  • Warriors' Malevy Leons: Sees increased run in 2025-26

Leons averaged 3.3 points, 2.1 rebounds, 0.9 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.4 blocks in 11.0 minutes per game across 25 regular-season appearances (two starts) in the 2025-26 campaign. After averaging just 3.5 minutes per game over six regular-season appearances with the Thunder in 2024-25, Leons saw an increased role for the injury-plagued Warriors this season. The two-way player signed with Golden State in early December on a two-way pact and logged the majority of his action in the second half of the season. The 26-year-old forward also appeared in 33 G League outings between the Santa Cruz Warriors and Oklahoma City Blue, during which he averaged 14.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.9 blocks in 34.1 minutes per tilt.

  • Warriors' Malevy Leons: Shifting to bench

Leons will come off the bench Thursday against the Lakers, Anthony Slater of ESPN.com reports. Leons drew a spot start Tuesday against the Kings, and while Kristaps Porzingis (knee) and Gui Santos (pelvis) are out again Thursday, it'll be Nate Williams who gets a chance with the first unit. Leons figures to remain involved in the rotation with Golden State operating shorthanded in the frontcourt.

  • Warriors' Malevy Leons: Not listed on injury report

Leons (illness) has been removed from the injury report ahead of Friday's meeting with the Wizards. Leons is averaging 2.6 points and 2.0 rebounds per game this season.

  • Warriors' Malevy Leons: Ruled out for Wednesday

Leons (illness) has been downgraded to out for Wednesday's game against the Nets. Leons was a late addition to the injury report Wednesday, and after initially being listed as questionable to play through the iillness, the two-way forward will ultimately sit out. While he's not a major part of Golden State's rotation, Leons' absence could open up some extra minutes for Omer Yurtseven, who was re-signed to a second 10-day deal. Leons' next chance to play will come Friday against Washington.

  • Warriors' Malevy Leons: Questionable for Wednesday

Leons is questionable to play Wednesday versus the Nets due to an illness. Leons is a late addition to Wednesday's injury report, which usually isn't a good sign. However, Leons was out of the rotation during Monday's loss to the Mavericks, so his playing status won't impact fantasy leagues.

  • Warriors' Malevy Leons: Left out of rotation

Leons (coach's decision) went unused off the bench Monday in the Warriors' 137-131 overtime win over the Mavericks. Golden State was down five players due to injury Tuesday, but the returns of Kristaps Porzingis (back), Gary Payton (knee) and Moses Moody (wrist) were enough to bump Leons out of the rotation. The two-way player had previously appeared in 13 straight contests for the banged-up Warriors, averaging 3.2 points, 2.1 rebounds and 0.7 assists in 11.2 minutes per game during that stretch. Moody ended up exiting in the overtime period with what appeared to be a serious-looking knee injury, so if he ends up missing time, Leons could be a candidate to move back into the rotation for the Warriors' next game Wednesday versus the Nets.
