  • Jakub Dobes G | MON

Canadiens' Jakub Dobes: Earns win Saturday

Dobes stopped 36 of 39 shots in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Kings.

Dobes was one of the main reasons why the Canadiens got the win Sunday, but that was just another strong showing in a series of very good performances for the 24-year-old. Dobes has won six of his last eight starts, going 6-1-1 with a 3.10 GAA and an .896 save percentage. He has lost in regulation only once since the calendar flipped to 2026 and seems to be firmly entrenched as the Habs' No. 1 goaltender for the time being.

  • Kings' Anze Kopitar: Extends point streak to three games

Kopitar scored a goal and took four shots in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Canadiens.

Kopitar snapped a prolonged 21-game goalless skid, as this was his first goal since a 4-2 win over Utah back on Dec. 8. The veteran playmaker also missed 11 games due to a lower-body injury between Jan. 7 and Jan. 29. Kopitar has had a subpar season in 2025-26. He posted 67 points in 2024-25 while playing in 81 regular-season contests, but he's been limited to just 26 points (seven goals, 19 assists) in 47 games in 2025-26. That's subpar production for a first-line center, especially one of Kopitar's stature.

  • Kings' Alex Laferriere: Pots goal Saturday

Laferriere scored a goal in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Canadiens.

Laferriere has been inconsistent with his scoring numbers, but he seems to be turning things around of late. The 24-year-old has scored in three of the Kings' last four games, a span in which he's tallied 17 shots and 15 hits as well. Laferriere has 29 points (16 goals, 13 assists) in 62 games this season.

  • Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Tagged with loss Saturday

Kuemper stopped 19 of 23 shots in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Canadiens.

Kuemper was on pace to earn a win, but the Habs rallied back with two third-period goals to flip the script. Kuemper has been slumping of late and has lost three of his last four starts, going 1-3-0 with a 4.38 GAA and a subpar .844 save percentage in that span.

  • Blue Jackets' Adam Fantilli: Steps up late in OT loss

Fantilli recorded a goal and an assist in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Mammoth. He also took five shots on goal.

Fantilli cut Columbus' deficit to 4-3 with a backhander at the 13:38 mark of the third period and set up Mason Marchment's equalizer 30 seconds later. Fantilli has been one of the best players for Columbus this season and has been on a tear of late, cracking the scoresheet in all but one of his last seven outings. Over that stretch, the 21-year-old playmaker has nine points (five goals, four assists), 17 shots on goal, 18 hits and five blocked shots.

  • Blue Jackets' Mason Marchment: Records goal, assist

Marchment recorded a goal, an assist, four shots on goal, two hits, two blocked shots and a plus-1 rating in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Mammoth.

Marchment stepped up when the Blue Jackets needed him the most, setting up Adam Fantilli's goal and later scoring one of his own in a 30-second span in the third period. Marchment has cracked the scoresheet in five of his last seven appearances, tallying seven points (two goals, five assists) over that span.

  • Blue Jackets' Elvis Merzlikins: Subpar showing in OT loss

Merzlikins stopped 18 of 23 shots in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Mammoth.

It wouldn't be a stretch to say that Merzlikins has been subpar since the regular season resumed following the Olympic break. The 31-year-old netminder has made four appearances, going 1-1-1 with a 3.79 GAA and an .850 save percentage over that span. Perhaps more worrying is the fact that he's posted a save percentage below .880 in each of his three starts over that span. The Blue Jackets will take on the Kings on Monday before starting a three-game road trip between March 10 and March 14.

  • Dylan Guenther RW | UTA

Mammoth's Dylan Guenther: Extends point streak

Guenther scored a goal and took three shots in Saturday's 5-4 overtime win over the Blue Jackets.

Guenther scored his 29th goal of the season with a tip-in at the 12:12 mark of the second period. The 22-year-old star winger is on the verge of setting a new career-best mark in points. He had 60 points (29 goals, 31 assists) in 70 regular-season games in 2024-25, and he's up to 54 points (29 goals, 25 assists) in 61 contests in 2025-26. If he continues to play as well as he's done all season long, it should be a matter of time before he sets a new personal best in points.

  • Logan Cooley C | UTA

Mammoth's Logan Cooley: Scores twice, including game-winner

Cooley scored two goals in Saturday's 5-4 overtime win over the Blue Jackets. He also recorded five shots on goal, one hit, two blocked shots and a plus-1 rating.

Cooley gave Utah a 4-2 lead early in the third period, and after the Blue Jackets stormed back to even things up, Cooley came through to pot the winner in overtime. Cooley has cracked the scoresheet in four of Utah's six games since the Olympic break, tallying five points (three goals, two helpers), a plus-3 rating, 11 shots, four hits and five blocked shots in that span.

  • Mammoth's Michael Carcone: Scores in back-to-back games

Carcone recorded a goal and an assist in Saturday's 5-4 overtime win over the Blue Jackets.

Carcone made the most of his playing time Saturday, scoring a goal with his lone shot and recording two points despite logging just 9:58 TOI. Even though Carcone has scored in back-to-back games, the 29-year-old holds a fourth-line role and isn't regularly involved in the team's attacking sequences, thus limiting his fantasy upside considerably.
