Marlins' Andrew Pintar: Dealt to Marlins
The Marlins acquired Pintar and Deyvison De Los Santos from the Diamondbacks on Thursday in exchange for A.J. Puk, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.
Pintar has split his 2024 campaign between High-A Hillsboro and Double-A Amarillo. He's shown a decent blend of power and speed by tallying nine home runs and 18 stolen bases in 67 total games. Pintar is likely to report to Double-A Pensacola with his new organization.

Diamondbacks' Andrew Pintar: Kicks off rehab assignment
Pintar (ankle) began a rehab assignment in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League on Saturday and went 0-for-1 with two walks and a run in his return to the lineup.
Pintar served as the designated hitter and logged three appearances before checking out of the contest in what marked his first game action since April 25. The 22-year-old remains on Single-A Visalia's 60-day injured list while working his way back from an ankle issue, but he'll likely require only a few more rehab games in the ACL before he makes his return to the California League.

Diamondbacks' Andrew Pintar: Out with ankle injury
Pintar has been on the 60-day injured list with Single-A Visalia due to an ankle injury, Baseball America reports.
He rolled his ankle charging a ball on April 25, and it was apparently a pretty serious sprain for him to miss over two months. Pintar slashed .241/.328/.370 with one home run and two steals in 14 games at Single-A prior to the injury.

Diamondbacks' Andrew Pintar: Healthy to open 2023 campaign
Pintar (shoulder) has appeared in four games with Single-A Visalia so far this season and has gone 2-for-14 with a walk.
Pintar, whom the Diamondbacks selected with the No. 138 overall pick in the 2022 First-Year Player Draft, didn't make his professional debut last summer while he recovered from the shoulder surgery he underwent earlier that year in March. Now more than a year removed from the procedure, Pintar is seemingly healthy again, given that the Diamondbacks chose not to have him stick around at extended spring training.
