  • Pistons' Javonte Green: Quiet again in victory

Green had two points (1-1 FG), three rebounds and one assist in 17 minutes during Saturday's 126-110 win over the Bulls. Green continues to put up modest production, logging no more than 20 minutes for the 17th straight game. With the Pistons rolling out a relatively healthy lineup, Green's role is simply that of a depth piece. At best, fantasy managers could consider him for streaming purposes when in desperate need of steals.

  • Pistons' Javonte Green: Passive performance Friday

Green chipped in two points (1-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 0-2 FT), three rebounds and one assist over 17 minutes during Friday's 111-104 loss to Houston. Green scored just two points, failing to reach double digits for the fifth time in the past six games. After a brief run of relevance earlier in the season, Green has seen his role regress in recent times. In that recent six-game span, he has averaged just 6.8 points and 1.5 steals in 17.8 minutes per game.

  • Pistons' Javonte Green: Reverting back to bench

Green is not in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Suns. With Isaiah Stewart (illness) and Tobias Harris (hip) both back in the mix, Green is reverting back to usual role off the bench. Green has averaged 8.8 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.1 steals in 21.1 minutes per tilt across his last 14 games off the bench, so the door remains open for him to offer streaming value in the steals category.

  • Pistons' Javonte Green: Starting sans Stewart

Green will start against the Clippers on Saturday. With Isaiah Stewart (illness) and Tobias Harris (hip) unavailable, Green will get the starting nod against Los Angeles. In three starts so far this season, the 32-year-old swingman has averaged 13.7 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.3 blocks and 1.0 steals in 35.7 minutes per tilt.

  • Pistons' Javonte Green: Adds 17 points in win

Green totaled 17 points (6-9 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, one assist and three steals over 29 minutes during Monday's 121-90 win over New York. Green has now scored in double figures in three straight games and has played at least 24 minutes in those contests with Tobias Harris (hip) sidelined. The 32-year-old forward drilled a season-high four threes and collected three swipes in the blowout win over the Knicks. He's now totalled six games with at least three steals this season, the second most in the league by a bench player. Green should continue to see healthy playing time while Harris is out and could offer some streaming appeal in the short term.

  • Pistons' Javonte Green: Sees 24 minutes in win

Green ended with 11 points (3-9 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one steal in 24 minutes during Sunday's 114-110 win over the Cavaliers. Tobias Harris (hip) is going to miss a couple of weeks, and Jalen Duren (ankle) is expected to miss at least one week as well. Ausar Thompson drew the start alongside Isaiah Stewart and Paul Reed in the frontcourt, but Green actually saw more minutes than Thompson. Green could offer some low-end streaming appeal for the next week or two.

  • Pistons' Javonte Green: Swats two shots in win

Green closed Tuesday's 128-106 victory over the Lakers with eight points (3-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists and two blocks in 31 minutes. With Tobias Harris (hip) going down in the first quarter, Green logged his most minutes since Nov. 14. The 32-year-old forward struggled to find his rhythm from beyond the arc but was effective on the defensive end, chipping in a team-high two blocks. If Harris is forced to miss additional time, Green could step into a more prominent role.

  • Pistons' Javonte Green: Sees 14 minutes in win

Green produced eight points (3-4 FG, 2-3 3Pt), one rebound, one assist and three steals over 14 minutes during Monday's 112-105 win over the Celtics. With the Pistons at full strength, Green has seen his minutes take a hit. Over his last five outings, the 32-year-old forward has averaged 7.8 points, 0.6 rebounds, 0.6 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.4 three-pointers in 14.3 minutes per contest.

  • Pistons' Javonte Green: Posts nine in loss

Green closed with nine points (3-6 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), one rebound, two assists and two steals in 16 minutes during Wednesday's 113-109 loss to the Bucks. Green's role has fluctuated due to the return of multiple key players from injuries, averaging just 3.3 points, 1.0 rebounds and 0.3 assists across 10.6 minutes in his last seven games after averaging 14.0 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists across 32.6 minutes in the five games (three starts) before. Green has shown that he can step up for Detroit when necessary, and if injuries occur to gash the team's wing depth again, he is a candidate to see heavy usage.

