Rams' Troy Reeder: Lands on IR with hamstring injury
The Rams placed Reeder (hamstring) on injured reserve Thursday.
Reeder was unable to practice during the Rams' short week due to a hamstring injury, which appears severe enough for him to warrant a stint on injured reserve. As a result, Reeder will be forced to sit out for at least the next four regular-season games, and the earliest he can return is Week 12 against the Eagles on Nov. 24. Michael Hoecht and Omar Speights will use Thursday's game against the Vikings as an opportunity to make a case for the starting linebacker job alongside Christian Rozeboom while Reeder is sidelined.

Rams' Troy Reeder: Won't play against Minnesota
Reeder (hamstring) was listed as a DNP on Wednesday's injury report and has been ruled out ahead of Thursday's game against the Vikings, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
Reeder was able to play through a toe injury earlier in the season. However, he was unable to practice all week due to a hamstring injury, and the 30-year-old linebacker will miss his first game of the season. With Reeder sidelined for Thursday's contest, Michael Hoecht and Omar Speights are the top candidates to start at inside linebacker alongside Christian Rozeboom.

Rams' Troy Reeder: Nine stops in win
Reeder recorded nine total tackles (five solo) in Sunday's 20-15 win over the Raiders.
Reeder finished tied for the team lead in takedowns with safety Quentin Lake, reaching at least eight tackles for the fourth time this season. The linebacker has now produced 46 total tackles (26 solo) and a pass defensed over six games in 2024.
