Buccaneers' Mike Evans: Gets into end zone Sunday
Evans secured five of nine targets for 31 yards and a touchdown in the Buccaneers' 23-20 loss to the Panthers on Sunday.
Evans appeared to be on his way to a big day when he hauled in a one-yard scoring grab with just over four minutes remaining in the first quarter, but he was relatively contained the rest of the afternoon. His day also closed out on a sour note, as Scott Smith of the team's official site reports Evans misread Baker Mayfield's intentions on a fourth-quarter pass that resulted in a game-sealing interception for Carolina. The Buccaneers still have a chance to win the NFC South by prevailing in their final two contests, however, so Evans will be locked in during a Week 17 road matchup against a beatable Dolphins secondary.

Buccaneers' Mike Evans: Good to go
Evans (collarbone/rest) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Panthers.
Evans returned from a long-term absence last week, catching six of 12 targets for 132 yards in a 29-28 loss to the Falcons. He finished out this week with a full practice, so it won't come as any surprise if he gets a boost in playing time relative to last week's 54 percent snap share.

Buccaneers' Mike Evans: Receives Thursday off
Evans (collarbone/rest) was listed as a non-participant in Thursday's practice.
Evans had previously been listed as a limited participant in Wednesday's practice while he continued to get extra maintenance for his fractured collarbone, which kept him out for six games before he returned to action in last Thursday's 29-28 loss to the Falcons. Though a mid-week downgrade in practice activity is normally worrisome, the fact that the Buccaneers are also attributing Evans' absence to rest suggests that Thursday may have been a pre-planned off day for the veteran wideout. Assuming Evans is able to practice Friday in some fashion, he should be ready to play a full complement of snaps in Sunday's game at Carolina.

Buccaneers' Mike Evans: Logs limited practice Wednesday
Evans (collarbone) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Brianna Dix of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Evans returned to action last Thursday against the Falcons for the first time since breaking his collarbone during Week 7 action at Detroit, and he managed to log a 54 percent snap share en route to six catches (on 12 targets) for 132 yards. His practice limitations this week likely are related to maintenance, but his status still bears watching as the weekend draws closer to ensure he'll be available Sunday in Carolina.

Buccaneers' Mike Evans: Stellar showing in IR return
Evans (collarbone) brought in six of 12 targets for 132 yards in the Buccaneers' 29-28 loss to the Falcons on Thursday night.
Taking the field for the first time since Week 7, Evans looked as good as head coach Todd Bowles had reported the star receiver had during this week's practices. Evans made his first catch for a gain of 12 yards on the Buccaneers' second drive, and he went on to add noteworthy gains of 12 and 33 yards later in the first half. On Tampa Bay's first possession after halftime, the perennial Pro Bowler would go on to add a 45-yard grab, which accounted for half of the yards on a drive that culminated in a Devin Culp six-yard touchdown catch. Evans' receptions, receiving yards and targets were all season highs, and he'll aim to carry over the momentum into a Week 16 divisional road clash against the Panthers on Sunday, Dec. 21.

Buccaneers' Mike Evans: Back in action Thursday
Evans (collarbone) is listed as active Thursday against the Falcons.
Evans thus is in line for his first appearance since Week 7, when he initially suffered a broken collarbone. Since he returned to practice last Wednesday, he was listed as limited on all six of the Buccaneers' injury reports, and coach Todd Bowles revealed to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times this Wednesday that Evans has yet to take contact. On Thursday afternoon, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reported that Evans was expected to play in Week 15, but the veteran wide receiver also will be operating under a snap count. As a result, Evans seemingly will be working behind at least Emeka Egbuka and Chris Godwin in the pecking order at the position, while Jalen McMillan (neck), Tez Johnson, Sterling Shepard and Kameron Johnson also will be on hand for snaps and targets.

Buccaneers' Mike Evans: On track to play Thursday
Evans (collarbone) is officially listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Falcons, though he's in line to play and is expected to be on a "pitch count" with his snaps, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Evans' availability won't be confirmed until Tampa Bay releases its inactive list 90 minutes prior to the game's 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff, but he looks poised to play for the first time since Week 7 after the Buccaneers activated him from injured reserve Wednesday. Though the 32-year-old wideout didn't take full contact at any point since having his 21-day practice window opened last Wednesday, the Buccaneers feel comfortable enough with how he's recovered from a broken clavicle to clear him for game action. As Fowler notes, Evans probably won't play his usual complement of snaps, but Tampa Bay plans to have him on the field for its most important downs. If Evans escapes Thursday's contest without incident, he should be ready to handle a fuller workload Week 16 at Carolina.
