Duran tossed a perfect inning and earned the save in Saturday's win over the Brewers. He struck out one.
Duran is on the verge of reaching at least 20 saves for the fourth consecutive season, and he should be able to hit that mark before the All-Star break. One of the best closers in the National League, Duran has gone 18-for-19 in save chances while posting a 1.90 ERA and 0.97 WHIP across 23.2 innings and 25 appearances this season.

After blowing his first save of the season Tuesday versus Toronto, Duran was shaky again Wednesday but managed to hold on for a scoreless save. Phillies' Jhoan Duran: Blows first save of 2026
Duran (1-3) blew the save and took the loss in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to Toronto, allowing two runs on three hits while failing to record an out.
Duran was brought out to close things out after the Phillies took a 2-1 lead in the top of the ninth. The right-hander had converted each of his first 16 save chances of the season, but he did not have that same success in Toronto. The game was tied at 2-2 on a wild pitch that brought Myles Straw home before Duran yielded a walk-off single to Brandon Valenzuela. This marks the first time this season that Duran has given up multiple earned runs, and he now sits at a 2.08 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 33:5 K:BB across 21.2 innings.

Duran earned a save over the Blue Jays on Monday, allowing one hit over a scoreless inning.
Duran had a three-run lead to work with when he entered in the ninth frame and needed just nine pitches to record three outs. The fireballing right-hander notched his eighth straight scoreless outing, and he's converted all 16 of his save opportunities this season. Duran recorded a career-high 32 regular-season saves last year, and he's currently on pace to exceed that mark. His 1.25 ERA and 0.83 WHIP are also tracking toward career-best numbers.

He's racked up 11 saves this season, including six in May while allowing just two runs with an 18:5 K:BB over 10 innings this month. Duran picked up the save in Monday's 3-0 victory over the Padres. He allowed a hit and no walks while striking out one over a scoreless inning.
Duran retired the side with minimal resistance, as a Ty France two-out single was all the Padres could muster while the fireballing right-hander secured his 10th save of the campaign. It has largely been dominance in 2026 for Duran, who has allowed runs in just three of his 16 outings, resulting in a 1.72 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 24:5 K:BB across 15.2 innings with no blown saves. He trails only Mason Miller (16), Riley O'Brien (13) and Paul Sewald (12) on the National League saves leaderboard.

It was Duran's first save since being activated from the injured list last week after he missed nearly a month with an oblique issue. Phillies' Jhoan Duran: Reinstated from injured list
The Phillies activated Duran (oblique) from the 15-day injured list Tuesday, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.
Duran is ready to rejoin the Phillies' bullpen after missing more than three weeks of action with a left oblique strain. The hard-throwing right-hander did not go out on a rehab assignment, but he should nonetheless go directly back into the closer role for Philadelphia.
