Twins' Blayne Enlow: Issuing free passes at Double-A
Enlow (elbow) has turned in a 4.70 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 35:19 K:BB in 30.2 innings over his nine appearances (seven starts) for Double-A Wichita since returning from the 7-day injured list May 14.
Enlow missed the first month of the 2022 campaign while rehabbing from the Tommy John procedure he required in early June of 2021. His 12.8 percent walk rate is his worst mark over his five minor-league seasons.

Twins' Blayne Enlow: Opening year at Double-A
The Twins optioned Enlow (elbow) to Double-A Wichita on Wednesday, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.
Though Enlow was in attendance for the Twins' big-league camp, he was limited to rehab work while he continues to recover from the Tommy John procedure he underwent last June. If the 23-year-old righty is cleared to pitch in 2022, it likely won't happen until the second half of the season, and he'll presumably have to head out on an extended rehab assignment in the lower levels of the minors. Once he's fully built up his pitch count, however, Enlow looks like he'll be part of the Double-A rotation after he finished the 2021 campaign at High-A Cedar Rapids.
