  • Dario Saric: Waived Sunday

The Pistons waived Saric on Sunday, Hunter Patterson of The Athletic reports. The Pistons converted Daniss Jenkins' two-way deal to a standard contract, and to make room on the roster, Saric will be waived. Saric will be free to join a team of his choosing upon clearing waivers, but it's unlikely he'll land in a spot that gives him any relevance in fantasy leagues.

  • Pistons' Dario Saric: Won't play Monday

Saric (not with team) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Hornets. Saric has yet to make his debut with the Pistons since being sent from Chicago to Sacramento on Jan. 31 before being rerouted to Detroit on Tuesday. His next chance to play for the Pistons is Wednesday against the Raptors, though he doesn't appear to be a part of Detroit's plans for now.

  • Pistons' Dario Saric: Out again Friday

Saric (not with team) is unavailable for Friday's game against the Knicks. Saric was traded from Sacramento to Chicago and then rerouted to Detroit, and he's yet to join his new team. It remains to be seen if he'll be a part of Detroit's plans moving forward.

  • Pistons' Dario Saric: Unavailable Thursday

Saric (recently traded) won't play in Thursday's game against Washington. Saric was traded to Chicago from Sacramento and then rerouted to Detroit, and the veteran big man will be unavailable to make his first appearance with the Pistons on Thursday. His next chance to play will come Friday against New York.

  • Pistons' Dario Saric: Now heading to Detroit

The Pistons, Bulls and Timberwolves agreed to a three-team trade Tuesday that will send Saric to Detroit, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. The Pistons also acquired Kevin Huerter (back) and a first-round pick swap with Minnesota, while Mike Conley and Jaden Ivey will join the Bulls. Saric had just joined the Bulls this past weekend following a trade from the Kings, but now he won't have a chance to make his Bulls debut. The veteran big man last appeared for Sacramento on Dec. 20, so it's unlikely the Pistons have a meaningful role in mind for Saric upon his arrival.

  • Bulls' Dario Saric: Won't play Tuesday

Saric (not with team) will not play Tuesday against the Bucks. Saric has yet to join the Bulls following his trade from Sacramento. He's not guaranteed rotation minutes once he arrives.

  • Bulls' Dario Saric: Does not play Sunday

Saric did not play during Sunday's 134-91 loss to the Heat. Saric was not listed on the injury report ahead of Sunday's contest, but it appears he was simply not with the team yet after being traded from the Kings on Saturday. His next chance to suit up comes Tuesday against the Bucks.

  • Bulls' Dario Saric: Traded to Chicago

The Bulls acquired Saric in addition to 2027 and 2029 second-round picks Saturday in a three-team deal involving the Kings and Cavaliers, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. Sacramento will receive De'Andre Hunter in the deal, while the Cavaliers will acquire Keon Ellis, Dennis Schroder and Emanuel Miller. The Bulls likely weren't proactively looking to acquire Saric, as the two second-round picks are presumably the main draw for Chicago. Saric made just five appearances with the Kings this season and averaged 8.3 minutes per contest. He'll likely find himself outside of the rotation in Chicago.

  • Kings' Dario Saric: Heading to bench

Saric is not starting Friday's preseason game against the Lakers, Khobi Price of The Orange County Register reports. The Kings will tweak their lineup for their preseason finale, and Drew Eubanks will get the nod at center with Domantas Sabonis (hamstring) out.

  • Kings' Dario Saric: Starting preseason game

Saric is part of the starting lineup for Wednesday's preseason game against the Clippers, Sean Cunningham of Fox 40 Sacramento reports. Saric will get the first shot at replacing Keegan Murray (thumb) in the starting lineup, slotting in at Murray's typical power forward spot. With Murray expected to miss at least the first few weeks of the regular season, Saric will seemingly have the opportunity to claim the role.

  • Kings' Dario Saric: Posts 14 points in 14 minutes

Saric recorded 14 points (4-5 FG, 2-2 FT, 4-4 3Pt) over 14 minutes during Friday's 124-123 preseason loss to the Trail Blazers. Saric did nothing under the basket in the narrow loss, but he flashed his perimeter skills with four drained three-pointers. The veteran center has often shown off his ability to sink the deep ball throughout his career, but the Kings need him to serve as a backup to Domantas Sabonis, and he'll need to post a higher rebound total on a regular basis to overtake Drew Eubanks, who seems to have a firm handle on the role. After a disappointing stint with the Nuggets last season, his chances for quality playing time aren't much better in Sacramento.

