Jets' Mark Scheifele: Gets Gordie Howe hat trick Tuesday
Scheifele scored an empty-net goal on three shots, dished two assists, added five PIM and went plus-3 in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Golden Knights.
Scheifele had a Gordie Howe hat trick in this contest. He assisted on the Jets' first two goals, and he fought Brett Howden late in the second period after Howden's hit on Kyle Connor. Scheifele completed his effort with the empty-netter. The center snapped a three-game skid and earned his fifth multi-point effort of March in the process. He's up to 32 goals, 54 assists, 153 shots on net, 39 blocked shots, 29 hits, 31 PIM and a plus-3 rating over 71 appearances. Scheifele is now one point shy of matching his career-high total of 87 from the 2024-25 regular season.

Brock Faber D | MIN
Wild's Brock Faber: Establishes new career points mark
Faber grabbed his 15th goal of the season Tuesday in a 6-3 loss to the Lightning.
It came on a first period power play when his point shot deflected off the bottom on Andrei Vasilevskiy's glove. Faber's goal established a new career mark in points (48) in 72 games. He's already building a new career mark in goals; his previous best was 10. Remarkably, this was Faber's first power-play goal of the season. The talented blueliner has five points (one goal, four assists) in his last four games.

Connor Hellebuyck G | WPG
Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Wins over Vegas
Hellebuyck stopped 26 of 27 shots in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Golden Knights.
Hellebuyck had gone 0-1-2 with 13 goals allowed over his previous three outings. He locked in for a good performance in this one, allowing just a Colton Sissons power-play tally in the second period. Hellebuyck's record has taken a hit with the Jets' overall struggles this year, as he's now at 18-19-11 through 48 starts. He's added a 2.81 GAA and an .898 save percentage, but he remains firmly in the starting role for a team still on the fringe of the playoff race. He may be a goalie to avoid for the rest of the week in fantasy since the Jets' next two games are against the Avalanche.

Vladimir Tarasenko RW | MIN
Wild's Vladimir Tarasenko: Five goals in last six games
Tarasenko scored a goal and added an assist in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to Tampa Bay.
The goal was Tarasenko's 21st this season. The enigmatic winger has five goals and two assists in his last six games, and he is heating up at the right time for managers who held onto him, hoping for his offense to wake up. Tarasenko's overall numbers look slim (21 goals, 21 assists; 65 games), but he's a great late-season option if you're swinging for the proverbial fences.

Jake Guentzel C | TB
Lightning's Jake Guentzel: Nets 300th NHL goal
Guentzel scored a goal and added an assist in a 6-3 win over the Wild on Tuesday.
The goal was Guentzel's 300th in the NHL, and it was in the dirty area of the ice -- he was on his knees below the right circle, and he hammered in his own rebound. Guentzel has 74 points, including 32 goals, in 70 games this season and 645 points in 670 games in his career. He remains on pace to set a new career mark in points; his current mark is 84 points (40 goals, 44 assists) with Pittsburgh in 2021-22.

Brandon Hagel LW | TB
Lightning's Brandon Hagel: New career goal mark on horizon
Hagel scored a goal and added an assist in a 6-3 win over Minnesota on Tuesday.
Hagel scored his 33rd goal of the season into an empty net -- that's just two fewer than his career mark of 35 set in 82 games last season. He has done it this year in 65. Hagel has 10 points (three goals, seven assists) and 12 shots in his last five games. He has 187 shots.

Brayden Point C | TB
Lightning's Brayden Point: Rip-and-tear since early December
Point scored a goal Tuesday in a 6-3 win over the Wild.
Point got Tampa's first goal on the power play early in the second period. It was his first goal in eight games (five assists). However, he's been streaking since early December. Point has points in 24 of his last 31 games (35 points, including 14 goals).

Andrei Vasilevskiy G | TB
Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Excellence unmatched right now
Vasilevskiy made 20 saves in a 6-3 win over the Wild on Tuesday. He also picked up a rare goalie assist.
The Wild went up 2-0 with two power-play goals in the first period, and then 3-1 by the mid-point of the second. However, Vasilevskiy bricked up the net, and his teammates responded with five straight goals. This was a tight, playoff-style match -- the go-ahead goal came with 2:53 remaining, and the Bolts snagged two empty-net goals. Vasilevskiy's excellence is unmatched right now. He has won four straight games and is 34-12-3 with two shutouts, a 2.30 GAA and .914 save percentage in 49 starts this season. His 34 wins lead the NHL, his GAA is second and his save percentage is fourth in the league.

Erik Cernak D | TB
Lightning's Erik Cernak: Pots go-ahead goal in win
Cernak scored the go-ahead goal Tuesday in a 6-3 win over Minnesota.
Cernak broke a tight game open with 2:53 remaining in the third period. Filip Gustavsson couldn't control a shoot in as it careened off the boards, and it trickled through his legs at the left post. He was right there to knock it in at the top of the crease. It's Cernak's second goal of the season; he has 10 points, 92 hits, 81 blocks and 39 shots in 49 games.

Darren Raddysh D | TB
Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Breakout season rolls along
Raddysh scored a goal and added two assists in a 6-3 win over the Wild on Tuesday.
The goal and one assist came on the power play; the goal was his 20th of the season. There are few superlatives strong enough to describe Raddysh's breakout season. The sniping is likely an anomaly given his inflated 11.1 shooting percentage, which is double his 2024-25 regular season mark of 5.6. All the same, his confidence is soaring, and you need to ride Raddysh's success through your postseason. He has three goals and three assists in his last four games (20 shots). He has 180 shots, 62 hits and 60 blocks in 63 games this season, and half of his goals (10) and 25 of his points have come with the man advantage. Raddysh's 20 goals puts him into a tie with Dan Boyle (2006-07) and Victor Hedman (2021-22) for the team record from a defender.
