  • Wild's Jared Spurgeon: Delivers game-winner in overtime

Spurgeon scored the game-winning goal, added four hits and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 6-5 overtime win over the Predators.

Spurgeon has two goals and an assist over his last five games. The 36-year-old defenseman secured the win 4:14 into overtime Wednesday, ending a back-and-forth game. For the season, he's produced six goals, 17 points, 69 shots on net, 108 blocked shots, 70 hits and a minus-1 rating over 58 appearances while seeing steady top-four minutes.

  • Yakov Trenin C | MIN

Wild's Yakov Trenin: Puts away goal Wednesday

Trenin scored a goal on seven shots, added four hits and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 6-5 overtime win over the Predators.

Trenin has three points, nine shots on net and 25 hits over his last five games. The 29-year-old is up to five goals, 17 points, 66 shots on net, 286 hits, 30 blocked shots, 25 PIM and a plus-11 rating over 58 appearances this season. He's on pace to get back to the 20-point mark for the first time in three years, and he's already set a career high in hits.

  • Avalanche's Artturi Lehkonen: Scores two goals Wednesday

Lehkonen scored two goals and took five shots in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Sharks.

Lehkonen found the back of the net for the first time since Jan. 21, and this was the first time he scored two goals in a single game since Nov. 9. The 30-year-old winger should have plenty of opportunities to produce as long as he continues to skate in the same line as Nathan MacKinnon. Lehkonen has been productive with 42 points (19 goals, 23 assists) in 55 contests so far this season.

  • Sharks' Philipp Kurashev: Scores in loss to Colorado

Kurashev scored a goal in Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Avalanche.

Kurashev recorded an assist in the loss to the Blackhawks on Monday and now scored a goal in the loss to Colorado, so he'll enter the Olympic break on a strong note. The 26-year-old winger missed time with an upper-body injury that sidelined him for 19 games between Dec. 16 and Jan. 29, but even if he stays healthy after the break, his bottom-six role will probably limit his fantasy upside.

  • Kings' Mikey Anderson: Placed on injured reserve

Anderson was put on injured reserve Thursday, per the NHL media site.

Anderson missed Wednesday's game against Seattle and will sit out Thursday in Vegas as well. The 26-year-old blueliner has two goals and seven assists in 54 games, including just two helpers in his last 26 appearances.

  • Filip Forsberg LW | NSH

Predators' Filip Forsberg: Another two-point outing

Forsberg recorded a power-play goal and a power-play assist in Wednesday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Wild.

This was Forsberg's third consecutive game with two points, and he's cracked the scoresheet in eight of his last 10 contests. The star winger also extended his scoring streak to four games, and with 24 goals and 23 assists, he's well on pace to hover around the 70-point mark if he stays healthy. Forsberg has reached that threshold in three of his last four seasons.

  • Predators' Steven Stamkos: Three points in OT loss

Stamkos recorded a power-play goal and two even-strength assists in Wednesday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Wild.

Stamkos will have another chance to continue his impressive streak Thursday against the Capitals. Still, the veteran forward is entering the Olympic break on a hot streak since he has cracked the scoresheet in six of his last seven contests, tallying 11 points (seven goals, four assists) in that span. Stamkos had a slow start to the campaign, but the star winger has been scorching hot of late. He has 18 points (10 goals, eight helpers) in 17 games since the beginning of January.

  • Wild's Vladimir Tarasenko: Pots goal Wednesday

Tarasenko notched a goal and took five shots in Wednesday's 6-5 overtime win over the Predators.

Tarasenko has found the back of the net in two of his last three appearances, and the veteran winger has been trending in the right direction of late. Tarasenko has scored 15 goals this season, but seven of those -- and 11 of his 31 points -- have come since the beginning of January.

  • Matt Boldy LW | MIN

Wild's Matt Boldy: Nets hat trick Wednesday

Boldy recorded a hat trick, including a power-play goal, and added an assist in Wednesday's 6-5 overtime win over the Predators.

Boldy has been on fire since returning from a four-game absence in mid-January due to a lower-body injury. The star winger has five goals and 11 total points over his last six outings, a span in which he's also racked up four PIM, a plus-2 rating, 16 shots on goal -- along with an incredibly high 31.3 shooting percentage -- and eight hits.

  • Avalanche's Mackenzie Blackwood: Solid display in win Wednesday

Blackwood stopped 23 of 25 shots in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Sharks.

Blackwood will enter the Olympic break on a high note following this win, and even though his recent record is subpar, it seems the 29-year-old is turning things around. Despite going 3-4-0 over his last seven starts, Blackwood has allowed two or fewer goals in four of his last five appearances while posting a 1.42 GAA and a .947 save percentage over that stretch.