  • Kings' Dario Saric: Traded to Sacramento

The Nuggets traded Saric to the Kings on Tuesday in exchange for Jonas Valanciunas, ESPN's Shams Charania reports. Sacramento needed some depth at forward after losing Jake LaRavia in free agency, but this move is likely just to reduce salary for the 2025-26 season. The Kings will become Saric's seventh NBA team, as he has become quite the journeyman. He was used sparingly in Denver during the 2024-25 season, appearing in 16 regular-season contests with averages of 3.5 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 13.1 minutes per game.

  • Nuggets' Dario Saric: Minimal impact in 2024-25 season

Saric finished the 2024-25 campaign with averages of 3.5 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 0.4 steals and 0.4 three-pointers made across 13.1 minutes per game in 16 regular-season outings (four starts). Saric was used sparingly this season, making only two appearances after the All-Star break. The 31-year-old big man averaged career-low marks in points, rebounds and minutes while being buried behind Nikola Jokic, Zeke Nnaji and DeAndre Jordan on the depth chart. Saric holds a player option for the 2025-26 campaign and is slated to become an unrestricted free agent ahead of the 2026-27 season.

  • Nuggets' Dario Saric: Solid outing off bench

Saric recorded eight points (3-4 FG, 2-4 FT), five assists and four boards in 19 minutes during Wednesday's 128-108 loss to the Rockets. With Nikola Jokic (elbow) sidelined, Saric put together a well-rounded performance, matching his season-high assist total while he was at it. Since DeAndre Jordan, who got the spot start, struggled, there's a chance Saric could get the shoulder-tap if Jokic continues to miss time. His next opportunity to prove his worth comes Friday against the Heat.

  • Nuggets' Dario Saric: Starting sans Jokic

Saric will enter the starting lineup in Tuesday's game against the Celtics. The 30-year-old center will enter the starting five with Nikola Jokic (illness) sidelined for Tuesday's marquee matchup. Saric hasn't appeared in an NBA game since Nov. 23, and he has averaged 3.4 points and 3.5 rebounds across 13.6 minutes per game in 10 regular-season appearances (three starts).

  • Nuggets' Dario Saric: Cleared Monday

Saric (ankle) is available to face the Suns on Monday. Saric missed five games with a sprained left ankle before being a healthy scratch Sunday. He'll be available once again Monday, but he isn't guaranteed to see the floor.

  • Nuggets' Dario Saric: Probable against Suns

Saric (ankle) is probable against the Suns on Monday. Saric was available to play Sunday against the Pelicans, but he never saw the floor after a lengthy injury absence. He last appeared in a game Nov. 23. If he suits up Monday, he'll likely have a limited role at best.

  • Nuggets' Dario Saric: Available Sunday against NOLA

Saric (ankle) is available to play against the Pelicans on Sunday. Saric has missed the Nuggets' last 10 games, partially due to a left ankle sprain. He was initially listed as doubtful for Sunday's game, but he will be available off Denver's bench, though he's unlikely to see much playing time behind Nikola Jokic, DeAndre Jordan and Zeke Nnaji.

  • Nuggets' Dario Saric: Doubtful to play Sunday

Saric (ankle) is doubtful to play against the Pelicans on Sunday. Saric has struggled to see consistent minutes as the backup center behind Nikola Jokic, but his injury issues haven't helped him, either. He's missed the last five games with a sprained left ankle, and the doubtful tag suggests he's unlikely to suit up Sunday. If that's the case, then DeAndre Jordan and Zeke Nnaji should continue to see steady run in the frontcourt behind Jokic,

  • Nuggets' Dario Saric: Idle Thursday

Saric (ankle) won't play in Thursday's game against Portland. Saric's absence streak extends to five games Thursday as he continues to tend to a sprained left ankle. Saric plays a minimal role when the Nuggets are at full health, so his absence shouldn't have any fantasy impact. His next chance to play will come Sunday at New Orleans -- the first leg of a back-to-back.
