Evan Woodbery@evanwoodbery1D agoIf the Dodgers offer a qualifying offer, there's a good chance that Buehler would accept it, meaning he wouldn't become Flaherty 2.0 for the Tigers. But you know who won't have a qualifying offer attached? Jack Flaherty. https://t.co/IzwWbsBEGY

Evan Woodbery@evanwoodbery2D agoLast year at this time, the Tigers added Keider Montero to preempt his impending minor-league free agency. If there's a similar move in the works, it will come in the next five days. https://t.co/nUHkEjdoHe

Evan Woodbery@evanwoodbery21D agoGuardians manager Stephen Vogt: "I have so much respect for A.J. and the Tigers. It was such a fun series. It was (similar to) our matchups throughout the regular season: Whoever got the big hit was going to win."

Jason Beck@beckjason21D agoTigers season ends with a 7-3 loss to Guardians in Game 5 of ALDS. It was a much later ending than anyone might have imagined a couple months ago, but it was also very close to an ALCS berth, seven outs shy in Game 4.

Evan Woodbery@evanwoodbery21D agoFinal: Guardians 7, Tigers 3. Guardians win the series, 3-2, and advance to play the Yankees in the ALCS. The Tigers' memorable 2024 season is in the books. https://t.co/UtHkFgF84D
