  • Bruins' Nikita Zadorov: Good to go Tuesday

Zadorov (undisclosed) will play against Buffalo on Tuesday in Game 5, according to Adam Pellerin of NESN.

After missing Monday's practice for maintenance, Zadorov will be good to go for Tuesday's must-win matchup versus the Sabres. He has collected one assist, four shots on goal, four blocked shots, 16 hits and 37 PIM in four appearances this postseason. The Bruins need a victory to force Game 6 in Boston on Friday.

  • Bruins' Viktor Arvidsson: Ruled out for Game 5

Arvidsson (upper body) will miss Tuesday's Game 5 against the Sabres, per Amalie Benjamin of NHL.com.

Arvidsson did not travel with the Bruins to Buffalo after sustaining the upper-body injury early in Game 4. The 33-year-old winger has been a large part of the Bruins' offense during the first-round matchup with two goals and 11 shots on net across four games. If Boston can force Game 6, Arvidsson will have a chance to return to the team's lineup in another win-or-go-home situation. In his absence, Michael Eyssimont, James Hagens or Alex Steeves will likely occupy Arvidsson's spot in the lineup.

  • Lukas Dostal G | ANA

Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Guarding cage Tuesday

Dostal will patrol the crease on the road in Game 5 against the Oilers on Tuesday, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports.

Dostal has given up three or more goals in each of his last six outings, posting a 3-2-1 record, 3.65 GAA and .870 save percentage along the way. While those ratios aren't great, all three of those wins came in the postseason, giving the Ducks a 3-1 series lead.

  • Radko Gudas D | ANA

Ducks' Radko Gudas: Not expected to play in Edmonton

Gudas (lower body) is expected to remain sidelined for Game 5 in Edmonton on Tuesday, per Derek Lee of The Hockey News.

Head coach Joel Quenneville relayed to the media that there are unlikely to be any lineup changes Tuesday, so Gudas is set to miss his fourth consecutive game after playing in the series opener. The right-shot blueliner wasn't present at the morning skate, and it's unclear how he is progressing in his recovery. If the Oilers stave off elimination in Game 5, the series will shift back to Anaheim for Game 6 on Thursday.

  • Ross Johnston LW | ANA

Ducks' Ross Johnston: Set to miss out versus Oilers

Johnston (lower body) is expected to remain out of the lineup versus the Oilers in Game 5 on Tuesday, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports.

Johnston has been on the shelf since March 10 versus the Jets due to his lower-body injury. Prior to getting hurt, the 32-year-old winger was mired in a seven-game pointless streak during which he managed just three shots. Even if Johnston is cleared to return, he could struggle to break back into the lineup, especially if the Ducks keep winning.

  • Golden Knights' Noah Hanifin: Two helpers in overtime win

Hanifin logged two assists and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 5-4 overtime win over the Mammoth in Game 4.

Hanifin has a pair of two-assist performances in this postseason. He's added six shots on net, five blocked shots, four hits and a plus-1 rating for the series. The 29-year-old defenseman's top-four role is secure, so he should be able to chip in fairly steady offense as long as the Golden Knights' scoring doesn't disappear.

  • Cole Smith LW | LV

Golden Knights' Cole Smith: Pots goal in Game 5

Smith scored a goal on two shots, added four PIM, dished out nine hits and blocked two shots in Monday's 5-4 overtime win over the Mammoth in Game 4.

Smith has chipped in a goal, two assists, five shots, six PIM, 20 hits and a plus-4 rating over four playoff contests. The 30-year-old winger is filling a bottom-six role, which is where he can shine through with physical play. He had eight goals, 12 points, 69 shots on net, 173 hits and 40 PIM across 63 regular-season games between Vegas and Nashville this year. This is just the second time he's been in the postseason -- he went scoreless over five games with the Predators in the 2024 playoffs.

  • Golden Knights' Pavel Dorofeyev: Opens scoring Monday

Dorofeyev scored a goal on four shots in Monday's 5-4 overtime win over the Mammoth in Game 4.

Dorofeyev had been held off the scoresheet in the first three games of the series. He was put on the top line Monday, and that connection paid off immediately as Ivan Barbashev and Jack Eichel assisted Dorofeyev's goal 1:12 into the contest. Through four playoff contests, Dorofeyev has 12 shots on net and three hits. He can be more impactful on offense -- the winger produced 37 goals, 64 points and 230 shots on net over 82 regular-season outings.

  • Mammoth's Mikhail Sergachev: Trio of helpers in Game 4 loss

Sergachev notched three assists and two blocked shots in Monday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Golden Knights in Game 4.

Sergachev stepped up on offense for the first time in this first-round series after being held off the scoresheet over the previous three games. The defenseman has added eight blocked shots, three hits, three shots on net and a plus-1 rating this postseason. In previous playoff efforts, Sergachev totaled 34 points across 100 games over seven runs with the Lightning, including back-to-back championships in 2020 and 2021. He had a total of 10 goals and 59 points over 78 regular-season outings this year.

  • Ian Cole D | UTA

Mammoth's Ian Cole: Nets goal Monday

Cole scored a goal, doled out three hits and blocked three shots in Monday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Golden Knights in Game 4.

Cole has earned two points, nine hits, 10 blocked shots and four PIM across four games in this first-round series. The veteran defenseman continues to hold down a third-pairing role, serving as a shutdown option on the Mammoth's blue line. He won't chip in a bunch of offense, but he's steady in his role and can play more minutes if there's an in-game injury to another blueliner.
