  • Mariners' Dylan Moore: Productive on bases Saturday

Moore went 0-for-3 with a walk, a hit-by-pitch, a stolen base and two runs in a win over the Rangers on Saturday. Moore managed to still make an impact during a hitless effort, ringing up his 31st steal of the campaign and scoring on both occasions during which he reached safely. The 32-year-old has hit just .214 over 35 plate appearances in September, but he boasts a .343 on-base percentage in that same span thanks largely to a 14.3 percent walk rate.

  • Mariners' Dylan Moore: Reaches 30 steals Thursday

Moore went 1-for-2 with two walks and a stolen base in a win over the Yankees on Thursday. Moore had his most active game offensively since Sept. 4 by getting on base three times, and he added his 30th steal of the campaign. Despite Thursday's busy night, Moore has had an unremarkable month thus far, hitting .250 with two extra-base hits, four RBI, four walks, two stolen bases and two runs across 29 plate appearances over 13 games in September.

  • Mariners' Dylan Moore: Lifts 10th homer Friday

Moore went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in a win over the Cardinals on Friday. Moore slugged a two-run shot in the sixth inning to extend the Mariners' lead to 3-0, giving him his second straight two-RBI effort. The round tripper also snapped a 31-game homerless drought for Moore, who'd last left the yard July 26. The veteran sports a .701 OPS for the season despite the drag of a .205 average, as he's knocked 36 of his 69 hits for extra bases and sports an 11.0 percent walk rate.

  • Mariners' Dylan Moore: Swipes bag, drives in two

Moore went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI, a stolen base and a run scored in Wednesday's win over Oakland. Moore drove home Luis Urias with a two-out RBI single in the fourth before going on to swipe his 29th bag of the campaign and his sixth over his last 10 games (though he only started in eight of those contests). The utility man would later add a double and a sacrifice fly during a seven-run seventh inning for Seattle, marking his second-straight start in which he logged multiple hits. Moore has also hit safely in four of his last six starts, batting .352 (6-for-17) over those games with three doubles, two RBI and five runs scored.

  • Mariners' Dylan Moore: Returning to bench Sunday

Moore is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels. Moore had started each of the last four games while going 3-for-11 with two doubles and a stolen base, but he'll retreat to the bench while the Angels send right-hander Caden Dana to the hill. The utility man should continue to pick up regular starts against left-handed pitching, but his playing time versus righties may be more sporadic in September.

  • Mariners' Dylan Moore: Productive in Saturday's loss

Moore went 2-for-4 with a double, a stolen base and a run in a loss to the Angels on Saturday. The veteran slotted in at the keystone and delivered his second double in the last three games as part of his first multi-hit effort since Aug. 9. Moore also recorded his career-high 28th steal following his fourth-inning single, allowing him to close out August with an impressive eight pilfers in 11 attempts across 23 games. Moore's defensive versatility and above-average pop should continue affording him near-everyday playing time during the final month of the regular season.

  • Mariners' Dylan Moore: Moves into short-side platoon role

Moore is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Rays. Though he initially picked up most of the starts at shortstop after J.P. Crawford (finger) landed on the injured list July 23, Moore has since shifted into more of a utility role. He made both of his last two starts against left-handed pitching while seeing time in left field and at third base, and Moore has been held out of the lineup entirely in four consecutive matchups with right-handed pitchers. The Mariners seem content to roll with Leo Rivas their primary option at shortstop until Crawford is ready to return from the IL.

  • Mariners' Dylan Moore: Goes wild on basepaths Sunday

Moore went 1-for-2 with two walks, three stolen bases and a run in a win over the Giants on Sunday. Moore put together a signature leadoff performance, serving as a consistent irritant for Giants pitchers throughout the afternoon while swiping a career-high three bases. Moore is an impressive 27-for-32 overall in steal attempts this season, and he's now reached safely in four straight games. Sunday marked only his fourth appearance atop the order this season, but given the results, he could conceivably get more run as the leadoff hitter the rest of the way under new manager Dan Wilson.

  • Mariners' Dylan Moore: Records steal as pinch runner

Moore entered Friday's extra-inning victory over the Giants as a pinch runner in the bottom of the 10th inning, recording a stolen base and the game-winning run. Moore opened the 10th as the phantom runner and swiped third base, putting him in prime position to subsequently score the game-winning run on Leo Rivas' single. Moore has been mostly quiet at the plate of late -- he came into Friday mired in a 2-for-20 skid over his previous nine games -- but he's now up to a career-high 24 stolen bases on the season and has belted over half of his 62 hits for extra bases.

  • Mariners' Dylan Moore: Absent from Sunday's lineup

Moore is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates. Moore struck out in all four at-bats in Saturday's 7-2 loss to Pittsburgh. Leo Rivas will start at shortstop and bat ninth against Pirates right-hander Jake Woodford.

