  • Rockies' Jordan Beck: Activated and optioned

The Rockies reinstated Beck (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list Sunday and optioned him to Triple-A Albuquerque.

With no room for him in their crowded outfield, the Rockies will keep the 25-year-old in the minors after he recovered from a hamstring strain. Before being shelved May 18, Beck contributed a .183/.227/.305 slash line with one home run and two stolen bases over 88 big-league plate appearances while mostly serving as a short-side platoon player.

  • Rockies' Jordan Beck: Cleared for rehab assignment

Beck (hamstring) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Albuquerque on Tuesday, Kevin Henry of The Denver Gazette reports.

Beck has been shelved since mid-May with a left hamstring strain but is ready to test things out in a game setting. Since he's missed more than a month of action, Beck is likely to require a handful of rehab contests before returning to the Rockies' active roster.

  • Rockies' Jordan Beck: Progressing in recovery

Beck (hamstring) stretched and did running drills prior to Tuesday's game against the Cubs, MLB.com reports.

Beck has yet to resume fielding drills -- one of the the final steps in his recovery prior to beginning a rehab assignment. There is no specific timeline for his return, though it appears he could realistically be activated by late June or early July.

  • Rockies' Jordan Beck: Resumes throwing

Beck (hamstring) has resumed throwing on the field, MLB.com reports.

Beck has been cleared to run and throw, but he has no additional activity scheduled beyond that. His timeline for a return remains unclear.

  • Rockies' Jordan Beck: Starts up running program

Beck (hamstring) was able to begin a running progression this past week, MLB.com reports.

Beck was placed on the 10-day injured list May 18 due to a left hamstring injury, but the fact that he's running again likely indicates that he's working his way back from a low-grade strain. Once he's running the bases at full speed, Beck may need only a brief minor-league rehab assignment before returning from the IL.

  • Rockies' Jordan Beck: Lands on shelf

Beck was placed on the 10-day injured list Monday with a left hamstring injury, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

It's not clear as to when Beck picked up the hamstring injury, but he'll be forced to miss at least the next 10 days while on the mend. Braxton Fulford was recalled in a corresponding move.

  • Rockies' Jordan Beck: Stuck in short-side role

Beck went 1-for-4 with a double and an RBI on Saturday against Atlanta.

Beck remains limited to a short-side platoon role, though he has seen an uptick in playing time of late with Colorado facing three lefties in the last four games. He delivered the only run of the game for the Rockies with a double in the third inning. Beck has struggled when given an opportunity this season, so he isn't likely to see his playing time tick up in the immediate future.

  • Rockies' Jordan Beck: Nabs second steal

Beck went 1-for-1 with one RBI, a walk and a stolen base in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Padres.

Beck has been on the bench to begin four of the Rockies' last five games, all against right-handed pitchers. That suggests he's slipped into a short-side platoon role in the outfield, which will make it tough for him to get steady playing time without better results at the plate. He's hitting just .115 with five RBI, one run scored and two stolen bases on three attempts over 29 plate appearances this season. Beck stole 19 bases on 27 attempts in 2025, so he does provide some speed off the bench as well as a right-handed bat to bring in against lefty relievers.

  • Rockies' Jordan Beck: Heading to bench Monday

Beck is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Astros.

Beck will hit the bench for the second time in four games while the Rockies go with an outfield configuration of Jake McCarthy, Brenton Doyle and Troy Johnston from left to right. Johnston will be making his seventh consecutive start and may have settled into a near-everyday role at this point, which could result in Beck becoming more of a part-time player. Beck hasn't helped his case for earning regular at-bats by getting off to a 2-for-22 start to the season at the dish.

  • Rockies' Jordan Beck: Taking seat Friday

Beck is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Phillies.

Beck has gone 2-for-16 with a double, a stolen base and four RBI through five games this season and will head to the bench for Friday's series opener versus Philadelphia. Mickey Moniak (finger) was reinstated from the injured list and is starting in place of Beck.

  • Rockies' Jordan Beck: Grabbing seat Tuesday

Beck is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game in Toronto.

It's the second day off this season already for Beck, who is 2-for-11 with a 2:2 BB:K in the first three contests of the season. Troy Johnston will grab a start in right field Tuesday in Beck's place.
