  • Rangers' Izack Tiger: Back in action at High-A

Tiger (elbow) has allowed four earned runs on six hits and no walks while striking out six batters over 3.2 innings in two appearances for High-A Hub City since being reinstated from the 60-day injured list June 21. Tiger turned in a 2.70 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and 14:2 K:BB across 6.2 frames over four rehab appearances in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League before being cleared to make his 2026 debut for Hub City. The right-hander missed the entire 2025 season after undergoing an internal brace procedure on his right elbow in September 2024.

  • Rangers' Izack Tiger: Delayed by elbow setback

Tiger suffered a minor setback with his rehab from an internal brace surgery and is not scheduled to face hitters until the end of spring training, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports. Tiger missed all of last season following the September 2024 surgery. The 25-year-old was not going to make the Opening Day roster, as he's yet to advance past High-A and is coming off a lost campaign, and it's far from ideal that his development has been further delayed.

  • Rangers' Izack Tiger: To miss all of 2025

Tiger (elbow) will miss the 2025 season after undergoing internal brace surgery in September, MLB Pipeline reports. Tiger has a pair of plus pitches in his fastball and slider and also throws a decent splitter. He will head into his age-25 season in 2026 with just 46 pro innings under his belt and zero experience above High-A.
