  • Kings' Kent Bazemore: Let go by Sacramento

The Kings waived Bazemore on Thursday, James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento reports. Bazemore is an NBA journeyman who has played on five teams in 10 seasons. Last season, the veteran averaged 3.4 points, 1.8 rebounds, 0.9 assists and 0.6 steals in 14.0 minutes across 49 games for the Lakers. Bazemore will likely look to join a team looking for dependable outside shooting.

  • Kings' Kent Bazemore: Signs with Kings

Bazemore signed a one-year contract with the Kings on Sunday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Bazemore spent the 2021-22 season with the Lakers and averaged just 3.4 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 14.0 minutes per game. He'll attempt to bounce back on his one-year deal with Sacramento.

  • Lakers' Kent Bazemore: Scores season-high 13 points

Bazemore posted 13 points (4-7 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and one assist in 14 minutes during Friday's 117-114 loss to the Hornets. With LeBron James (knee), Anthony Davis (wrist) and Malik Monk (groin) sidelined, Bazemore saw an increased role and scored a season-high 13 points in just 14 minutes of action. While the scoring outburst is a positive sign, that type of production is likely unsustainable. Even with all the injuries, Bazemore still was the ninth man in coach Frank Vogel's rotation.

  • Lakers' Kent Bazemore: Makes rare appearance Tuesday

Bazemore contributed zero points (0-1 FG) in two minutes during Tuesday's 106-96 win over the Nets. Bazemore saw the court for just the third time this calendar year, highlighting his role, or lack thereof, on the Lakers right now. After starting the season as a regular part of the rotation, things have trended in the wrong direction over the past month. Obviously, the veteran is not a name worth discussing in any fantasy league at this point.

  • Lakers' Kent Bazemore: Clears injury designation Friday

Bazemore (COVID-19 protocols) is not listed on the injury report ahead of Friday's contest against the Trail Blazers. As expected, Bazemore will rejoin the team after a six-game absence. However, his role has been minimal since mid-November, averaging just 3.0 points and 1.9 rebounds over his past eight appearances.

  • Lakers' Kent Bazemore: Expected to be available Friday

Bazemore (COVID-19 protocols) is out Wednesday against the Grizzlies but is expected to be available Friday against the Trail Blazers, Kyle Goon of The Orange County Register reports. Bazemore will miss a sixth straight game Wednesday but appears set to re-join the rotation Friday. That said, his role has been minimal since mid-November. Over his past eight appearances, he's averaged 3.0 points and 1.9 rebounds in 9.4 minutes.

  • Lakers' Kent Bazemore: Remains in protocols

Bazemore (COVID-19 health and safety protocols) won't be available for Tuesday's game against the Rockets. Tuesday will mark 10 days since Bazemore first entered the health and safety protocols, but he apparently hasn't made enough progress in his recovery to gain clearance to play. He'll miss his fifth straight game Tuesday, and Bazemore will also be at risk of remaining out for the second half of the back-to-back set Wednesday in Memphis.

  • Lakers' Kent Bazemore: Still out Tuesday

Bazemore (COVID-19 health and safety protocols) is listed as out for Tuesday's game against the Suns. Bazemore, who entered the health and safety protocols Sunday, will be sidelined for a second straight game. Unless he's able to test out of the protocol early, Bazemore will likely miss all three of the Lakers' games this week.

  • Lakers' Kent Bazemore: Out for COVID-19-related reasons

The Lakers ruled Bazemore out for Sunday's game against the Bulls after placing him in the NBA's COVID-19 health and safety protocols, Dave McMenamin of ESPN.com reports. He becomes the sixth member of the Lakers to join the health and safety protocols, putting him in danger of not only sitting out Sunday, but likely, additional contests to follow. Due to the Lakers' dwindling depth, Bazemore started in Friday's 110-92 loss to the Timberwolves, scoring 11 points (4-8 FG, 3-5 3Pt) and adding seven rebounds, three assists and two steals in 24 minutes.

  • Lakers' Kent Bazemore: Will be in rotation Wednesday

Bazemore will join the rotation Wednesday against the Mavericks, Kyle Goon of The Orange County Register reports. Malik Monk and Talen Horton-Tucker landed in COVID-19 protocols, so coach Frank Vogel is digging deep into his bench. In Bazemore's 19 appearances this season, he's averaged 4.2 points and 1.9 rebounds in 18.6 minutes.

  • Lakers' Kent Bazemore: Not starting Sunday

Bazemore is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Spurs, Jovan Buha of The Athletic reports. Bazemore has started in all 13 games to begin the regular season but will regress to the bench for the first time with Talen Horton-Tucker set to make his 2021-22 debut after he had thumb surgery in October. Despite heading to the bench, Bazemore should still see a relative split in usage with Horton-Tucker while LeBron James (abdomen) remains out.