  • Mariners' Dylan Moore: New career high in steals

Moore went 0-for-3 with a hit-by-pitch and a stolen base in a loss to the Tigers on Thursday. Moore took advantage of his lone time on the basepaths to record his 22nd steal of the campaign, a new career high. The versatile veteran finished July on a six-game hitting streak, but his bat has gone cold in August to the tune of a .118/.268/.147 slash line and 34.1 percent strikeout rate across 41 plate appearances (11 games).

  • Mariners' Dylan Moore: Multi-hit effort in win

Moore went 2-for-4 with a run in a win over the Mets on Friday. Moore generated the only multi-hit effort of the night for the Mariners, accomplishing the feat for the first time since July 30. The veteran's bat had been very quiet since then, with Moore posting an anemic .091 average (2-for-22) with no extra-base hits, one RBI and a 33.3 percent strikeout rate in the seven games prior to Friday.

  • Mariners' Dylan Moore: Drives in three Tuesday

Moore went 2-for-3 with a three-run double, another two-bagger, a stolen base and a walk in a win over the Red Sox on Tuesday. The hot-hitting Moore delivered a clutch double in the fifth inning with the Mariners having just forged a one-run lead, driving home Jorge Polanco, Victor Robles (hip) and Randy Arozarena. The double pushed Moore's RBI total to seven over his last five games, while also extending his hitting streak to five games. The 31-year-old has started putting good wood on the ball again following a quiet stretch earlier in July, as he's laced four doubles in the last three contests alone.

  • Mariners' Dylan Moore: Lifts ninth homer Friday

Moore went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in a win over the White Sox on Friday. Moore uncorked the second of three straight first-inning home runs for the Mariners, slugging a 392-foot shot to left center for his ninth long ball of the season. The big hit snapped a rare 22-game homerless drought for Moore, while also serving as a temporary reprieve from the 1-for-13 skid that had encompassed his previous five games.

  • Mariners' Dylan Moore: Settling in at shortstop

Moore will start at shortstop and bat ninth in Wednesday's game against the Angels. Moore will make a fifth consecutive start and his second straight at shortstop, which will likely be his primary home for the foreseeable future while J.P. Crawford is on the shelf with a fractured hand. Though his 28.7 percent strikeout rate has played a major part in suppressing his batting average (.206), Moore brings an intriguing blend of pop and speed to the table. Despite not being a full-time player throughout the season, Moore has already tallied eight home runs and 17 stolen bases over his 286 plate appearances.

  • Mariners' Dylan Moore: Laces key triple in win

Moore went 1-for-2 with a two-run triple and a walk in a win over the Astros on Sunday. He was also caught stealing on his only attempt. The slugging veteran came into the day with just a single extra-base hit -- another three-bagger -- in his previous 16 games, but he snapped that rare drought with a second-inning laser that plated Josh Rojas and Luke Raley to give the Mariners an early 2-0 lead. The two RBI were also Moore's first since June 22, and despite Sunday's success, he's still carrying a .212 batting average that has plenty of room for improvement.

  • Mariners' Dylan Moore: Another steal in Sunday's loss

Moore went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in a loss to the Angels on Sunday. Moore reached safely for the fourth time in his last five starts and recorded his fourth steal over the last eight games in the process. The veteran heads into the All-Star break with a serviceable .714 OPS, but the extra-base hits that have played a large role in that figure and become his calling card have surprisingly dried up of late. Moore has just one hit greater than a single in his last 15 games, and he heads into the pause in play with a 17-game home-run drought.

  • Mariners' Dylan Moore: Grabs 16th steal Wednesday

Moore went 1-for-3 with a stolen base in a win over the Padres on Wednesday. Moore delivered one of the Mariners' four singles on the night and also continued inching closer to surpassing the career-high 21 steals he recorded in both 2021 and 2022 by swiping his 16th bag of the campaign. Moore has also hit safely in four consecutive starts, but his .213 average still leaves plenty to be desired.

  • Mariners' Dylan Moore: Notches steal in win

Moore went 1-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Friday's 2-1 win over the Blue Jays. Moore has gone just 2-for-14 with two walks over his last seven games. The versatile 31-year-old continues to offer speed when in the lineup for the Mariners -- he's 14-for-16 on stolen base attempts this season, including a perfect 6-for-6 since the start of June. Getting on base is another story, as he's hitting just .207 with a .315 on-base percentage, eight home runs, 26 RBI, 31 runs scored, 14 doubles and three triples across 72 contests.

  • Mariners' Dylan Moore: Likely bound for reserve role

Moore is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Rays. The versatile Moore should retain a regular spot in the Seattle lineup against left-handed pitching, but his opportunities to play against righties should take a sizable hit with Jorge Polanco (hamstring) making his return from the injured list Monday. Moore had already seen his streak of nine consecutive starts come to an end in Sunday's 6-4 loss to the Marlins, when manager Scott Servais opted to move him to the bench against Miami right-hander Kyle Tyler.
