Suns' Jusuf Nurkic: Pulls down 14 rebounds
Nurkic logged 10 points (4-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 14 rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 26 minutes during Sunday's 116-109 victory over the Trail Blazers.
Nurkic delivered an impressive performance on both ends of the court Sunday and recorded his first double-double since Nov. 26, although it must be noted he also missed five games between Nov. 30 and Dec. 8 due to a thigh problem. Nurkic might hold a secondary role on offense behind the Suns' Big Three, but he can get the job done on both ends of the court when needed. This was his seventh double-double of the season.

Suns' Devin Booker: Goes for 28 points Sunday
Booker contributed 28 points (7-14 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 10-12 FT), three rebounds, five assists and one steal in 37 minutes during Sunday's 116-109 victory over Portland.
Booker led the Suns in scoring once again, and the star guard is going through one of his most productive stretches of the season in recent weeks. He's scored at least 25 points in all but one of his last 10 games, averaging 28.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 1.2 steals per game in that stretch.

Suns' Tyus Jones: Nearly perfect from field Sunday
Jones produced 19 points (8-9 FG, 3-3 3Pt), four rebounds and four assists across 32 minutes during Sunday's 116-109 win over the Trail Blazers.
Jones has been remarkably consistent for the Suns over the last few weeks despite holding a secondary role on offense behind the star trio of Devin Booker, Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal (knee). The veteran floor general has scored in double digits in eight games in a row and has eclipsed the 15-point plateau five times in that stretch. He's also averaging 7.0 assists and 2.5 rebounds per contest in that eight-game stretch, so he's doing more than just scoring at an efficient rate (59.5 percent from the floor, 58.7 percent from three in those eight appearances).

Suns' Bradley Beal: Won't play Sunday
Beal (knee) is out for Sunday's game against the Trail Blazers, Gerald Bourguet of GoPHNX.com reports.
Beal will miss a second consecutive game due to swelling in his knee. Royce O'Neale and Josh Okogie figure to see increased roles in Beal's absence. The 13th-year pro's next chance to suit up is Thursday against the Pacers.

Suns' Bradley Beal: Questionable to play Sunday
Beal (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Trail Blazers, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.
Beal missed Friday's 134-126 win over the Jazz after experiencing swelling in his knee, and the questionable tag suggests a decision on his status will be made closer to Sunday's 8 p.m. ET tipoff. If Beal is unable to suit up, then Royce O'Neale would probably remain in the starting lineup at one of the forward spots alongside Kevin Durant. Beal is averaging 16.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.0 steals per game in four appearances in December.

Suns' Jusuf Nurkic: Productive in big minutes in return
Nurkic (thigh) turned in 12 points (6-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt), seven rebounds, three blocks and one steal across 31 minutes in Friday's 134-126 win over the Jazz.
Nurkic reclaimed his spot in the starting five after missing the last five games, initially due to a left ankle sprain and then due to a right thigh contusion. He faced no restrictions in his return, clearing the 30-minute mark while setting a new season high with three blocks. Nurkic's health has been shaky this season and his minutes have been volatile, but if he can replicate Friday's line with any sort of regularity, he'll be worthy of a roster spot in 12-team points and category leagues.

Suns' Ryan Dunn: Delivers point per minute in return
Dunn (ankle) scored 13 points (5-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and added two blocks, one steal and one rebound across 13 minutes Friday in the Suns' 134-126 win over the Jazz.
The Suns were without Bradley Beal (knee) on Friday, but the team was otherwise back to full strength with Dunn, Kevin Durant (ankle) and Jusuf Nurkic (thigh) returning from three-, three- and five-game absences, respectively. While Dunn delivered strong numbers during his time on the court, he likely won't see his minutes climb much further now that Durant is back in the fold. Dunn's output on the defensive end (0.6 steals and 0.6 blocks in 17.6 minutes per game this season) was fully expected after he shined on that end of the court during his collegiate career at Virginia, but the rookie's development as a perimeter shooter has been a more unexpected surprise. He's knocking down 1.2 three-pointers per game at a 32.4 percent clip for Phoenix after going 12-for-51 from distance (23.5 percent) over his two seasons in college.

Suns' Tyus Jones: Double-double in Friday's win
Jones logged 19 points (6-9 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and 11 assists in 32 minutes during Friday's 134-126 win over the Jazz.
It's the fourth double-double of the season for the point guard, and all of them have come in the last 11 games. Over that stretch, Jones is averaging 15.0 points, 7.9 assists, 2.9 threes, 2.5 boards and 1.5 steals while shooting 51.7 percent from the floor, 49.2 percent from long distance and 90.0 percent from the charity stripe.

Suns' Devin Booker: Pours in game-high 34
Booker racked up 34 points (13-27 FG, 6-13 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, eight assists and one steal across 38 minutes during Friday's 134-126 win over the Jazz.
The veteran guard led all scorers on the night as he posted his highest point total since Nov. 17, when he dropped 44 on the Timberwolves. Booker has topped 20 points in nine straight games, averaging 28.2 points, 6.3 assists, 3.8 boards, 2.9 threes and 1.2 steals over that stretch.

Suns' Kevin Durant: Drops 30 in return
Durant (ankle) contributed 30 points (8-17 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 12-12 FT), eight assists, three rebounds, one block and one steal over 34 minutes during Friday's 134-126 win over the Jazz.
After missing the prior three games with a left ankle sprain, Durant returned to the court and didn't miss a beat. The 36-year-old forward has only appeared in 14 of the Suns' 24 games so far this season, but he's drained multiple three-pointers in all 14 while averaging 26.1 points, 6.4 boards, 3.4 assists and 1.4 blocks. He's shooting 53.1 percent from the floor and 44.6 percent from beyond the arc.

Suns' Mason Plumlee: Returning to bench role
Plumlee is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Jazz.
Plumlee will return to his regular bench role since Jusuf Nurkic is back and available to reclaim his starting spot. Plumlee isn't expected to see enough minutes off the bench to be a reliable fantasy option.

Suns' Bradley Beal: Ruled out for Friday
Beal (knee) is out for Friday's game against the Jazz, Marc J. Spears of ESPN.com reports.
Beal's swelling started between Thursday and Friday morning, according to head coach Mike Budenholzer, per Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic. It seems the Suns have elected to be cautious with their star guard. Beal's next chance to play will come against the Trail Blazers on Sunday, though that'll depend on whether the swelling has reduced or not.

Suns' Bradley Beal: Added to injury report
Beal has been added to the injury report ahead of Friday's game versus the Jazz in Utah due to right knee swelling, Gerald Bourguet of GoPHNX.com reports.
Beal played in six of the Suns' previous seven games, including in four straight, but that streak is now up in the air. Final confirmation on his status will presumably depend on how his knee is feeling after it gets tested out in pregame warmups. Should he ultimately sit out, Royce O'Neale and Josh Okogie are candidates for increased minutes.
