  • Dodgers' Paul Gervase: Optioned to Triple-A

Gervase was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Monday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Gervase fared well during his time with the big-league club this spring, as he turned in a 2.89 ERA and 0.86 WHIP with 11 strikeouts over 9.1 frames. However, it wasn't enough to earn himself a spot on the Opening Day roster. Gervase is in line to begin the 2026 campaign at Triple-A Oklahoma City, where he'll serve as bullpen depth.

The Dodgers optioned Gervase to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday.

Gervase was recalled Wednesday and was put to work in the team's loss to the Rockies later that night, allowing one run over a two-inning relief appearance. He'll give up his spot on the active roster and in the bullpen to Matt Sauer, who was recalled from Triple-A ahead of Thursday's series finale in Colorado.

  • Dodgers' Paul Gervase: Sent to Triple-A

The Dodgers optioned Gervase to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday.

Gervase will lose his place in the Dodgers' bullpen in order to make room for Blake Snell (shoulder), who returned from the injured list ahead of his start Saturday against the Rays. Gervase surrendered three earned runs over 6.1 innings during his time in Tampa Bay and could make his Dodgers debut later in the year when the team is in need of a fresh reliever.

  • Dodgers' Paul Gervase: Traded to Dodgers

The Rays traded Gervase to the Dodgers on Wednesday as part of a three-team deal with the Rays and Reds, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.

Additionally, the Rays will send Ben Rortvedt to Los Angeles for Hunter Feduccia while also trading Zack Littell to Cincinnati for Brian Van Belle. The 25-year-old Gervase has made five appearances for the Rays this season, surrendering three earned runs over 6.1 innings while striking out six batters and walking five. Given the state of the Dodgers' pitching staff, there's a chance he'll stick around in the majors, though Gervase will likely end up back in Triple-A once Los Angeles begins to return pitchers from the IL.
