Thunder's Bismack Biyombo: Will debut after All-Star break
Rotowire
Head coach Mark Daigneault said Biyombo (not with team) will sit out Tuesday's game in Orlando and won't make his Thunder debut until after the All-Star break, Brett Dawson of SelloutCrowd.com
The veteran center signed with the Thunder over the weekend and will get some extended time to get acclimated with his new club before making his debut. Assuming Biyombo is available when the Thunder open their post-All-Star-break schedule Feb. 22 against the Clippers, Biyombo could unseat Jaylin Williams for the top backup role behind starting center Chet Holmgren. Prior to being waived by Memphis in January, Biyombo appeared in 30 games and averaged 5.2 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 23.9 minutes per game.

Bismack Biyombo: Let go by Memphis
Rotowire
The Grizzlies waived Biyombo on Wednesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Biyombo played a major role for the Grizzlies' depleted frontcourt all season, posting 5.2 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.1 blocks in 23.9 minutes across 30 appearances (27 starts). With Steven Adams (knee) out for the season and Brandon Clarke (Achilles) not close to a return, Xavier Tillman and Santi Aldama should get extended looks most nights, but Jaren Jackson might also spend more time at center in Biyombo's absence.

Grizzlies' Bismack Biyombo: Retreats to bench
Rotowire
Biyombo won't start Wednesday's game against the Raptors.
After starting in all but one of his appearances this season, Biyombo will retreat to the bench in favor of Xavier Tillman. The change shouldn't come as too large of a surprise considering Biyombo has averaged 21.5 minutes per game in his last eight appearances while averaging a measly 4.3 points.

Grizzlies' Bismack Biyombo: Plays only eight minutes in loss
Rotowire
Biyombo ended Friday's 117-106 loss to the Clippers with two points (1-2 FG), two rebounds and one steal across eight minutes.
The Grizzlies were outrebounded 54-33 in the loss, and a lack of interior support from Biyombo was a key factor. Jaren Jackson, Santi Aldama and Xavier Tillman also had subpar success on the glass, but Memphis will need to figure out a solution at the five if Biyombo continues his downward trend.

Biyombo hasn't scored in double figures in five appearances since returning from a one-game absence, but his production was particularly limited during Thursday's blowout loss. The 31-year-old has been an unreliable contributor this month, averaging 4.4 points and 5.8 rebounds in 22.5 minutes per game over 12 appearances in December.

Rotowire
Biyombo had eight points (4-5 FG), two rebounds, one block and one steal over 22 minutes during Tuesday's 115-113 victory over the Pelicans.
Biyombo returned to action after missing the previous game due to a back injury. He slid straight back into the starting unit, although he failed to produce anything of note. Both he and Xavier Tillman are likely to battle for center minutes moving forward. While neither should be considered must-roster players, both should be monitored and streamed in, if and when injury befalls the other.

Grizzlies' Bismack Biyombo: Grabs 11 boards in win
Rotowire
Biyombo put up two points (1-3 FG), 11 rebounds, four assists and a block over 26 minutes in a 116-102 win over the Pistons on Wednesday.
Wednesday night also marked Biyombo's fifth game reaching double digits in the boards column. He has solidified himself as a reliable starter on the defensive end this season in the absence of Steven Adams (knee), averaging 7.8 rebounds and 1.4 blocks through 27.1 minutes. As Adams, Brandon Clarke (Achilles) and Xavier Tillman (knee) will all be out for extended periods (the first two being out presumably for the entire season), expect Biyombo to continue drawing major minutes down the line.

Grizzlies' Bismack Biyombo: Decent stat line Sunday
Rotowire
Biyombo recorded 10 points (2-3 FG, 6-10 FT), five rebounds, three assists and one steal across 30 minutes during Sunday's 119-97 loss to the Timberwolves.
Biyombo has started 10 straight games with Steven Adams (knee), Brandon Clarke (Achilles) and Xavier Tillman (knee) sidelined, averaging 8.2 points, 8.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.1 blocks in 28.4 minutes during that stretch. This is the first time Biyombo is starting on a semi-regular basis since the 2020-21 campaign when he was playing for Charlotte, and he figures to retain the role moving forward, as Adams and Clarke will likely miss the entire season while Tillman's return isn't imminent.
