Tranquill registered seven tackles (three solo) in Sunday's 26-25 win over the Bengals.
Tranquill tied with Nick Bolton and Justin Reid for the most tackles on the Chiefs on Sunday. Tranquill played just 48 of the Chiefs' 64 defensive snaps, but the 2019 fourth-round pick remains a key piece to Kansas City's run defense. Tranquill will have his hands full against running back Bijan Robinson and the Falcons in Week 3.

Chiefs' Drue Tranquill: Sticking in KC
Tranquill signed a three-year, $19 million contract with the Chiefs on Thursday, Jordan Schultz of BleacherReport.com reports.
Tranquill joined Kansas City last offseason and stepped into a significant role in the defense -- particularly when either Nick Bolton or Willie Gay missed time. He'll now be locked into a long-term deal with the team and see the field plenty moving forward.
