Rockies' Jaden Hill: Added to roster
The Rockies selected Hill's contract from Triple-A Albuquerque on Thursday.
Hill, a second-round pick in the 2021 First-Year Player Draft, became a full-time reliever this season and has posted a 4.57 ERA and 69:17 K:BB over 45.1 innings between Double-A Hartford and Albuquerque. He has the potential to be a high-leverage reliever for the Rockies, but Hill will likely work in low-leverage spots initially. When/if he gets into a game, it will be Hill's major-league debut.
