  • Raptors' Chris Paul: Headed to Toronto

Paul has been traded to the Raptors in a three-way deal with the Nets and Clippers on Wednesday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. Ochai Agbaji will head to Brooklyn as part of the swap.

While Paul has been traded to Toronto, he's not expected to remain there, Shams Charania of ESPN reports. The Raptors are listening to trade offers on the 40-year-old veteran, but if nothing comes to fruition on that front, they are expected to waive him. Paul will likely latch on with a contender after he's waived, but he's well past his days of relevancy in fantasy leagues.

  • Clippers' Chris Paul: Parting ways with Clippers

The Clippers announced in a statement Wednesday that Paul will no longer be part of the team, Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com reports.

Paul had traveled with the Clippers to Atlanta in advance of Wednesday's game against the Hawks, but the team has since sent him back to Los Angeles and plans to part ways with the veteran point guard. Shams Charania of ESPN previously reported Nov. 22 that Paul is set to retire following the 2025-26 campaign, but he apparently won't be riding out his final season with LA. The Clippers are working with Paul to determine the next steps for his career, with waiving him and assuming the money remaining on his $3.63 million contract or agreeing to terms on a buyout both being possibilities. The Clippers could also look to trade Paul, though no deal could be executed until Dec. 15. With Paul out of the picture, the Clippers will likely turn to Kris Dunn and Bogdan Bogdanovic (hip) to handle point-guard duties when starter James Harden is off the court.

  • Clippers' Chris Paul: Will retire after season

Paul is set to retire from the NBA following the conclusion of the 2025-26 season, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Paul opted to reunite with the Clippers on a one-year deal for his 21st season in the NBA. However, he has been in and out of the rotation to start the year, and the veteran point guard will hang up his shoes following the conclusion of the 2025-26 campaign. Paul has been one of the most storied point guards in NBA history, having been named to 12 All-Star Games (including the All-Star Game MVP in 2013), 11 All-NBA teams (including four selections to the First-Team) and to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team. The future Hall of Famer led the league in assists five times -- most recently for the 2022-23 season as a member of the Suns. He also led the league in steals six times.

  • Clippers' Chris Paul: Back in rotation Monday

Paul logged three points (1-2 FG, 1-1 3Pt) and two rebounds in 11 minutes during Monday's 110-108 loss to Philadelphia.

Paul moved back into the rotation, albeit in a minor role. His return to Los Angeles has been nothing but disappointing, adding to the frustrations in Clipper land. At this point, there is no reason to be rostering him in any fantasy format.

  • Clippers' Chris Paul: DNP Wednesday

Paul didn't see the floor Wednesday in the Clippers' 130-116 loss to the Nuggets.

Paul was a healthy scratch for the third straight game after playing only 13 minutes per game leading up to this stretch. With injuries to Kawhi Leonard (ankle) and Bradley Beal (hip), there's a chance coach Tyronn Lue turns to the 40-year-old veteran, but for now, it seems Jordan Miller and Kobe Sanders are getting a chance in the rotation, each logging 25-plus minutes for the first time Wednesday.

  • Clippers' Chris Paul: Set for uptick in minutes

Paul is expected to see an increase in playing time Thursday night against the Suns, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.

The Clippers ruled James Harden out for Thursday's matchup due to personal reasons, which opens up the door for Paul to receive more opportunities. He's had a tough time finding ways to make an impact behind both Harden and Kris Dunn, averaging 2.3 points, 1.7 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.1 steals in 13.4 minutes over his first seven appearances of the season. Paul should have a chance to log a season high in minutes in Phoenix.
