Buccaneers' William Gholston: Set to suit up Sunday
Gholston (knee) is not among Tampa Bay's inactives for Sunday's Week 18 matchup versus the Saints, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Gholston logged an LP/LP/DNP practice progression this week due to a knee issue and entered the weekend deemed questionable to play. However, the veteran defensive end is going to be able to take the field in Tampa Bay's important regular-season finale. Gholston hasn't been getting many opportunities of late, though, with fewer than 10 defensive snaps in five of his past six contests.

Buccaneers' William Gholston: Nabs first sack of season
Gholston posted three tackles (one solo), including 1.0 sacks, and recorded an additional quarterback hit in the Buccaneers' 51-27 win over the Saints on Sunday.
The veteran defensive lineman recorded one of five sacks on rookie Spencer Rattler in his first NFL start. Gholston logged under 20 defensive snaps for the third straight game, however, and given he's never been known for his pass-rushing prowess, the 12-year veteran is far from a reliable IDP option at this stage of his career.

Buccaneers' William Gholston: Back with Tampa
Gholston re-signed with the Buccaneers on Monday, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.
Gholston will remain in Tampa Bay in 2024 for what will be his 12th season in the league. The 32-year-old played a career-low 234 snaps on defense last season, recording zero sacks for the second consecutive year, although he did log his first career interception. He'll likely remain a depth option on the edge for the Buccaneers in 2024.

Buccaneers' William Gholston: Won't suit up at Packers
Gholston (knee) is out for Sunday's game at Green Bay, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.
Gholston will miss his first game since 2017 as he nurses a knee injury he sustained in Week 14 at Atlanta. In his place, Patrick O'Connor could see an uptick in snaps on the defensive line.