  • Pistons' Javonte Green: Barely sees floor in loss

Green registered zero points (0-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound and one block across 10 minutes during Wednesday's 117-114 loss to Boston. Green's role has regressed in recent times, having now played fewer than 15 minutes in three straight games. With Detroit now relatively healthy, Green is likely to serve as a depth piece on most nights. Over his last three games, Green has averaged just 3.0 points in 11.2 minutes per contest.

  • Pistons' Javonte Green: Back to bench vs. Pacers

Green won't start Monday's game against Indiana. A string of three straight starts for Green will be broken up Monday. He has averaged 7.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.0 steals in 22.6 minutes per contest over 13 games this season.

  • Pistons' Javonte Green: Slated to start Monday

Green is in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Wizards. Green will make his first start of the season with Ausar Thompson (ankle) and Tobias Harris (ankle) sidelined. Green has played 20-plus minutes off the bench in each of his past four games, averaging 5.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.0 steals per contest during that span.

  • Pistons' Javonte Green: Scores seven in win

Green logged seven points (3-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt), two rebounds, two steals, one assist and one block over 14 minutes during Saturday's 122-110 victory over the Mavericks. Green came off the bench and delivered his usual production, scoring seven points for the third time in six games this season. The wing has logged 20 minutes just once so far but continues to make an impact when called upon, recording at least one steal in five of six appearances to open the year.

  • Pistons' Javonte Green: Drops seven in win

Green put up seven points (3-9 FG, 1-5 3Pt), three rebounds and an assist across 17 minutes in Sunday's 119-113 win over Boston. While Detroit's bench did not perform particularly well Sunday, posting only 23 points as a whole, Green was one of the main contributors, alongside Ronald Holland (7) and Isaiah Stewart (9). However, once Caris LeVert (hamstring) returns from injury, Green may be in danger of ceding some minutes.

  • Pistons' Javonte Green: Versatile contributions Tuesday

Green produced six points (3-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt), four rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block in 19 minutes during Tuesday's preseason loss to the Cavaliers. A jack-of-all-trades, Green was able to chip in across the board as he attempts to carve out a consistent role in Detroit. Despite playing seven years in the NBA, Green has yet to find his footing when it comes to regular rotation minutes. While this was somewhat of an intriguing performance, Green is unlikely to be utilized beyond being a depth piece on a team pushing for a top seed in the Eastern Conference.

  • Pistons' Javonte Green: Joins Detroit on one-year deal

Green and the Pistons agreed to a one-year deal Monday, ESPN's Shams Charania reports. Green, who is entering his seventh NBA campaign, split the 2024-25 season between the Pelicans and Cavaliers. He appeared in 68 total regular-season games, posting averages of 5.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 0.5 blocks and 1.0 steals in 18.5 minutes. Minutes won't be easy to come by in Detroit, however.

  • Cavaliers' Javonte Green: Limited role continues Sunday

Green accumulated two points (0-1 FG, 2-2 FT) and two rebounds over seven minutes during Sunday's 129-109 loss to the Pacers in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Green continues to play a minimal role, logging no more than 10 minutes for the seventh time in the past eight games. The Game 4 loss now sees Cleveland on the brink of elimination, needing to win all three remaining games, starting with Game 5 on Tuesday.

  • Cavaliers' Javonte Green: Scores 11 points in win

Green posted 11 points (3-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds and two steals across 12 minutes during Monday's 138-83 win over Miami in Game 4 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. Green played a combined six minutes in the postseason prior to Monday. Still, the Cavaliers handled business early in Game 4, allowing Green and several others to get some garbage-time run. Green is not likely to be in the regular rotation most nights going forward.

  • Cavaliers' Javonte Green: Won't start vs. Miami

Green will come off the bench during Game 1 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinal-round series against the Heat on Sunday. After starting the regular-season finale for Cleveland against Indiana, Green will be on the second unit for Game 1. In 49 games in a reserve role, the 30-year-old forward averaged 4.3 points and 2.8 rebounds per game while shooting 46.2 percent from the field.

  • Cavaliers' Javonte Green: Starting Sunday

Green is in the Cavaliers' starting lineup against the Pacers on Sunday. Green will make his 19th start of the season Sunday and his first for the Cavaliers since signing with Cleveland in February. Green has averaged 1.7 points and 2.0 rebounds over 8.9 minutes per game over his last 10 outings, though he should get significant run time in the Cavaliers' regular-season finale.
