Grizzlies' Scotty Pippen: Efficient off bench Sunday
Rotowire
Pippen closed Sunday's 107-104 win over the Pelicans with 12 points (4-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals over 29 minutes.
Pippen has been starting here and there every time Ja Morant has been forced to miss time, but the former has been playing well off the bench in recent games. He's recorded double-digit points in three of his last four outings with the second unit, and he's achieved that goal in four of his six outings in March so far, including a 12-point, seven-assist effort in his lone start over that stretch. Pippen's value is directly tied to Morant's availability, but if he manages to continue playing at this level, Pippen could have some value in deep leagues as a streaming option.

Grizzlies' Scotty Pippen: Solid line off bench in loss
Rotowire
Pippen supplied 15 points (6-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, three assists and three steals across 21 minutes during Wednesday's 120-103 loss to the Thunder.
Despite coming off the bench, Pippen was one of the standout performers for the Grizzlies, as he recorded three or more tallies in four of the five major categories while also showing an efficient touch from the floor. Pippen doesn't have a significant role off the bench if Ja Morant is available, so fantasy managers should see Pippen as a potential streaming option, but not much else in most formats.

Grizzlies' Scotty Pippen: Iffy for Wednesday
Rotowire
Pippen (toe) has been listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Thunder.
Pippen has played a significant role for the Grizzlies this season, especially when Ja Morant (shoulder) can't play, and Morant is also listed as questionable for this game. Pippen has missed only one game during the 2024-25 campaign, averaging 9.0 points, 3.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.2 steals per game. If he can't go Wednesday, Memphis may have to lean on Luke Kennard in the backcourt.

Grizzlies' Scotty Pippen: Coming off bench Monday
Rotowire
Pippen is not in the Grizzlies' starting lineup against the Hawks on Monday.
Pippen started in Saturday's 130-128 loss to the Spurs, and he finished with 12 points, seven assists, four rebounds and one steal over 28 minutes. Even with Ja Morant (shoulder) ruled out for Monday's game, Pippen will come off the bench while Luke Kennard enters the Grizzlies' starting five.

Grizzlies' Scotty Pippen: Solid output in starting role
Rotowire
Pippen supplied 12 points (5-12 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, seven assists and one steal over 28 minutes during Saturday's 130-128 loss to the Spurs.
Pippen entered the starting lineup due to the absence of Ja Morant (shoulder) and posted a solid stat line, finishing just three assists away from a double-double. It's unclear if Morant will have to spend some time on the sidelines, but Pippen's near-term fantasy value will be directly tied to Morant's availability. Pippen is averaging 13.8 points, 4.1 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game when deployed in a starting role.

Grizzlies' Scotty Pippen: Steps up with game-high 10 assists
Rotowire
Pippen finished Sunday's 132-119 victory over Milwaukee with nine points (4-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-5 FT), five rebounds, 10 assists, one block and four steals across 23 minutes.
With Ja Morant out with a shoulder injury, Pippen handed out his most assists since dishing out 12 during the Dec. 8 win over Washington. The second-year guard hasn't started a game since Jan. 6 despite Morant's absence, but Pippen has maintained a stable role in Memphis' rotation. That said, Pippen has reached double-digit scoring figures in just one of his last 12 games and doesn't have a clear pathway to consistent fantasy value while Desmond Bane is healthy for the Grizzlies.

Grizzlies' Scotty Pippen: Muted scoring in win
Rotowire
Pippen closed with zero points (0-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt), three rebounds, four assists and two steals over 16 minutes during Wednesday's 132-120 victory over the Hornets.
Pippen failed to score in just his second game this season during Wednesday's victory. Since returning to the bench, Pippen has averaged 3.6 points, 3.4 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 15.0 minutes across seven appearances.

Grizzlies' Scotty Pippen: Retreats to bench Thursday
Rotowire
Pippen will come off the bench in Thursday's game against Houston, Drew Hill of The Daily Memphian reports.
With Ja Morant (shoulder) returning from a five-game absence Thursday, Pippen will slide back to the bench. Over his last 10 outings (six starts), the 24-year-old has averaged 12.9 points, 4.2 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 1.6 steals in 23.8 minutes per contest.

Grizzlies' Scotty Pippen: Stuffs stat sheet in win
Rotowire
Pippen logged 18 points (6-13 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five boards, five steals, four assists and a block in 28 minutes of action during the 119-104 win over the Grizzlies on Monday.
The third-year guard has excelled as a starter this season, and his performance with the first unit in Monday's contest was no different. He particularly shined on the defensive side of the ball, where he set a career-high mark in steals. Ja Morant (shoulder), Desmond Bane (ankle) and Marcus Smart (finger) have murky return timetables, but so long as they remain sidelined, Pippen should remain firmly in the first unit. His next outing comes Thursday against the Rockets.

Grizzlies' Scotty Pippen: Held to two points
Rotowire
Pippen posted two points (0-5 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal over 22 minutes during Tuesday's 117-112 victory over the Suns.
Ja Morant is week-to-week with a Grade 1 AC joint sprain in his right shoulder, and Pippen is likely to continue starting in the meantime. His production over his past two starts has left a lot to be desired, however, as he averaged just 6.0 points, 4.5 assists, 2.5 rebounds, 1.0 steals, 1.5 blocks and 0.5 three-pointers.

