Celtics' Sam Hauser: Stays hot from three
Hauser contributed 19 points (7-12 FG, 5-10 3Pt), four rebounds, three assists and one steal over 39 minutes during Friday's 130-126 double-overtime win over the Nets.
The Hauser hot streak stays intact after another sharpshooting performance. He's now up to 46 made threes in the month of Jan. on 95 attempts. Hauser is hitting threes at a 48.4 percent clip this month, leading to a deserved uptick in playing time highlighted by Friday's season-high 39 minutes.

Celtics' Sam Hauser: Drills another five triples
Hauser closed Wednesday's 119-104 win over the Pacers with 17 points (6-8 FG, 5-7 3Pt), six rebounds and three assists across 28 minutes.
Hauser stayed scorching hot from downtown Wednesday, drilling five three-pointers on seven attempts. The 28-year-old forward's 19 made triples over the last three games are the most by a Celtic since Hauser hit 21 over a three-game span during the 2023-2024 season. Since entering the starting lineup Jan. 3, Hauser is averaging 14.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.0 threes, 1.8 assists and 0.7 steals over 27.9 minutes per outing.

Celtics' Sam Hauser: Scores 30 points with 10 treys
Hauser popped off for 30 points (10-21 FG, 10-21 3Pt), six rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and two turnovers across 30 minutes during Saturday's 132-106 win over the Hawks.
With all 21 of Hauser's shot attempts coming from beyond the arc, he set a new record for most three-point attempts without any two-point attempts, and he also became the only player in Celtics franchise history to have multiple games with double-digit triples. Hauser has been playing well over the past four games, averaging 18.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 5.5 triples per contest.

Celtics' Sam Hauser: Hits three triples vs. Miami
Hauser logged 17 points (6-11 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, three assists and one steal over 29 minutes during the Celtics' 119-114 win over the Heat on Thursday.
On a night when Derrick White (eight points) and Payton Pritchard (two points) struggled from the field, Hauser stepped up and finished Thursday's win as the Celtics' third-leading scorer behind Anfernee Simons (39 points) and Jaylen Brown (27 points). In the six games since entering the starting lineup Jan. 3, Hauser has averaged 11.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 2.8 threes and 0.8 steals over 27.6 minutes per game.

Celtics' Sam Hauser: Upgraded to available
Hauser (hamstring) is available for Monday's game against the Pacers, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports.
Hauser sat out Saturday's defeat to San Antonio with right hamstring tightness, but he's keeping his absence to a one-game minimum Monday. The sharpshooter has started four straight contests, and Hauser has averaged 9.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.8 steals and 2.8 three-pointers in 26.3 minutes per tilt across nine starts in 2025-26.

Celtics' Sam Hauser: Iffy for Monday
Hauser (hamstring) is questionable for Monday's game against the Pacers, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports.
Hauser missed Saturday's loss to the Spurs due to right hamstring tightness, which was his first time on the inactive list this season. If he's unable to shake off his questionable tag Monday, Jordan Walsh and Hugo Gonzalez are candidates for increased roles. Over five appearances (four starts) this month, Hauser has averaged 11.4 points, 3.4 three-pointers and 3.2 rebounds in 26.6 minutes per contest.

Celtics' Sam Hauser: Out vs. San Antonio
Hauser is out for Saturday's game against the Spurs due to hamstring tightness, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.
Hauser posted 19 points, five rebounds and two assists in Friday's win over the Raptors, but he'll miss the second leg of this back-to-back set. The sharpshooter, who has shot 42.9 percent from beyond the arc in four outings since returning to the starting lineup Jan. 3, will aim to return against the Pacers on Monday. Jordan Walsh and Hugo Gonzalez are candidates for an uptick in minutes with Hauser unavailable.

Hauser is in the Celtics' starting lineup against the Clippers on Saturday, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.
Hauser will enter the Celtics' starting lineup for the sixth time this season while Jordan Walsh comes off the bench. Hauser is coming off a solid outing against the Kings on Thursday, when he scored 15 points (5-7 FG, 5-7 3Pt), five rebounds, one assist and one steal over 29 minutes.

Celtics' Sam Hauser: Gets hot from downtown
Hauser ended Thursday's 120-106 win over Sacramento with 15 points (5-7 FG, 5-7 3Pt), five rebounds, one assist and one steal in 29 minutes.
Hauser was locked in from beyond the arc after going just 2-for-12 from deep in his previous two matchups. He did all of his scoring from downtown Thursday and managed to grab five rebounds for a second straight game. However, consistency continues to be an issue for Hauser, who is averaging 9.7 points and 4.2 rebounds over his last six games.

Celtics' Sam Hauser: Scores season-high 23 points
Hauser closed with 23 points (7-8 FG, 7-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and four rebounds over 17 minutes during Friday's 140-122 victory over the Pacers.
Hauser dropped a season-high 23 points, a reminder of what he is capable of when his shot is falling. The seven three-pointers were the most he has hit since a win over the Cavaliers in late October. While this was an encouraging performance, we would need to see sustained production before declaring him a standard-league asset. At best, managers could stream him in for three-pointers, just in case he remains hot from the perimeter.

Celtics' Sam Hauser: Won't start Monday
Hauser won't start against the Pacers on Monday, Sean Grande of NBC Sports Boston reports.
The sharpshooter started Saturday's win over Toronto but will slide back to the second unit, as starter Jaylen Brown (illness) is back in action. Across eight appearances (two starts) in December, Hauser has averaged 6.8 points and 3.6 rebounds in 21.0 minutes per tilt.

Hauser will fill in for the absent Jaylen Brown (illness). It'll be Hauser's fifth start of the season. In his first four starts, Hauser averaged 9.8 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists while knocking down an average of 2.8 three-pointers.

Celtics' Sam Hauser: Drains five triples off bench
Hauser collected 15 points (5-6 FG, 5-6 3Pt), four rebounds and three assists over 25 minutes during the Celtics' 129-116 win over the Heat on Friday.
Hauser came alive in the fourth quarter with four triples, and his efforts from deep helped the Celtics snap a two-game losing skid. His 15 points and five made triples were his most since Oct. 29 against the Cavaliers (21 points while going 7-for-13 from deep). Hauser doesn't provide much fantasy value outside of his contributions from beyond the arc.

Hauser (ankle) is probable for Friday's game against the Heat, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports.
Despite tweaking his ankle Monday against the Pistons, Hauser is expected to be in the rotation Friday. That will be the first game of a back-to-back set, so the Celtics could monitor him closely.

With Jaylen Brown returning from a one-game absence due to an illness, Hauser will slide back to the second unit. Over his last five games off the bench, the 27-year-old forward has averaged 7.8 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 21.4 minutes per contest.