  • Lakers' Kent Bazemore: Gathers two steals in starting role

Bazemore ended with seven points (3-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt), four rebounds, two steals and one assist in 27 minutes during Tuesday's 119-117 victory over Houston. Bazemore continues to log meaningful minutes for the Lakers but the production has been serviceable, at best. He adds a much-needed defensive element to the starting lineup, something that is typically not reflected in his fantasy production. Outside of being a possible steals streamer, Bazemore is better left for those in deeper formats.

  • Lakers' Kent Bazemore: Starting Opening Night

Bazemore will start Wednesday's game against the Warriors, Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times reports. Wayne Ellington (hamstring) and Talen Horton-Tucker (thumb) are out, vaulting Bazemore into a starting spot for the opener. When that duo returns, it's not clear who will get the nod on the wing.

  • Lakers' Kent Bazemore: Agrees to deal with Lakers

Bazemore has agreed to terms on a one-year deal with the Lakers, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. The Lakers have boosted their depth during the first day of free agency and the addition of Bazemore enhances a list of arrivals that also includes Dwight Howard, Trevor Ariza and Wayne Ellington on Monday night. Bazemore averaged 7.2 points per game across 67 appearances for the Warriors in 2020-21, and the veteran forward should hold a role in the second unit for head coach Frank Vogel.

  • Warriors' Kent Bazemore: Records five steals

Bazemore notched 10 points (3-10 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five steals, four rebounds and an assist across 25 minutes in Wednesday's loss to the Lakers. Even though Bazemore's woeful in-bound pass denied the Warriors the chance of tying the game in the final possession of the contest, the veteran forward provided decent numbers across the board while starting for the 18th game in a row. Even though Bazemore has scored in double digits in four of his last five games, he's also recorded two or more steals in four straight appearances. He's averaging 10.6 points per game while shooting 43.8 percent from three-point range in that stretch.

  • Warriors' Kent Bazemore: Scores 14 points with two steals

Bazemore accumulated 14 points (6-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, two steals and one assist in 32 minutes during Friday's 125-122 win over the Pelicans. The 31-year-old has scored double-digit points over his last three games -- a span in which he's averaging 16.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.7 three-pointers and 1.3 steals while shooting 52.6 percent from the field. Bazemore has started the last 16 games for the Warriors and has helped elevate Golden State on the defensive end. He'll look to end his season on a high note Sunday at home against the Grizzlies.

  • Warriors' Kent Bazemore: Chips in with 19 points

Bazemore tallied 19 points (7-14 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one block in 33 minutes during Monday's 119-116 win over the Jazz. The 31-year-old bounced back from Saturday's five-point effort to post his 14th double-digit scoring output of the season. Bazemore's scoring production has been inconsistent of late, but he's quietly producing top-125 fantasy numbers over his last seven games, a span in which he's averaged 9.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.7 three-pointers, 1.1 steals and 0.9 blocks in 30.1 minutes. The ninth-year guard will look to help make it four wins in a row for the Warriors Tuesday at home against the second-seeded Suns.

  • Warriors' Kent Bazemore: Bounces back with 13 points

Bazemore tallied 13 points (5-7 FG, 3-5 3Pt), six rebounds and an assist across 30 minutes in Thursday's 118-97 win over the Thunder. Thanks to Bazemore, the impact of Kelly Oubre's absence has been kept to a minimum. Although a short stay in COVID-19 protocols halted his solid run, he returned with two double-doubles. Two tepid outings followed those games, but he was able to ramp the offensive production back up in Thursday's lopsided affair.

  • Warriors' Kent Bazemore: Sniffs double-double in win

Bazemore accumulated nine points (4-10 FG, 1-5 3Pt), eight rebounds, three steals, two assists and two blocks in 31 minutes during Monday's 123-108 win over the Pelicans. The 31-year-old has been posting solid all-around numbers over his past three games since returning from a three-game absence due to health and safety protocols, averaging 8.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.7 steals, 2.3 assists, 1.7 three-pointers and 1.3 blocks. Bazemore has started the past three games for the Warriors, which is a trend that should continue as long as Kelly Oubre (wrist) remains on the sidelines.

  • Warriors' Kent Bazemore: Double-doubles in return Thursday

Bazemore finished with 10 points (3-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-4 FT), 10 rebounds, three steals, two assists and one block in 33 minutes during Thursday's 126-114 loss to the Timberwolves. Bazemore moved straight back into the starting lineup upon returning from a three-game absence. He picked up where he left off in this one, doing a bit of everything while also recording his first double-double of the season. Kelly Oubre is a chance to miss additional time with an ongoing wrist injury and if that is indeed the case, Bazemore should then be rostered in most formats moving forward.
