  • Olli Maatta D | CGY

Flames' Olli Maatta: Earns pair of points in win

Maatta scored a goal on two shots, dished an assist, went plus-2 and blocked two shots in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Canucks.

Maatta has two goals and five points over his last three contests. The 31-year-old defenseman continues to thrive with the Flames, who have given him a top-four role where his veteran experience can shelter the team's prospects. Maatta has 10 points over 12 outings with the Flames, giving him 11 points, 27 shots on net, 42 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating over 34 appearances between Calgary and Utah on the year.

  • Ryan Strome C | CGY

Flames' Ryan Strome: One of each Saturday

Strome scored a goal on three shots, dished an assist and went plus-2 in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Canucks.

Strome tallied at 1:32 of the second period and then set up Olli Maatta's goal a few minutes later. The 32-year-old Strome has made the most of his new opportunity in Calgary, seeing steady middle-six minutes since he was traded from the Ducks. He's earned nine points over 12 outings as a Flame, matching his total for the year over 33 appearances for the Ducks. Strome also has 51 shots on net, 19 hits, 27 PIM and a minus-7 rating across 45 contests overall.

  • Zayne Parekh D | CGY

Flames' Zayne Parekh: Earns first career multi-point game

Parekh scored a power-play goal on two shots, dished an assist and added two PIM in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Canucks.

The first-period helper was his first even-strength point of the campaign. He then secured his first career multi-point outing with a goal late in the second period. Parekh is at six points, 31 shots on net, 20 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating over 28 appearances. The 20-year-old defenseman is seeing sheltered minutes this season, but he looks to be growing in confidence on offense with four points over the last five games.

  • Morgan Frost C | CGY

Flames' Morgan Frost: Pops off with three points

Frost scored a goal, added two assists and went plus-2 in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Canucks.

This was Frost's first multi-point effort since March 7 versus the Hurricanes. He has four goals and two assists over his last seven outings. The 26-year-old center also won 16 of 21 draws Saturday. He has been good at the dot all year, winning a career-best 57.0 percent of his faceoffs. Frost is up to 18 goals, 20 helpers, 121 shots on net, 47 hits, 35 blocked shots and a minus-15 rating over 73 appearances. He looks poised to get back over the 40-point mark after missing it last year.

  • Flames' Matthew Coronato: Three-point effort in win

Coronato scored a goal, added two assists and went plus-2 in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Canucks.

Coronato set the tone with a goal 3:04 into the game, and he added his pair of assists, including one on the power play, in the second period. The 23-year-old winger has found some consistency lately with three goals and six assists over his last seven outings, including three power-play points. It's tough to trust most of the Flames' skaters, but Coronato looks to be a viable fantasy option late in the season. He's now at 17 goals, 22 helpers, 13 power-play points, 179 shots on net and a minus-25 rating over 72 appearances.

  • Dustin Wolf G | CGY

Flames' Dustin Wolf: Gets plenty of support in win

Wolf stopped 31 of 34 shots in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Canucks.

Wolf gave up a goal in each period, but the Flames' offense offered a rare burst of support to make this an easy win. With three straight wins, Wolf looks to be benefiting from alternating starts with Devin Cooley again. Wolf is up to 22-25-3 with a 2.95 GAA and an .898 save percentage over 52 outings. If the Flames keep up the goalie rotation, Cooley would get a tough matchup Monday in Colorado, while Wolf's next start would be another difficult one Thursday in Vegas.

  • Kings' Joel Edmundson: Garners assist Saturday

Edmundson notched an assist, three shots on goal, two hits, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Mammoth.

Edmundson has picked up two assists, a plus-7 rating, 21 blocked shots and 18 hits over 14 appearances in March. The 32-year-old blueliner continues to handle top-four minutes in a shutdown role. He's earned 19 points, 87 shots on net, 87 hits, 96 blocked shots, 23 PIM and a plus-11 rating through 73 appearances. If he can get one more point, he'll reach 20 for the second year in a row and the third time in his 11-year career.

  • Kings' Anze Kopitar: Lights lamp Saturday

Kopitar scored a goal, added two PIM and blocked three shots in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Mammoth.

Kopitar got the Kings on the board in the first period, but the Mammoth's offense was overwhelming. This tally snapped a three-game point drought for the center. He's up to 12 goals, 34 points, 85 shots on net, 51 blocked shots, 30 hits and a plus-15 rating over 58 appearances. Kopitar will look to give everything he's got over the last few weeks of the regular season as he looks to get one more chance in the playoffs in his farewell campaign.

  • Adrian Kempe RW | LA

Kings' Adrian Kempe: One of each in loss

Kempe scored a goal, added an assist and logged two hits in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Mammoth.

Kempe set up Anze Kopitar in the first period and then scored a goal of his own in the third. The tally ended a six-game goal drought for Kempe, who was limited to three assists in that span. The 29-year-old has also battled a nagging lower-body injury recently, which may explain his decline in production. For the season, he's at 27 goals, 62 points, 193 shots on net, 118 hits, 56 PIM and a plus-10 rating over 72 appearances. If Kempe is playing at less than 100 percent, he could have a tough time assembling enough of a surge to secure a third straight 70-point campaign.

  • Kings' Anton Forsberg: Plays third period Saturday

Forsberg stopped all 11 shots he faced in relief of Darcy Kuemper in the third period of Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Mammoth.

The Mammoth got an empty-netter early in the third period but didn't put the puck behind Forsberg in his relief appearance. The 33-year-old has given up 15 goals on 140 shots over five appearances in March, which has led to him serving firmly in the backup role. He remains at 11-11-5 with a 2.81 GAA and a .902 save percentage over 30 appearances this season. The Kings have a back-to-back in the middle of the week, hosting the Blues on Wednesday and the Predators on Thursday. Forsberg could get a start in that span, though Kuemper could get doubled up for starts if the Kings need to go all-out to gain ground in the playoff race.
