Coleman scored a shorthanded goal, fired six shots on net, blocked two shots and dished out two hits in Monday's 7-3 loss to the Capitals.
Coleman buried the first of two shorthanded goals in the second period for Calgary, as he dangled the puck in front of Washington netminder Logan Thompson before placing it top shelf. Coleman led the Flames' forwards statistically, garnering the largest number of shots on net, blocked shots and hits in the game. Overall, he is up to 15 goals, 25 points, 124 shots on net, 123 hits and 35 blocked shots across 51 games this season. His recent offensive output of four points in as many games and strong category coverage are two compelling reasons to roster Coleman in deep fantasy leagues for the time being.

Laughton produced a goal and an assist in Monday's 5-4 overtime win over Columbus.
The veteran center opened the scoring early in the first period, redirecting a feed from Brian Dumoulin past Jet Greaves from in close. The move to the West Coast is agreeing with Laughton -- he has two goals and three points in his first two games with the Kings, while skating on the third line at even strength and seeing shifts with the second power-play unit.

Dumoulin produced a goal and two assists in Monday's 5-4 overtime win over Columbus.
The veteran blueliner isn't known for his offense, but Dumoulin picked up a point in each regulation period, including his second goal of the season in the third. It was his first multi-point performance since Jan. 5, and the three-point outburst equaled his production from his prior 21 games combined.

Gridin scored a goal and recorded three shots on net in Monday's 7-3 loss to Washington.
Gridin's goal helped inspire a mid-game turnaround for the Flames, who would go on to score three times in the second period to level the score at 3-3. With the twine finder, the 20-year-old forward is up to four goals, eight points, 37 shots on net and 17 blocked shots across his first 19 career NHL games. The rookie has showcased solid offensive potential in a limited capacity with the Flames this season, even posting a point in each of his last two games. While he's slowly approaching the fantasy radar in standard formats, Gridin is an intriguing name to roster in dynasty formats moving forward.

Kempe scored two goals, one the overtime winner, in Monday's 5-4 victory over the Blue Jackets.
After tying the game at 3-3 late in the second period, Kempe caught the Jackets napping on a change in the extra frame, giving him a wide-open look at Jet Greaves that he cashed in. Kempe has gotten onto the scoresheet in five straight games, racking up four goals and seven points during that stretch, and the scoring surge has carried him to his fifth straight 25-goal campaign.

Capitals' Ryan Leonard: Pads lead with late goal
Leonard deposited a goal, fired three shots on net and dished out four hits in Monday's 7-3 win over the Flames.
Leonard's goal arrived with 16 seconds remaining in the contest to place the Capitals up by four scores. He is up to 12 goals, 33 points, 114 shots on net, 84 hits and 20 blocked shots over 58 games this season. The 21-year-old winger is off to a hot start in March, where he has a point in each of the three games he's played. In that stretch, he has posted two goals, six shots on net and eight hits, showcasing his ability to cover stat categories and making him a valuable player to own in category-based fantasy leagues for years to come.

Forsberg made 28 saves in Monday's 5-4 overtime win over the Blue Jackets.
Facing the team he made his NHL debut with back in 2014-15, Forsberg wasn't at his sharpest, but he got just enough support to escape Columbus with a win. The veteran netminder has allowed four or more goals in four of seven outings since the beginning of February, going 2-3-1 with a 3.52 GAA and .886 save percentage.

Frank tallied a goal and recorded three shots on net in Monday's 7-3 win over Calgary.
Frank helped seal the deal for Washington in Monday's contest with his empty-net goal with less than three minutes remaining. Overall, the 28-year-old winger now has 12 goals, 24 points, 85 shots on net, 47 hits and 41 blocked shots across 54 games this season. The goal was his first since signing a two-year, $4 million contract extension with the Capitals on Wednesday. The late-bloomer Frank has proved he belongs at the NHL level and should continue to play a solid two-way role on Washington's fourth line moving forward.

Sourdif scored a goal, supplied two assists and fired four shots on net in Monday's 7-3 win over the Flames.
Sourdif's three-point outing led the Capitals offensively Monday. With the trio of points, he is up to 13 goals, 16 assists, 89 shots on net, 75 hits and 30 blocked shots over 61 games this season. The 23-year-old center continues to impress as the campaign has progressed, scoring 20 of his 29 points since Dec. 31. This fact, combined with his recent line assignment centering the team's top line, gives him the tools necessary to be a solid fantasy player for the remainder of 2025-26.

Capitals' Connor McMichael: Lights lamp twice Monday
McMichael scored two goals, including one on the power play, fired three shots on net and recorded two blocked shots in Monday's 7-3 win over Calgary.
After his ninth goal of the season, where he put the puck away off a slick feed from Justin Sourdif, McMichael went on to score an unassisted power-play goal for his 10th marker. Alongside his 10 twine finders, McMichael has 33 points, 115 shots on net, 33 hits and 34 blocked shots across 61 games this season. He should continue to draw line assignments in the team's middle six moving forward, which places him in a solid spot to produce in deep fantasy leagues.