Grizzlies' Scotty Pippen: Starting sans Morant
Rotowire
Pippen is in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Hawks.
Pippen is set to make his 11th start of the season in this matchup as injury concerns continue to plague Ja Morant. Pippen is averaging 14.3 points, 5.9 assists, 4.4 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game in his 10 previous starts.

Grizzlies' Scotty Pippen: Fills in with double-double
Rotowire
Pippen accumulated 14 points (6-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT), three rebounds, 12 assists and two steals in 22 minutes during Sunday's 140-112 win over the Wizards.
Pippen showed Memphis' depth on a night where both teams were depleted with injuries. Thanks to Pippen, the Grizzlies have gone 7-4 without Ja Morant's (back) services, as the Vanderbilt product has performed admirably during the superstar's absences. Despite his success as a fill-in, Pippen's numbers don't merit fantasy consideration, barring a significant absence from Morant.

Grizzlies' Scotty Pippen: Sees 11 minutes
Rotowire
Pippen ended Sunday's 136-121 win over Indiana with four points (2-7 FG, 0-4 3Pt), one rebound and two assists in 11 minutes.
Pippen's minutes continue to trend in the wrong direction with the Grizzlies getting healthier. He's seen 14 or fewer minutes in three of the past four games, so he'll be a hard player to trust in fantasy formats while Ja Morant is upright. Plus, it doesn't help that the Grizzlies use such a large rotation.

Grizzlies' Scotty Pippen: Back in bench role
Rotowire
Pippen isn't starting Monday's game against the Trail Blazers, Damichael Cole of The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.
As anticipated, Pippen will return to his usual bench role following the return of Ja Morant from a hip injury. Pippen had a solid run with the first unit, averaging 13.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 1.1 steals in eight starts.

Grizzlies' Scotty Pippen: Explodes for season-high 30 points
Rotowire
Pippen closed Saturday's 142-131 win over the Bulls with 30 points (13-16 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two rebounds and 10 assists across 31 minutes.
Pippen hadn't been putting up good scoring numbers of late, as he had failed to surpass the 15-point mark in four of his previous five contests. However, Pippen bounced back admirably and notched his best scoring mark of the campaign -- and by a wide margin. Pippen has been playing well as the starting point guard in place of Ja Morant (hip), and even though Pippen's numbers will likely experience a regression once Morant is ready to return, Pippen seems to have earned a steady role in the rotation going forward.

Grizzlies' Scotty Pippen: Scores 15 points in loss to LAL
Rotowire
Pippen totaled 15 points (6-14 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, three assists, one block and three steals over 32 minutes during Wednesday's 128-123 loss to the Lakers.
Pippen's presence in the starting lineup will likely last only until Ja Morant (hip) is cleared to return, but the 24-year-old is doing everything he can to show he belongs in the league. Pippen is averaging 14.3 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game in his three starts this season. Morant is considered week-to-week and his return date is uncertain, so Pippen should remain in the starting unit for Friday's game against the Warriors.

Grizzlies' Scotty Pippen: Starting at point
Rotowire
Pippen will start at point guard in Friday's game versus the Wizards.
With Ja Morant (hip) sidelined, Pippen will get the keys to the car as the Grizzlies' point guard. It marks his first start of the season. The guard has averaged 11.7 points, 3.6 rebounds and 6.4 assists across 25.8 minutes in nine games off the bench.

Grizzlies' Scotty Pippen: Dishes out 13 assists
Rotowire
Pippen notched 12 points (4-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, 13 assists and one steal over 29 minutes during Saturday's 124-107 victory over Philadelphia.
Pippen secured his third double-double of the young season with the help of yet another sparkling performance as a passer. The Vandy product has consistently produced off the bench so far this year, averaging 11.0 points, 3.1 rebounds, 7.3 assists and 1.3 steals in 25.1 minutes. His playing time may take a small hit once Marcus Smart (ankle) and Luke Kennard (foot) return to play, but it's tough to imagine Pippen not seeing close to 20 minutes a night even when the team gets healthy, at least while he's producing at his current level.

Grizzlies' Scotty Pippen: Records season-high 16 points
Rotowire
Pippen finished Thursday's 122-99 win over the Bucks with 16 points (5-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-5 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one steal across 27 minutes.
With Marcus Smart (ankle), John Konchar (quadriceps) and Luke Kennard (foot) all out, Pippen continued to receive extended playing time during Wednesday's win. Pippen has flourished to start the season, averaging 10.8 points, 6.3 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 24.5 minutes across six appearances. If the Grizzlies continue to suffer from multiple injuries in the backcourt, the 24-year-old guard will garner serious fantasy interest.

Grizzlies' Scotty Pippen: Another double-digit assist effort
Rotowire
Pippen finished with 14 points (6-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt), four rebounds, 10 assists, one block and one steal across 31 minutes during Monday's 126-123 loss to Chicago.
Starting point guard Ja Morant (thigh) was out for Monday's loss. Though Pippen didn't get the start, he got starter's minutes and functionally ran the team's offense. The performance marked Pippen's second consecutive with double-digit assists after handing out 12 dimes in 23 minutes during the home-opener win against the Magic. Pippen was not someone who was typically drafted in fantasy, but he's proving to be a strong source of production off Memphis' bench. The team is dealing with significant injuries to reserve players, but Pippen proved himself last season and has continued to perform well enough this season to seemingly earn coach Taylor Jenkins' confidence.
