Celtics' Derrick White: Held to 11 points in loss
White ended with 11 points (5-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt), four rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal over 31 minutes during Wednesday's 117-106 loss to Atlanta.
The Celtics came out lifeless Wednesday evening, scoring just 18 points on 6-of-20 shooting through the first quarter of action, which accounted for their lowest-scoring first quarter this season. White was scoreless in that first frame, opened the game with four straight misses and just never found his footing offensively. This was the Celtics' first double-digit defeat since Dec. 11 in Milwaukee, but they'll look to right the ship Friday versus Sacramento.

Celtics' Derrick White: Set to return Saturday
White (rest) is not on the injury report ahead of Saturday's game against the Bulls, Justin Turpin of WEEI.com reports.
White sat out the Celtics' double-overtime win over the Nets on Friday due to rest purposes. The veteran guard will be available for the second leg of Boston's back-to-back set Saturday, and his return will likely result in Baylor Scheierman reverting to a bench role.

Celtics' Derrick White: Struggles from field in return
White logged 15 points (5-18 FG, 3-11 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, seven assists, one block and one steal across 39 minutes during Saturday's 114-111 loss to the Bulls.
White was back on the floor Saturday after being held out of Friday's double-overtime win over the Nets for rest purposes. That extra rest didn't appear to help with his efficiency from the field, but he was responsible for three of the Celtics' eight offensive boards and finished tied with Payton Pritchard for the most assists on the team. White has been an inconsistent shooter all season, but since the start of January he has connected on just 36.0 percent of his field-goal attempts and 25.0 percent of his three-point tries (on 8.3 3PA/G).

Celtics' Derrick White: Will rest Friday
White (rest) will not play Friday against Brooklyn, Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site reports.
This is a simple maintenance day on the front end of a back-to-back set, and there is no injury to report. Presumably, White will be back in the lineup Saturday against the Bulls. With White sidelined, Baylor Scheierman and Anfernee Simons could see increased roles Friday.

Celtics' Derrick White: Season-high 12 assists
White provided seven points (3-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt), five rebounds, 12 assists, one block and three steals over 25 minutes during Saturday's 132-106 victory over the Hawks.
White dished out a season-high 12 assists while also chipping in across all the major categories. This game was in the bag early, meaning Boston was able to limit its starters, White included. Despite shooting a career-low 39.6 percent from the field this season, White's peripheral production has him sitting inside the top 25 in standard leagues, as he's averaging 18.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 3.1 three-pointers and 2.9 combined steals-plus-blocks.

Celtics' Derrick White: Notches 18 points in loss
White recorded 18 points (7-21 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and five assists over 36 minutes during Monday's 98-96 loss to the Pacers.
This was not White's best shooting night, obviously, but fantasy managers haven't had much to complain about this season. Across 38 regular-season appearances, White is on pace to return second-round fantasy value in nine-category formats with 18.6 points, 5.2 assists, 4.4 rebounds, 1.3 steals, 1.6 blocks and 3.2 three-pointers.

Celtics' Derrick White: Fills stat sheet in loss to Spurs
White recorded 29 points (11-26 FG, 5-17 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks across 42 minutes in Saturday's 100-95 loss to the Spurs.
The Celtics came up short in this game after the Spurs had an incredible scoring run in the final minutes, but White was Boston's best player by a wide margin. He finished just one board shy of a double-double, but he also recorded at least two tallies in each of the five major categories. This was the seventh time this season that he achieved that impressive feat.

Celtics' Derrick White: Swats three shots in loss
White had 17 points (7-19 FG, 3-12 3Pt), four rebounds, four assists and three blocks in 34 minutes during Wednesday's 114-110 loss to the Nuggets.
Incredibly, this was White's 48th career game with at least three blocked shots. He's been on a tear this season in nine-category formats, as he's on pace to return second-round value with 18.4 points, 5.3 assists, 4.3 rebounds, 1.4 steals, 1.6 blocks and 3.2 three-pointers.

Celtics' Derrick White: Scores 29 in win over LAC
White had 29 points (10-20 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 4-5 FT), four rebounds, seven assists, a steal and two blocks across 37 minutes in Saturday's 146-115 win over the Clippers.
Jaylen Brown stole the show with his 50-point performance, but White was remarkably efficient in what turned out to be an impressive effort as well. White has scored 20 or more points in three of his last five outings and has gone 17 straight contests draining two or more three-pointers.

Celtics' Derrick White: Posts solid final line
White notched 16 points (5-13 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five rebounds, seven assists, one block and three steals in 35 minutes during Thursday's 120-106 win over Sacramento.
White wasn't particularly impressive as a scorer Thursday, needing considerable volume from the field to reach 16 points, but he managed to contribute in other ways. He's now snagged five or more rebounds in eight straight matchups and is averaging 5.9 assists over his last seven appearances. White has also recorded two or more steals in three of his last four games.

Celtics' Derrick White: Logs career high in blocks
White notched 27 points (8-16 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 9-9 FT), seven rebounds, seven blocks and six assists across 36 minutes in Tuesday's 129-119 win over the Jazz.
After scoring 12 points on 5-of-16 shooting in Sunday's loss to the Trail Blazers, White bounced back with a team-high 27 points against Utah. His seven rebounds were also a team-high mark. However, the 6-foot-4 guard's biggest contribution came on the defensive end. The 31-year-old tallied a career-high seven blocks, and he has recorded multiple swats in 11 of his 31 regular-season appearances. He is the first guard and the first Celtics player in NBA history to produce that stat line, according to Sean Grande of NBC Sports Boston.

Celtics' Derrick White: Tallies five steals vs. Portland
White registered 12 points (5-16 FG, 2-10 3Pt), five assists, five rebounds, five steals and one block over 40 minutes during the Celtics' 114-108 loss to the Trail Blazers on Sunday.
White set a season high Sunday with five steals, his most in a game since the 2018-19 season as a member of the Spurs. It masked his inefficient performance from the field (particularly from deep), and he has connected on just 34.3 percent of his field-goal attempts over his last four outings. White has been a streaky shooter all season, and he'll look to bounce back Tuesday against the Jazz.

Celtics' Derrick White: Drops 21 points in win
White ended Friday's 140-122 victory over the Pacers with 21 points (6-15 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 6-7 FT), five rebounds, six assists, one block and two steals in 33 minutes.
White delivered an efficient outing from beyond the arc, knocking down at least three triples for a fifth consecutive contest. He finished as Boston's third-leading scorer and recorded 20-plus points for the sixth time over 10 appearances in December. Additionally, the veteran guard dished out a team-high six assists, and he has reached that mark in three of Boston's last four games.
