  • 49ers' Kyle Juszczyk: Returns to practice Wednesday

Juszczyk (finger) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

Juszczyk continues to manage the finger injury he sustained in early August. The full return to practice after Tuesday's missed session likely means the team allowed the fullback some sort of vet rest, and he did not miss Tuesday for any worsening injury.

  • 49ers' Kyle Juszczyk: Misses practice Tuesday

Juszczyk (finger) is not practicing Tuesday, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.

Juszczyk has been dealing with a finger injury for the past month but was able to practice Monday, so his absence Tuesday is notable. It could also just be some sort of veteran management. The fullback has no fantasy value after averaging just 1.8 touches per game last regular season.

  • 49ers' Kyle Juszczyk: DNP on Wednesday

Juszczyk (finger) did not participate in Wednesday's training-camp session, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Juszczyk joins the rapidly growing list of 49ers' battle wounds with a broken finger. The fullback suffered a similar injury in 2022, resolving the issue with surgery. If the team elects to go down the same route, Juszczyk will likely miss a few weeks while recovering before playing through the cleanup with a club on his hand.

  • 49ers' Kyle Juszczyk: Productive season as receiver

Juszczyk caught 24 of 28 targets for 213 yards and two touchdowns while rushing twice for minus-3 yards across 17 regular-season games in 2025.

With the 49ers' wide-receiver room struggling with injuries throughout the year, Juszczyk was relied upon more heavily as a pass catcher. The Harvard product responded with his highest reception and yardage totals since his 2021 campaign, ranking seventh on the team in catches and eighth in receiving yards. Under contract through 2026, the 34-year-old is expected to retain a similar role in San Francisco's offense next season.

  • 49ers' Kyle Juszczyk: Good to go for Saturday

Juszczyk (hip) does not have an injury designation for Saturday's matchup versus Seattle.

Juszczyk managed a hip issue throughout the week but has been given the green light to play Saturday after logging a full practice Thursday. His availability is a big deal for San Francisco's offense given the veteran fullback's impact as a blocker and pass catcher. While he doesn't get enough touches on offense to be impactful in fantasy, Juszczyk has put together a nice 23-208-2 receiving line on 26 targets this season.

  • 49ers' Kyle Juszczyk: Limited Wednesday

Juszczyk (hip) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

After missing Tuesday's session due to a hip issue, Juszczyk was able to log some on-field work, putting himself on a path to be available Saturday against the Seahawks. GM John Lynch told Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News on Wednesday that Juszczyk was trending toward playing Week 18, so his upgrade generally is a good sign in that regard.

  • 49ers' Kyle Juszczyk: Working through hip injury

Juszczyk didn't participate in Tuesday's practice due to a hip injury, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

Juszczyk played 39 of 72 offensive snaps (54.2 percent) during the 49ers' 42-38 win over the Bears on Sunday, hauling in both of his targets for 14 yards, including a six-yard touchdown pass from Brock Purdy in the third quarter. The fullback appears to have come out of that contest worse for wear with a hip injury, but he'll have two more opportunities to return to practice ahead of Saturday's tilt with the Seahawks.

  • 49ers' Kyle Juszczyk: Cleared to play Week 15

Juszczyk (ribs) does not have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Titans, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Juszczyk fractured his rib during the 49ers' Week 13 win over the Browns. The veteran fullback had extra time to recovery courtesy of the 49ers' Week 14 bye, and he's been given the green light to play in Sunday's home game. Juszczyk has mostly operated as a backfield blocker on run plays but has also been effective in the passing attack, having hauled in 20 passes (on 23 targets) for 187 yards and a touchdown through 13 regular-season games.

  • 49ers' Kyle Juszczyk: Remains limited Thursday

Juszczyk (ribs) logged a limited practice Thursday.

Juszczyk has begun Week 15 prep with consecutive limited practice sessions due to a fractured rib. The fact the veteran fullback has been able to participate in some capacity both Wednesday and Thursday suggests he has a chance of suiting up Sunday against Tennessee, though he may get an injury designation for the contest if he's not able to practice in full Friday. Should Juszczyk have to miss Sunday's game, it would mark his first absence from a regular-season contest since 2022.

  • 49ers' Kyle Juszczyk: Limited by rib injury

Juszczyk (ribs) logged a limited practice Wednesday.

Juszczyk suffered a fractured rib ahead of the 49ers' bye week. That gave him the chance to rest and the opportunity to suit up for the 49ers' Week 15 matchup against the Titans.

  • 49ers' Kyle Juszczyk: Dealing with rib fracture

Juszczyk is dealing with a rib fracture ahead of the 49ers' bye week, David Lombardi of SFStandard.com reports.

Juszczyk sustained the injury in the team's 26-8 win over the Browns on Sunday, and he's expected to be reevaluated after the team is idle in Week 14. The fullback will have a good shot at not missing any action moving forward as a result of the week off.

  • 49ers' Kyle Juszczyk: Further evaluation coming

Juszczyk will have further evaluation on his ribs injury once the team returns to Santa Clara, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters that initial tests revealed no broken ribs, but Juszczyk will still undergo further testing to determine the extent of his injury. The 49ers have a Week 14 bye, which could allow the 34-year-old fullback enough time to recover ahead of the team's Week 15 matchup against the Titans.
