Twins' Alejandro De Aza: Sidelined at Triple-A
De Aza was placed on Triple-A Rochester's 7-day injured list Sunday with a right hand contusion, Brandon Warne of ZoneCoverage.com reports.
The Twins plucked De Aza from the independent-ball ranks in mid-July and assigned him to Rochester, where he slashed .333/.410/.588 across 102 at-bats before being shut down with the injury. Though a bruised hand doesn't sound like an especially severe injury, it may end any chance the 35-year-old had of receiving a September callup.

Twins' Alejandro De Aza: Joins Minnesota on MiLB deal
De Aza signed a minor-league deal with the Twins on Wednesday, Brandon Warne of ZoneCoverage.com reports.
De Aza had an .807 OPS in 32 games at Triple-A last season after failing to make the Opening Day roster with the Nationals. The 35-year-old has not played affiliated baseball this season and has a .260/.325/.396 slash line over a 10-year major-league career.

Nationals' Alejandro De Aza: Re-signs with Nationals
De Aza signed a minor-league deal to remain with the Nationals, Chris Cotillo of SB Nation reports Monday.
The Nationals released De Aza over the weekend, but will keep him around as organizational depth in the outfield. He mustered just a .547 OPS in 28 games for the Nationals in 2017, so only expect him up in an emergency.

Alejandro De Aza: Released by Nationals
De Aza was released by the Nationals on Saturday, Chris Cotillo of SB Nation reports.
The 33-year-old De Aza spent all of the 2017 season in the Nationals' organization, making 28 appearances for the big club and hitting just .194/.224/.323. He'll look to latch on elsewhere, though he doesn't figure to serve as anything more than organizational depth wherever he lands.

Nationals' Alejandro De Aza: Minors deal with Nationals
De Aza signed a minor-league contract with the Nationals on Friday, Mark Zuckerman of MASN Sports reports.
Zuckerman went out of his way to note that this deal does not officially include an invite to big-league camp, although he will be on the bench for Friday's game. De Aza spent all of 2017 in the Nationals' organization, getting 70 plate appearances in the majors (29 wRC+) and 212 plate appearances at Triple-A (119 wRC+). He will serve as organizational depth and is unlikely to gain fantasy relevance.

Nationals' Alejandro De Aza: Picks up third consecutive start
De Aza will start in right field and lead off Tuesday against the Astros, Chelsea Janes of The Washington Post reports.
Until the Nationals bring back one of their injured outfielders from the disabled list, it appears that De Aza could be a fixture in the lineup. He'll draw his third consecutive start Tuesday after opening his Nationals career with a 1-for-8 showing at the dish.

Nationals' Alejandro De Aza: Recalled by Washington on Wednesday
The Nationals selected De Aza's contract from Triple-A Syracuse prior to Wednesday's game against the Angels, Chelsea Janes of The Washington Post reports.
With Brian Goodwin (groin) landing on the 10-day disabled list, De Aza is set to make his first major-league appearance of the 2017 season in the coming days. He's played 56 games for Syracuse since signing a minor-league deal in mid-June, hitting .280/.368/.403 during his time with the club. De Aza will provide depth at all three outfield positions, which is a necessity for a Nationals team that has lost Goodwin and Bryce Harper (knee) in recent days.

Nationals' Alejandro De Aza: Heading to Nationals on MiLB pact
De Aza signed a minor-league contract with the Nationals on Wednesday, Kevin Brown of ESPN Radio reports.
The 33-year-old left the Athletics at the end of spring training after not breaking camp with the big-league club, but he'll get a new opportunity in the Nationals' organization. He had a down year with the Mets last season, as he batted just .205 in 234 at-bats, but he can play all three outfield spots and could receive a callup to the big leagues if the Nationals' outfield gets even more depleted.
