four helpers over nine outings between March 11-28. The 27-year-old is still in a top-six role, so he should be capable of contributing steady offense. He's matched his career high of 28 goals and has reached the 50-point mark for the second time in his career while adding 212 shots on net, 153 hits, 49 blocked shots, 30 PIM and a minus-7 rating over 76 appearances.

  • Alex Bump LW | PHI

Flyers' Alex Bump: Logs two points in limited minutes

Bump scored a goal, added an assist, blocked two shots and went plus-3 in Friday's 4-1 win over the Islanders.

Bump was a healthy scratch in the Flyers' previous two contests. With Denver Barkey and Porter Martone also on the roster in the midst of a playoff race, Bump will probably not be an everyday player to close out the campaign. He's done pretty well with four goals, four assists, 18 shots on net, eight hits and a plus-4 rating over his first 13 NHL appearances, but if he stays in a bottom-six role, his offense could falter.

  • Flyers' Travis Sanheim: Goal, assist in Friday's win

Sanheim scored a goal on three shots, added an assist, blocked two shots and went plus-3 in Friday's 4-1 win over the Islanders.

Sanheim has a pair of multi-point efforts over his last three outings. The 30-year-old defenseman continues to play heavy minutes on the Flyers' top pairing, though his power-play time has been inconsistent. Sanheim is up to 10 goals -- a mark he's reached in two of the last three years -- and 35 points through 76 appearances this season. He's added 88 shots on net, 142 blocked shots and a plus-10 rating.

  • Matvei Michkov RW | PHI

Flyers' Matvei Michkov: Racks up three points in win

Michkov scored a goal on three shots, dished two assists, added two PIM and went plus-3 in Friday's 4-1 win over the Islanders.

Michkov ended a 12-game goal drought with his second-period tally. He had also been limited to four assists over seven outings since his previous multi-point effort. The 21-year-old winger is up to 17 goals, 43 points, 146 shots on net, 31 hits, 67 PIM and a minus-6 rating over 75 appearances. It's been a challenging campaign at times for Michkov, but this is likely just a sophomore slump year.

  • Dan Vladar G | PHI

Flyers' Dan Vladar: Reaches 25-win mark

Vladar stopped 21 of 22 shots in Friday's 4-1 win over the Islanders.

Vladar was steady in this win, letting in just a Jean-Gabriel Pageau tally in the second period. The 28-year-old Vladar continues to enjoy a career year, reaching the 25-win mark for the first time. He's at 25-13-7 with a 2.47 GAA and a .905 save percentage over 47 appearances. Vladar's gone 3-2-0 with 13 goals allowed over his last five outings, but he should see the bulk of the starts moving forward as the Flyers battle for a playoff spot.
