  • Senators' Linus Ullmark: Gets plenty of help in Sunday's win

Ullmark made 19 saves on 23 shots in Sunday's 7-4 win over the Sharks.

The veteran netminder was hardly at his best, but the Senators gave Ullmark more than enough offensive support to come away with his fourth win in six March starts. Ullmark has only one regulation loss in eight outings since the Olympic break, going 5-1-2 with a 2.62 GAA and .889 save percentage over that span.

  • Sharks' Shakir Mukhamadullin: Two helpers in Ottawa

Mukhamadullin pocketed two assists in Sunday's 7-4 loss to the Senators.

The 2020 first-round pick picked up his first points in March with his first multi-point performance since the first game of the season, Oct. 9 against the Golden Knights. Mukhamadullin has yet to get much of a chance to show his offensive skill in the NHL -- through 35 games this season, the 24-year-old blueliner has four goals and 10 points along with 49 blocked shots, 33 shots on net, 21 hits, 14 PIM and an even plus-minus rating.

  • Sharks' Mario Ferraro: Two points in Sunday's loss

Ferraro scored a goal and added an assist in Sunday's 7-4 loss to the Senators.

Both points came in the first period, but Ferraro technically scored another goal in the frame -- it was just for Ottawa, as he tipped a Drake Batherson centering pass by a startled Laurent Brossoit for the home team's first tally. Ferraro has officially found the back of the net in back-to-back games, and on the season he's up to six goals and 18 points in 65 games. He's added 121 blocked shots, 108 hits, 76 shots on net, 31 PIM and a plus-2 rating. This is the fifth straight season in which the 27-year-old blueliner has reached triple digits in both hits and blocks.

  • Sharks' Tyler Toffoli: Two-point effort Sunday

Toffoli produced a goal and an assist in Sunday's 7-4 loss to Ottawa.

His first-period goal briefly gave the Sharks a 2-1 lead, but the Senators took control in the second and never looked back. Toffoli has been his usual steady self since the Olympic break with three goals and eight points over his last 10 games.

  • Cole Caufield RW | MON

Canadiens' Cole Caufield: Pots goal in loss Sunday

Caufield scored a goal on four shots in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Ducks.

Caufield leads the Canadiens in goals this season and is now up to 39 goals and 66 points across 65 regular-season contests. He hasn't missed a beat since missing one game due to illness against the Senators last week, as he's scored in back-to-back games since his return. He should continue to be one of Montreal's most reliable fantasy options across all formats ahead of the final weeks of the regular season.

  • Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Starting against Los Angeles

Shesterkin was the first goalie off during Monday's morning skate, Colin Stephenson of Newsday reports, indicating that he'll draw the home start against the Kings.

Shesterkin has picked up wins in five of his last six outings, going 5-0-1 with a 2.63 GAA and .921 save percentage during that time. He'll draw a third consecutive start and will have a favorable matchup against the Kings, who are generating 2.61 goals per game, which is tied for the third-worst mark in the NHL.

  • Sharks' Laurent Brossoit: Sunk by Sens in season debut

Brossoit turned aside 17 of 23 shots in Sunday's 7-4 loss to Ottawa, with the Senators' final goal getting scored into an empty net.

With Yaroslav Askarov (lower body) sidelined, Brossoit was called up from the AHL and made his first NHL start since April 18, 2024, when he was still a member of the Jets. The 32-year-old netminder's return to the top level of hockey didn't go particularly well, however, and the tone for the game was set when Brossoit watched his own defenseman, Mario Ferraro, tap the puck past him for Ottawa's first goal, credited to Drake Batherson. Askarov's injury doesn't appear to be serious, and with the Sharks having no more back-to-backs sets on their schedule until early April, this could wind up being Brossoit's only NHL appearance before the end of the season.

  • Nick Suzuki C | MON

Canadiens' Nick Suzuki: Records two points Sunday

Suzuki scored a goal on three shots and added an assist in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Ducks.

Suzuki has scored in back-to-back games for the second time this month, and the star playmaker is enjoying a strong run of form since the Olympic break. The 26-year-old is up to 13 points (five goals, eight assists) in just nine appearances since the league resumed in late February. For the season, Suzuki is up to 78 points (23 goals, 55 helpers) in 66 contests, with nearly half of those points (35) coming on the power play.

  • Jacob Fowler G | MON

Canadiens' Jacob Fowler: Tagged with loss Sunday

Fowler stopped 24 of 28 shots in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Ducks.

Fowler has dropped three of his past four starts while allowing at least three goals in each of those defeats. The 21-year-old is bound to experience some ups and downs, though, so he's more of a matchup-based option in fantasy. Jakub Dobes should remain as the clear-cut No. 1 option between the pipes in Montreal, but Sam Montembeault is also in the mix as a potential backup. That said, Montembeault hasn't played since March 6 and has made just two appearances since the Olympic break.

  • Jets' Morgan Barron: Two helpers against Blues

Barron picked up two assists in Sunday's 3-2 win over St. Louis.

The bottom-six forward produced his first multi-point performance since Oct. 13, as he had a hand in tallies by Haydn Fleury in the first period and Kyle Connor in the third. Barron has found a bit of an offensive spark in March, and through eight games this month, he's delivered three goals and five points along with 17 hits, 11 shots on net, 10 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating.
