Zach Werenski D | CLB
Blue Jackets' Zach Werenski: Extends point streak to nine games
Werenski supplied two assists, fired five shots on net and dished out two hits in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Islanders.
Werenski extended his point streak to nine games, setting a new Blue Jackets franchise record for the longest point streak by a defenseman. His pair of helpers Saturday brought the superstar blueliner up to 45 assists, 65 points, 195 shots on goal and 68 blocked shots across 54 games this season. Since Dec. 11, the 28-year-old defenseman has been held off the scoresheet just two times during his 35-point, 24-game stretch of play. Werenski is making a compelling case for the Norris Trophy, which could be bolstered if the Blue Jackets make a push for a playoff spot following their sluggish start to the season.

Adam Fantilli C | CLB
Blue Jackets' Adam Fantilli: Pots game-tying goal
Fantilli scored a goal, put two shots on net and recorded four hits in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Islanders.
Despite Fantilli's tally coming near the end of the second period, it would hold up as the game-tying goal that would ultimately send the game to overtime. The 21-year-old center has a goal in both of the Blue Jackets' games since the Olympic break and is up to 15 goals, 39 points, 154 shots on net, 97 hits and 38 blocked shots across 58 games this season. While he got off to a slow start offensively to begin the campaign, he has dialed in his scoring prowess since the calendar flipped to 2026, with 14 points over his last 18 games. Fantilli has also leveled up his rate of producing category-coverage stats this season, making him an underrated option in most standard fantasy formats for the remainder of the season.

Adam Ginning D | PHI
Flyers' Adam Ginning: Back to NHL
Ginning was recalled by the Flyers from AHL Lehigh Valley on Sunday.
Ginning played five NHL games in October, but he hasn't played in one since. The 26-year-old has four points (one goal, three assists) in 31 games with AHL Lehigh Valley. He's set to rejoin the Flyers roster now, but he's unlikely to draw into the lineup this time around either.

Mason Marchment LW | CLB
Blue Jackets' Mason Marchment: Finds twine Saturday
Marchment tallied a goal, put four shots on net and dished out four hits in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Islanders.
Marchment continued his success in Columbus with the first tally of the second period to extend the Blue Jackets' lead. Since he was traded to Columbus from Seattle on Dec. 19, the 30-year-old left winger has 10 goals and 16 points in 16 games. While his overall point pace is behind the necessary pace to match his 47 points in 62 regular-season games from a year ago, he has completely revamped his game with the Blue Jackets. Marchment is a strong fantasy option in most standard leagues for the remainder of the season.

Dmitry Kulikov D | FLA
Panthers' Dmitry Kulikov: Activated from LTIR
Kulikov (upper body) was removed from long-term injured reserve Sunday, per the NHL media site.
Following a 57-game absence, Kulikov appears to be good to go for Sunday's matchup against the Islanders. The Panthers moved Cole Schwindt (lower body) to injured reserve in a corresponding move. Kulikov had four goals, 13 points, 64 shots on net, 71 blocked shots and 114 hits in 70 appearances during the 2024-25 regular season.

Isac Lundestrom C | CLB
Blue Jackets' Isac Lundestrom: Nets opening goal in loss
Lundestrom scored a goal, placed two shots on net and recorded two blocked shots in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Islanders.
Lundestrom put the Blue Jackets on the scoreboard with the lone tally of Saturday's first period. The twine finder brought him up to three goals, eight points, 36 shots on net, 22 hits and 20 blocks across 44 games this season. While he remains off the fantasy radar, he has noteworthily been more consistent in 2026 with two goals and three points across nine games.

Mathew Barzal C | NYI
Islanders' Mathew Barzal: Distributes pair of helpers
Barzal dished out two assists in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over Columbus.
Barzal recorded an apple on each of the Islanders' final two goals Saturday, including Simon Holmstrom's game-winning tally in overtime. With the pair of helpers, Barzal is up to 37 assists, 54 points, 125 shots on net and 36 blocked shots across 59 games this season. The 28-year-old forward extended his point streak to six games (four goals, six assists). He remains a strong fantasy option in all formats while leading the Islanders offensively in their hopes to claim a playoff spot in the Metropolitan Division.

Cole Schwindt RW | FLA
Panthers' Cole Schwindt: Moves to IR
Schwindt (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Sunday, per the NHL media site.
Schwindt is out indefinitely after getting injured in Thursday's 5-1 win over Toronto. He has contributed three goals, one assist, 12 shots on net, eight blocked shots and 25 hits across 22 appearances this season.

Jordan Binnington G | STL
Blues' Jordan Binnington: Losing streak at eight games
Binnington turned aside 30 of 32 shots in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Devils, with New Jersey's final goal getting scored into an empty net.
After stellar showing at the Olympics for Team Canada en route to a silver medal, Binnington returned to the St. Louis crease and immediately resumed his NHL losing streak, which now stands at eight games. During that tailspin, the veteran netminder has labored under a 4.19 GAA and .844 save percentage. With his strong international performance serving as a reminder of what a motivated Binnington can do, a trade to a playoff contender might be the only lifeline he has available to salvage his 2025-26 season.

Dougie Hamilton D | NJ
Devils' Dougie Hamilton: Pots winner on power play
Hamilton scored the game-winning goal on the power play in Saturday's 3-1 victory over the Blues.
The veteran blueliner gave the Devils a 2-0 lead with 16 seconds left in the second period as he ripped a shot from the high slot past Jordan Binnington. Hamilton has put a sluggish start to the campaign well behind him, and over the last 15 games, he's collected three goals and 13 points, including six points (two goals, four assists) with the man advantage.
