Isaac Bonga: Stellar outing in Olympic victory
Bonga finished with 15 points (6-8 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, one steal and one block across 21 minutes in Germany's 86-73 win over Brazil in the Paris Olympics on Tuesday.
Bonga had an extremely efficient outing as Germany outlasted Brazil on Tuesday. The squad survived a rough second quarter, and Germany went on to win by a comfortable margin with the forward stepping up on the offensive end. Despite not being known as a great perimeter shooter, especially during his four-year stint in the NBA, the 24-year-old has now shot a combined 5-for-7 from range through two group-phase games. Bonga has accumulated 26 points and eight boards in the group stage, and he has played at least 20 minutes in both contests.

Raptors' Isaac Bonga: Inefficient double-double in playoffs
Bonga tallied 12 points (4-16 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, four assists, two blocks and two steals across 33 minutes in Sunday's 143-139 loss to the Delaware Blue Coats in the Eastern Conference Final.

He averaged 13.2 points, 9.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.1 steals and one block per game for 905 this season, which is an improvement over his last G League campaign with the South Bay Lakers in 2018-19.

Bonga didn't have a good shooting day Thursday -- except he was pretty decent from the free-throw line -- but he rebounded and defended solidly in his side's playoff win over the Go-Go, his first game back after missing some time with a toe injury. On Sunday he will face either Delaware or Motor City in the Conference Final.

Bonga was an efficient scorer, an effective rebounder and a defensive leader against Grand Rapids on Tuesday, and the only blemish on his performance was his struggle from deep. He's making just 28.4 percent of his 4.1 three-pointers per game this season, but he's averaging nearly a double-double per game for 905.

Raptors' Isaac Bonga: Back with NBA team
Toronto recalled Bonga from the G League's Raptors 905 on Wednesday, Vivek Jacob of the Raptors' official site reports.
Bonga hasn't seen action with the NBA team since Jan. 25. Even with OG Anunoby (finger) already ruled out for Thursday's game against the Pistons and Fred VanVleet (knee) and Thaddeus Young (illness) uncertain to play, Bonga isn't a good bet to see the court if the contest is reasonably competitive.
