Cavaliers' Dennis Schroder: Limited role continues
Schroder notched three points (1-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal across 21 minutes during Monday's 122-113 win over the Jazz.
Schroder, while still providing Cleveland with a solid backup, continues to offer very little during his limited time on the floor. In 14 appearances over the past month, he has averaged just 5.9 points and 3.8 assists in 20.5 minutes per game, leaving him well outside the top 300 in standard leagues.

Cavaliers' Sam Merrill: Struggles from perimeter
Merrill chipped in nine points (4-14 FG, 0-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal over 28 minutes during Monday's 122-113 win over the Jazz.
Merrill failed to land a single three-pointer for the first time in his past eight games, resulting in a sub-par fantasy line. As a player whose overall value is built around his ability to drain the long ball, nights such as this highlight the fact that he should be considered for streaming purposes only.

Cavaliers' Thomas Bryant: Depth role continues
Bryant finished Monday's 122-113 victory over Utah with two points (1-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt), seven rebounds and one steal over 18 minutes.
Bryant continues to serve as a backup option, despite the fact that Jarrett Allen was out due to injury management. Although Bryant appears to have cemented a spot in the rotation, it is unlikely to yield enough production to warrant significant fantasy attention.

Cavaliers' Keon Ellis: Starting against Jazz
Ellis will start in Monday's game versus Utah.
Cleveland is down Jarrett Allen (knee), Max Strus (foot), Dean Wade (ankle) and Jaylon Tyson (toe), so Ellis will return to the starting lineup. The 26-year-old last started in Wednesday's 120-103 loss to the Heat, finishing with 17 points, two rebounds, one assist and two steals in 37 minutes of work.

Cavaliers' Craig Porter: Getting green light Monday
Porter (groin) is available for Monday's game against the Jazz, Danny Cunningham of Sports Radio 92.3 The Fan Cleveland reports.
Porter will return to action following a seven-game absence due to a groin injury. He appeared in five games this month before going down with the injury, averaging 3.0 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 14.8 minutes per appearance during that stretch.

Cavaliers' Craig Porter: Likely to play Monday
Porter (groin) is probable for Monday's game against the Jazz.
Porter has missed the last seven games due to a groin injury, but he will likely return to action Monday. In his last three appearances, he averaged just 1.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 11.3 minutes per contest, so he doesn't figure to have much fantasy relevance in most formats.

Cavaliers' Max Strus: Ruled out for Monday
Strus (foot) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Jazz.
Strus will miss the front end of this back-to-back set due to left foot injury management, and his next opportunity to suit up will come Tuesday against the Lakers. With Jaylon Tyson (toe) and Dean Wade (ankle) also sidelined, Keon Ellis, Sam Merrill and Nae'Qwan Tomlin are all likely to see increased playing time.

Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Won't play Monday
Allen has been ruled out for Monday's game in Utah due to right knee injury management.
Allen will get hit with a maintenance day on the first leg of a back-to-back set, but he should be back for Tuesday's game in Los Angeles. Nae'Qwan Tomlin could see an uptick in minutes Monday with Allen unavailable.

Cavaliers' Jaylon Tyson: Unavailable for road trip
Tyson (toe) won't play in the Cavaliers' upcoming three-game road trip, according to Law Murray of The Athletic.
The Cavaliers have an upcoming three-game road trip, commencing Monday versus Utah and ending Thursday in Golden State. However, Tyson's left-toe bruise will keep him on the shelf for at least three more contests. With Dean Wade (ankle) also unavailable for the trip out west, Max Strus, Sam Merrill and Keon Ellis are in line for more work.

Cavaliers' Dean Wade: Out at least three games
Wade (ankle) won't be available to play in the Cavaliers' upcoming three-game road trip, according to Law Murray of The Athletic.
The Cavaliers have upcoming games against the Jazz, Lakers and Warriors, but Wade won't suit up for any of those contests and therefore will extend his current string of absences to five games, at minimum. It's currently uncertain when Wade will be able to return from his ankle injury, and while he's out of commission, Keon Ellis and Max Strus should see an increase in playing time.

Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Strong performance in return
Allen (knee) racked up 18 points (8-10 FG, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds and one block over 18 minutes during Friday's 149-128 victory over Miami.
Allen was given the green light to return Friday from a 10-game absence due to right knee tendinitis. He played just 18 minutes in his return, but he still co-led the Cavaliers in rebounds and finished as the team's third-leading scorer behind Max Strus (29 points) and Evan Mobley (23 points). Allen should continue to operate under a minutes restriction while getting up to NBA-level shape and may sit for one game of back-to-back sets for the rest of the regular season.

Cavaliers' Evan Mobley: Double-doubles vs. Miami
Mobley finished Friday's 149-128 win over Miami with 23 points (10-15 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists and one steal over 29 minutes.
Mobley scored 12 of his 23 points in the fourth quarter of Friday's blowout win and finished as the Cavaliers' second-leading scorer behind Max Strus (29 points). Mobley also collected his sixth double-double in 13 games since March 1 and his 24th of the season, which is tied with Ivica Zubac (ribs) and Paolo Banchero for 14th most in the Association. Since the beginning of March, Mobley has averaged 20.0 points, 9.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.5 blocks over 30.8 minutes per game.

Cavaliers' Max Strus: Huge night from three vs. Miami
Strus posted 29 points (10-14 FG, 8-11 3Pt, 1-2 FT), eight rebounds and one assist over 23 minutes during the Cavaliers' 149-128 win over the Heat on Friday.
Strus helped the Cavaliers build a commanding lead early on, scoring 22 of his game-high 29 points in the first half. It was the third time in his NBA career that he connected on eight triples, and he was one shy from tying a career high he set Jan. 31, 2022, also against Miami. Friday's contest demonstrated Strus' value to the team, especially in games where either one or both of Donovan Mitchell and James Harden struggle from the field.

Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Cleared to play Friday
Allen (knee) will play Friday versus Miami.
Allen was initially listed as probable, so the upgrade isn't much of a surprise. The 27-year-old hasn't played since March 3, so head coach Kenny Atkinson will take things slow by limiting him to around 20 minutes of work, according to Danny Cunningham of Sports Radio 92.3 The Fan Cleveland. As a result, Thomas Bryant should continue to see more minutes than usual from the second unit.

Cavaliers' Keon Ellis: Not starting Friday
Ellis won't start against the Heat on Friday, Danny Cunningham of Sports Radio 92.3 The Fan Cleveland reports.
Ellis got the starting nod in Wednesday's loss to Miami due to Dean Wade (ankle) and Jarrett Allen (knee) being out. However, Allen will return to the lineup Friday, pushing Ellis back to the second unit. Over nine appearances off the bench in March, the Alabama product has averaged 8.3 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.4 steals, 1.1 assists and 1.1 blocks in 25.9 minutes per contest.

Cavaliers' Jarrett Allen: Upgraded to probable
Allen (knee) is probable for Friday's game against the Heat.
Allen is trending toward a return after being on the sidelines since March 3. After such a lengthy rehab, it's possible he'll face restrictions in his first game back. Thomas Bryant is likely to see less minutes with this news.
