  • Red Wings' Sebastian Cossa: Notches fifth shutout

Cossa posted a 26-save shutout in AHL Grand Rapids' 5-0 win over Texas on Sunday.

Cossa improved to 21-4-2 with five shutouts, a 1.92 GAA and a .930 save percentage in 27 games this season. He went just 3-3-1 in January, but he's bounced back with three straight wins to start February. Given Cossa's improvements this season in his third AHL campaign, the 23-year-old is likely ready to compete for a full-time NHL gig in 2026-27.

  • Bradly Nadeau LW | CAR

Hurricanes' Bradly Nadeau: Buries two goals in AHL win

Nadeau scored twice in AHL Chicago's 3-2 win over Colorado on Sunday.

Nadeau reached the 20-goal mark on the year with this effort. The 20-year-old forward has slowed down from his sizzling pace in late January but still has three goals and three assists over his last six outings. Nadeau has earned 44 points, 116 shots on net and a plus-24 rating over 36 appearances. Sunday was his 100th AHL game.

  • Hurricanes' Frederik Andersen: Gets Denmark's first Games win

Andersen made 33 saves for Denmark on Sunday in a 4-2 win over Latvia at the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026.

It was Denmark's first win of the Games and first at an Olympics involving NHL players. Andersen put up a strong performance, and he will likely be in net Tuesday when Denmark faces Czechia in the qualification playoffs.

  • Kevin Fiala LW | LA

Kings' Kevin Fiala: Not ruled out for postseason

Fiala (lower leg fracture) will be reevaluated at the end of the regular season, the Kings announced Sunday.

Fiala has not yet been ruled out of the playoffs, though the Kings are in a precarious position, sitting three points out of a playoff spot at the Olympic break. Fiala sustained a lower-leg fracture Friday in Switzerland's Olympic group-stage game versus Canada, and the injury required surgery. Expect the Kings to place Fiala on long-term injured reserve eventually to free up some cap space. Fantasy managers in redraft leagues can cut Fiala at this point since he won't be back before mid-April at the earliest.

  • Mark Stone RW | LV

Golden Knights' Mark Stone: Three points including GWG

Stone scored a shorthanded goal and added two assists, one on the power play, in Canada's 10-2 rout of France during Olympic round-robin play Sunday.

The Golden Knights winger gave Canada a 3-1 lead just before the first intermission, with his tally proving to be the game-winner, before having a hand in goals by Sidney Crosby in the second period and Macklin Celebrini in the third. Stone is having a strong tournament in his first Olympics, scoring two goals and four points in three games, and he'll look to add to those totals when Canada faces the winner of a Czechia-Denmark qualifying tilt in Wednesday's quarterfinal.

  • Blue Jackets' Brendan Gaunce: Logs three points for Cleveland

Gaunce scored the game-winning goal and added two assists in AHL Cleveland's 4-3 overtime win over Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Sunday.

Gaunce has four goals and four assists over eight outings with the Monsters since he was demoted from the Blue Jackets in late January. The veteran forward has 14 points in 19 appearances at the AHL level and another six points in 25 games at the NHL level. Should the Blue Jackets need forward depth after the Olympic break, Gaunce would likely be near the top of the list for a call-up.

  • Oilers' Connor McDavid: Three more points in rout

McDavid scored a goal and added two assists, one on the power play, in Canada's 10-2 win over France in Olympic round-robin play Sunday.

McDavid wraps up the preliminary round at his first Olympics with two goals and nine points in just three games, putting him well out in front as the tournament's leading scorer -- nobody else has more than six points. The Oilers superstar will get a couple days of rest before Canada faces the winner of a Czechia-Denmark qualifying tilt in Wednesday's quarterfinal.

  • Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Three points against France

Crosby scored a goal and added two assists, one on the power play, in Canada's 10-2 rout of France in Olympic round-robin action Sunday.

The future Hall of Famer doubled his goal and point totals for the tournament, as Crosby set up tallies by Devon Toews in the first period and Cale Makar in the second before potting his own just before the second intermission. Crosby will get a couple days of rest before Canada faces the winner of a Czechia-Denmark qualifying tilt in Wednesday's quarterfinal.

  • Devils' Marc McLaughlin: Picks up three points in AHL win

McLaughlin scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Utica's 7-4 win over Rochester on Sunday.

McLaughlin was waived Feb. 11 and cleared a day later. This was his season debut at any level after missing the first four months of the campaign due to an undisclosed injury. McLaughlin had just 20 points in 50 regular-season contests between Utica and Providence last season, and he also earned three points in a career-high 14 NHL outings between Boston and New Jersey.

  • Devils' Brian Halonen: Three points in Comets' win

Halonen scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Utica's 7-4 win over Rochester on Sunday.

Halonen snapped a four-game slump, his longest of the season at the AHL level, with this performance. He's up to 15 goals, six assists and a plus-6 rating over 28 appearances. Even with time in the NHL this season, Halonen could still match his 40-point performance from 62 AHL games in the 2024-25 regular season.
