  • Rangers' Caden Scarborough: Activated from IL

Scarborough (melanoma) was activated from the 7-day injured list May 29. Scarborough managed to complete a rehab assignment in the Arizona Complex League in May and has since been deployed for a pair of starts since being activated from the IL by High-A Hub City. He's surrendered two runs on four hits and three walks while striking out six over seven innings across those two appearances.

The right-hander is one of the Rangers' top pitching prospects. He will likely need some time to build back up, but Scarborough could be bumped up to Double-A at some point this season if he pitches well after returning to a standard workload.
