Jordan Greenway LW | BUF
Sabres' Jordan Greenway: No timeline for return
Greenway (abdomen) is trying a new treatment for his hernia injury, and it's unclear when he will return to the lineup, according to Bill Hoppe of the Olean Times Herald on Wednesday.
Greenway has been in and out of the lineup this campaign after he underwent two surgeries to attempt to solve the problem last season. In 2025-26, he has accounted for one goal, four assists, 29 shots on net, 15 blocked shots and 48 hits across 33 appearances.

Zach Benson LW | BUF
Sabres' Zach Benson: Set to miss road trip
Benson (upper body) is not expected to return during the Sabres' three-game road trip, Rachel Lenzi of The Buffalo News reports Monday.
Benson was already ruled out against the Devils on Wednesday, but it seems his absence will linger a little longer. Considering the 20-year-old winger has already missed two games due to his upper-body problem, fantasy managers can likely expect him to be designated for injured reserve prior to Wednesday's contest to clear roster space for the return of Josh Norris (ribs).

Josh Norris C | BUF
Sabres' Josh Norris: Will be available Wednesday
Head coach Lindy Ruff said Monday that Norris (ribs) will be available for Wednesday's game against New Jersey, Rachel Lenzi of The Buffalo News reports.
Norris has been sidelined since mid-January due to his rib injury, but he's been cleared to suit up in the Sabres' first game following the Olympic break. Over 19 appearances with Buffalo this year, Norris has racked up six goals, 11 assists, 11 blocked shots and six hits while averaging 15:57 of ice time.

Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen G | BUF
Sabres' Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen: In contention Wednesday
Luukkonen (lower body) will be an option for Wednesday's road game versus the Devils, Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550 reports.
Head coach Lindy Ruff wouldn't go so far as to confirm that Luukkonen will get the starting nod, but he will at least be available to serve as the backup to Alex Lyon if nothing else. In his last 10 appearances, the Finnish backstop is sporting a 6-2-1 record, a 2.73 GAA and a .912 save percentage. The Sabres' upcoming three-game road trip includes a back-to-back, so fantasy managers can expect him to feature sooner rather than later.

Domenic Divincentiis G | WPG
Jets' Domenic DiVincentiis: Elevated from minors
DiVincentiis was called up from AHL Manitoba on Monday.
DiVincentiis will link up with the Jets until Connor Hellebuyck rejoins the team after celebrating Team USA's win over Canada for the gold medal. With the team playing Wednesday against Vancouver, it's possible that DiVincentiis serves as the backup to Eric Comrie to give Hellebuyck more time to meet up with the club.

Garin Bjorklund G | WAS
Capitals' Garin Bjorklund: Assigned to AHL
Bjorklund was loaned to AHL Hershey on Monday.
Washington activated Charlie Lindgren (lower body) from injured reserve in a corresponding move. Bjorklund has posted a 4-5-3 record with a 3.47 GAA and an .881 save percentage in 12 AHL appearances this season. He has also gone 4-2-0 with a 2.37 GAA and a .929 save percentage in seven outings for ECHL South Carolina during the 2025-26 campaign.

Linus Ullmark G | OTT
Senators' Linus Ullmark: Good to go following Olympic break
Ullmark (illness) should be healthy for the Senators following the Olympic break, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Citizen reports.
Ullmark missed time in January due to personal reasons and was unavailable for the Senators' final game before the Olympic break due to flu-like symptoms. However, he's moved past his illness and should have an opportunity to see plenty of playing time for Ottawa down the stretch. Across 30 appearances this year, he's gone 16-8-5 with a 2.86 GAA and .884 save percentage.
-
Charlie Lindgren G | WAS
Capitals' Charlie Lindgren: Removed from IR
Lindgren (lower body) was activated from injured reserve Monday, per the NHL media site.
As expected, Lindgren will be available for Wednesday's home matchup against Philadelphia following a four-game absence. He has gone 8-6-3 this season with one shutout, a 3.37 GAA and an .884 save percentage through 18 appearances.
-
Stephen Halliday C | OTT
Senators' Stephen Halliday: Called up from minors
Halliday was recalled from AHL Belleville on Monday.
Halliday has appeared in 25 games for the Senators during his rookie campaign, notching four goals, seven helpers and 27 shots along the way. If Brady Tkachuk isn't back from his participation in the Winter Olympics, there could be open spots in the lineup for both Halliday and fellow call-up Tyler Boucher against the Red Wings on Thursday.

Blake Lizotte C | PIT
Penguins' Blake Lizotte: Practices Sunday
Lizotte (personal) was back on the ice with the team Sunday, Seth Rorabaugh of Tribune-Review Sports reports.
Lizotte missed the final game before the Olympic break while awaiting the birth of his child, but he was back on the ice for Sunday's session. With Lizotte in the lineup, he figures to rejoin Connor Dewar and Noel Acciari on the fourth line and should see decent penalty-kill minutes.
