Less clear is which tag (franchise or transition) is utilized and on whom (QB Daniel Jones or WR Alec Pierce). One real possibility: A transition tag for Jones. -

Teams are able to perform gymnastics to make things work. Cuts, extensions, etc. They have work to do with pending long-term deals for Daniel Jones and Alec Pierce,
