  • Duron Harmon: Enters free agency

    Harmon, set to hit free agency, recorded 16 tackles, including 1.0 sacks, two passes defensed and one interception in four regular-season games for the Browns in 2023. Harmon was a nice November pickup for Cleveland and played key December snaps when the Browns locked up their postseason berth. The 33-year-old has tons of NFL experience, including three Super Bowl rings with the Patriots. He'll find a home in 2024 if he wants to continue playing.

  • Browns' Duron Harmon: Added to active roster

    Harmon was signed to the Browns' active roster Wednesday. Harmon will join Cleveland's roster ahead of their Week 15 matchup with the Bears. The safety will help fill the vacancy left in the team's secondary with both Rodney McLeod (biceps) and Grant Delpit (groin) on injured reserve. With Juan Thornhill (calf) a nonparticipant at practice Wednesday, Harmon could be thrust into a significant role in the Browns' secondary versus Chicago.

  • Lions' Duron Harmon: Dealt to Lions

    The Patriots traded Harmon to the Lions on Wednesday in a deal that also involves a swap of late-round picks, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Per Ben Volin of The Boston Globe, the move clears up about $3.5 million in cap space for the Patriots, while simultaneously bolstering the Lions' depth at safety. Harmon, who New England selected in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft, recorded 22 tackles and two picks during the 2019 season.
